We belong to the regular guests, come gladly every year again and every time on the new, if the staff at reminded us. Many thanks for the delicious birthday cake and decorated table in the restaurant. The fluctuation with the staff is very low, the spoke in my opinion for and the hotel.     Suite with a view of the sea, well equipped with a kettle for tea or coffee. No complaints with the cleanliness, every 2 days there were new bed sheets, bathrobe and hotelpantoffeln are available.

    Travel time from the airport rd. 1 hour (depending on the number of the way the hotels, which are started). Shoppingmöglichkeiten are in the area available. There were hotel taxis, the us after a call from Manavgat once again. A Dolmuş stop is right in front of the hotel. In side there were several hotels, therefore sometimes construction occurs.

The terraced hotel has 310 rooms on 6 floors, 2 elevators and has otherwise only on staircases. You should know that, if you're in the cold and rainy season this hotel decides. The beautiful garden area was always clean and neat. Because we in the winter our long-term vacation in the hotel spend, is at this time the ages 70 and older, mostly german, some french, dutch and belgian. We would like to mention the tierfreundlichkeit of the hotel, in particular the katzenfutterplätze, sterilization, and if necessary the veterinary care for the animals. For the financing, there is a spendenbox. read more

    The rooms are equipped with balcony, air conditioning, telephone, satellite-tv, minibar, safe with a number code, bathrobe, hair dryer, make-up mirror. The room decor was on the furniture. Of the two existing armchairs we found particularly the smaller a bit uncomfortable.

The atmosphere in the alara café is unfortunately somewhat uncomfortable, partly through the uncomfortable chairs, to the other through a lack of green plants, not least with leads, that in the winter the evening shows of the guests less well visited.

    The hotel features an indoor pool, gym, sauna, turkish bath. Other possibilities of sporting activity, there was aerobics, billiards, darts, Boccia. In the hotel's health centre services are although it is very good, but partly more expensive than in Germany. It seize many hotel guests rather on the offers of the local vendors back.

It was for the two of us very relaxing weeks of vacation. Thanks to sauna, pool and gymnastics were the rainy day not boring. Particularly the guest relation ladies were very friendly and accommodating. Walks to side or in the other direction are on offer. The hotel was very quiet and january not fully booked. On our wishes were immediately cared for. We will definitely this hotel in the winter again, as well as the heater worked well. The value for money was correct. read more

So lots of negative impressions we had in any hotel. Totally unfriendly and incompetent staff at the reception. Small complaints was overtaxed and not helpful. 99% germans guests, however very bad language skills. Also no greeting, or adoption, or question, whether us stay pleased, let alone, with departure the 29 december a happy new year to be. No good morning or other greeting. Power outage on the agenda. Had 20 minutes to the bathing persevere, until someone came to ensure to restart. Water was sometimes from the ceiling, or ran the windows down, but where it should sink came nothing ..., however in the toilet it ran for hours, despite 3 maliger complaint. The sliding door (erdgeschoss -4) could 2 days and nights not abgeschloosen are. Only when the question was, who with theft is liable the technician. Very outdated hotel and very simple staff. Who us noticed very positively, if you the waiter Erdal. Very accommodating, polite and friendly, and its task. read more

We were for the 4. time in the Asteria. In the summer the hotel is recommendable, in the winter however unfortunately not more. The food was repeated almost daily. The new year's eve gala dinner was a total letdown. It was only the optics value, the dishes were nearly all not even lukewarm, but cold. The cold buffet and the desserts were the same as at the other days, only optically a bit better presented. The evening entertainment was also more than bad, which also in the number of visitors the bar we paidand represented. The live music was very ... bad, otherwise bingo evenings with about 10 tourists, a yogashow for the birthday party. This was however not at the very zealous and nice entertainers. We have several regulars at the Asteria spoken, the this hotel in the winter also will not any longer book. To mention would be still the unfriendlyness at the front desk, for example at night came a finnish tourists at, in the hallways very loudly noticeable, so all the guests became awake. As you on the next day at the front desk we complained, instead of an apology the comment: 'if it is not, you can do 2 hotels further move in'. read more

The hotel is really good. Clean, always friendly, service in the restaurant courteous. Got our drinks at the table without it zubestellen. Construction from the hotel really pleased us, but unfortunately not for every suitable as part lots of stairs must be taken to the main house with of the lobby, restaurant and so on to get. Lots of regular guests and a favored hotel of german guests. Indoor pool in comparison to other hotels on pleasant 30 degrees and nice and big. Entertainment for the kids was not available in the low season opposite other hotels. But we knew ... this from other reviews. Still a shame, Especially if it always was raining on several days. For the 3. time in the Asteria and satisfied once again. One must in the winter just be aware, that the average age near about 80 years is. Accordingly is the framework programme. Because we however only for relaxation there were and the food etc. Very good and the location and cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired, we are again completely contented. What wasn't so nice was, were the construction work in and around the hotel (not announced previously were) and new year's eve was not particulary good, no sparkling wine for toast and not a rocket-that should for a ... hotel as the Asteria simply different/better. read more

Since our 1st visit to the Asteria over 20 years the hotel has in every aspect its quality preserved. The you could otherwise only from few versus say... Never book a room with a land view (to close on the road) sea side is very recommendable - the higher the floor the better the view! The Asteria was 1987 and has approximately 360 rooms. Condition and cleanliness were for us no reason for critic. As already so often mentioned in other reviews, is the Asteria Side for handicapped because of the stairs definitely not recommended and still there is always handicapped the obviously the reviews not believe. You have to other hotels the safe, bathrobe, or the internet pay extra, it is in the Asteria Side really all inclusive. Half board we wouldn't recommend it, there the beverages and the extra ice cream for children had to be additionally paid and the extras, known is ... always expensive. It is well known, particularly in the low-season and winter very many germans regular guests their vacation in Asteria Side spend. Why is this so? Probably, because the value for money and the whole environment is true. Unfortunately there is always guests, the in the winter the same services (for less money, for example. Also of the entertainment) like in the summer expect. It is comparable with a Car wash, who the full program would like, must pay more. read more

    The size of the rooms is enough for us. In the new part of the hotel the rooms are a little bit bigger and more modern decor. All the rooms are with flat screen tv and the most important german tv channels. In all-inclusive, is the mini bar daily with missing drinks refilled. Several times we got a plate with fresh fruit to the room provided, only who will eat everything. The buffet is so rich, with fresh fruit, that we unfortunately the beautiful fruit back again left. Telephone in the room we couldn't rate, we had either from the cell phone or the cardphone at the front desk phone. Only point of criticism was the somewhat older cleaning staff responsible for our room to clean. Incompetent, unfriendly and trinkgeldgeil. So you can no tip received. Their discontent reflected then about the cleaning again. On such employees can Asteria do.

We were in the Asteria for the 9. time and say, that 99% of the staff, customer service, entertainment, up to the manager better german, as we germans spoke turkish.     The sports by the pool is in the winter limited. At the beach daily (without rain) in the mornings and afternoons play boccie were offered.     The drive from the Airport Antalya to Asteria is approximately 75 kilometer. but mostly several hotels with new guests on the route, with an approximate driving time of about 1,5-2 hours to be expected. The way to the swimming pools with the notorious slide must have some steps be mastered. If in the meantime the thirst toils, can at the pool bar as well as at the beach bar ( pool bar only in the high season open) its thirst stillnesses. The way to the fine and very well maintained sandy beach is through a beautiful well kept park. The food at the pool bar is definitely recommendable. In the winter you can oranges. Mandarins or pomegranate fresh from the tree pick. Shopping offers a nice walk on the beautiful promenade after side, or monday and thursday from the hotel with the taxi or Dolmuş to Manavgat to the large market, or the new mall to Kumköy. Since on the opposite side of the street not only a pharmacy, but also a disco, is assumed, that for the rooms to the side of the road the rest of disco music beleitet is.

The Hotel Asteria does not belong to the huge and new hotels. It is therefore still very well arranged and has a really nice location. Especially worth mentioning is the very nice garden area. The rooms are clean and nicely equipped. The rooms to the street are a bit noisy, since nearby a discotheque is. The dishes were more than enough and also tasted very good. The waiters are quick and always friendly - no matter wether in the restaurant or in one of the bars. The distance to the old town from side is about 3 kilometer. because of ... many stairs the hotel is for wheelchair users not so good. The staircases are largely outside of the building, what in case of bad weather a small downside is. The swimming pool is clean and tidy and the beach is also very clean. On the positive side, that you here also a heart for cats has. In the Asteria you feel comfortable and probably gladly again. read more
