This hotel is located on the direct way between airport and city. Most of the rooms are on the ground floor and quite long corridors to reach. Some rooms on the top floor have a view of the roof and ugly pipes. This first room we were given, but the friendly girl at the front desk was willing, to our desire to be a nicer room downstairs. The Windows did not open, only a narrow ventilation bar next to it we found a bit too little. Beds and chairs were comfortable, the bathroom had normal equipment. In the restaurant there ... was breakfast buffet. Muesli, cornflakes, jams, bread rolls, bread (especially crispbread), sausage and cheese is a bit unimaginative, eggs, but no bacon. Therefor from waffles to bake waffle, yogurt, juices. Decent Standard. Evening you could get also buffet. There was (we stayed two nights) three different dishes: salmon, a pork dish and even chicken, beef sirloin the other times, which was very nice pink was roasted. Salad selection before. Draft beer and wine were served with good reason moderate prices. In front of the hotel to the parking lot there were some tables in green surroundings. The hotel was well visited, very many Swedes stayed there, many young families, couples. Mixed Guests. Friendly Atmosphere. It was very quiet at night. From this hotel you have a car in a few minutes on the bridge in the middle of the bustling city of Umeå. read more
