Apartments Sorrabona^{(3 stars)}

Very big and large rooms with bath & window in the bathroom, large balcony (even though only with small sea view - but most of the rooms had view of the sea). Big sofa with extract below - absolutely for 3 or 4 people to use updating! There was no minibar, but TV with 3 German channels, a safe for 4 euro per day and also a telephone! Especially nice: floor was wiped every day, because it had tiles and no keimfähiger carpet!

There is a bar with indoor & outdoor area, the sufficient space and from 8:30 until 00:30 was open! The buffet food was fine: There was no excessive grooming offer, but just remember all the dishes were homemade and every night there was a changing, lots of variety! You could indeed with 2 meat & 1 fish dish. In addition noodles, always fresh salads, ice cream and fresh fruit! The drinks are also very convenient: 0,5 l water for 1,60 euro ! Or a glass of wine for no 2€! In general the food was very continental - whether it was breakfast or dinner!

The staff was very friendly and tried to speak languages - at the reception desk you could from German to English even Dutch! The rooms are cleaned daily and we needed even a doctor - that was no problem and they helped us the reception immediately and ordered everything necessary (taxi etc. ). We were able to check in even 10:00 morning, even though on the forms actually 2:00 pm!

I can't say much about the entertainment - the weather was pretty bad during our stay! There is a large, clean pool in the courtyard with pool chairs. (Very safe for children, they could not have lopped off! ) One evening there was live entertainment in the bar and plenty of excursion possibilities were offered!

The hotel is rather casual and comfortable, which I found to be pleasant, since you feel personal attention and at the reception you easily greeted by name! The hotel is completely in good condition and was cleaned regularly. The diverse clientele were both from Spain, the Netherlands, France or UK - generally all very pleasant and no special complaints to report.

The hotel is located very close to the beach - one has only happen an underpass and is right on a clean beach. The place Pineda de Mar is rather quiet compared to other places in the area, such as. Blanes or Lloret de Mar! To relax but absolutely okay and despite was designed and arranged well there were a few possibilities for shopping or eating out. As we were in the off season, the peace certainly into underlying! The place has good access to public transport: There are regular train to the neighboring towns and also a kind of S-train to Barcelona(why we mainly were there). The ride is about 1 hour and pleasant by air-conditioned car and also totally cheap! (& Return together £5.75 Euros !!! )
