Hotel Mitsis Roda Beach^{(4.5 stars)}

Very good, large bed, large closet and a balcony. Disadvantage: safe key 40 Euro for one week! Small tv with 2 german programs

The style of the kitchen was english especially for breakfast. It was very rich. There was next to mirror, scrambled, boiled egg; bratkatoffel ; bacon; beans ; crepes; also rolls, salami, cheese. The lunch was very good, with many dishes. Unfortunately little variation in terms of food. However therefor the 3 small restaurants at the beach there! China-man very recommendable! Already at the entrance one was welcomed and got a table assigned.

Staff are very friendly! All english speaking, some can german and french. What the cleaning of the rooms subject : very pleasant and the room always looked great. Doctor on request to the hotel. Only drawback: the mini bar was only after my request refilled. (the had forgotten our room number the person responsible to be communicated)

Entertainment Leisure facilities : Volleyball, water polo, archery, soccer, Tennis etc. Chairs at the beach and at the pool with umbrellas. We always got. Beach was very clean sandy beach Pool use of 9:30 until 19:00 o'clock then they were cleaned

Very big complex, with several pools, very clean. Guests from England, Germany, Bulgaria and Russia (number of descending) It was all age groups were represented! Food: a main restaurant, 3 small restaurants at the beach (ch, it, gr) for afternoons and evenings. Entertainment sport : Volleyball, water polo, archery, soccer, Tennis etc.

Directly at the beach, circa 45 kilometer to the airport and into town Corfu (about 1 hour) Shopping opportunities in the area little available in the neighboring town Acharavi directly at the beach entlandca. 2,5 kilometer there are purchase possibilities or by bus to Corfu City 3,60 Euro p. people (exit in Roda). Excursion possibilities: from 1/2 day until whole day everything for everyone. Grotto, etc. In Roda there is rental booths for quad, scooter motorbike, bicycle (quad 1 day about 35 €, bike 5 €) with which you the island explore.

We had a double room with a sea view. The location of the room was very good, because it far away from the hustle and bustle by the pool was. The size whereas seems rather for pygmies to be aligned. The room has approximately 10 meters². With the bath behaves not better. The small bath tub is using glasschiebe half-separated and must also be shower be used. We are both slender, but could turn you during the shower hardly. Otherwise is every time the whole bath flooded. The sink was to just over knee height. To teeth to deseam, I could me kneel down. As already mentioned, is the mini bar in the price included. There you will find 2 Cola, 2 beer, 2 orangeade, 2 lemonade, 2 seven-up and 2 water. Every 2 days refilling. Since we had already had our maid on the first day 'bribed' have, was in between refilled. It is worthwhile so, from time to time a 5. the mobilisation.

As already described there is a main restaurant with a large buffet and 3 theme restaurants. Under the tables in the main restaurant you could many a time the order of courses of the predecessor nachvolziehen. The best one should rather early or rather late for going out to eat. We witnessed several instances, that people, the at o'clock to eat went, over 15 minutes suggest are, until a place allocated. Inside from the main restaurant there is a noise level as in a football stadium. A seat outside on the balcony is therefore a must. For 4.5, respectively 5 star hotel, one can expect more. We have for example last year in a four star hotel in Spain better eaten. We stayed from the theme restaurants the italians tested. The ambience right in front at the sea is of course a lot pleasant as in the main restaurant. The food was there ok, has however with a good Italian us with nothing to do. The portions are suitable for kids, for a fully grown man however laughable. But you can afterwards yes again in the large restaurant 'reload'. For reservation we were friday evening at the front desk and then for monday a table when the italians get. Before everything was already booked. The system is so which ought to be re-examined. A absolute insolence are the beverages. Please do not the silence water try! brechgefahr! It is with chlorine versetztes tap water. Also the soft drinks taste after chlorine. The offered wines have exactly the same taste, as the vinegar next to the salad buffet. So best you take from the mini bar ( is in all inclusive-package) something to drink to eat. The offered ' cocktails' well deserving of their name. In paper cups served followed by, watered-down rubbish. So do not even bother. Really a cheek, such a thing in a higher hotel to offer.

Light and shade. At the reception we were welcomed in a friendly manner. Also otherwise one was there always very friendly served. The knowledge of German at the front desk were very good. Differently it looked for example at the pool bar and at the beach bar from. You ordered for example a coffee, this was a short time later on the counter slammed. In addition the service a face, with the fear get could. In the main restaurant there were some very nice, sociable join, but also those, you better not after a long drinks asked. Our room would be cleaned daily. Superficially everything was always cleaned. In the corner of the room was however also after a week still the same 'dust bunny'. But good, one could live with it.

Also for the pool applies: not too late. Otherwise it was the chairs. There is furthermore musikdauerbeschallung. The entertainers /entertainers lead all 2 hours a kind of ententanz to a dumb french nursery rhyme on. Very large cinema. On the complex there is a shop, in which one however only the daily newspaper and cigarettes' normal' prices buy can. Everything else is overpriced. We have, on several occasions, tennis played, however are the two places quite run down. The floor is partly and the net didn't deserve that name. In the lobby there are several computer with access to the internet available, however for a fee. A few words to the chairs on the beach: these were partly so filthy, that a normal man only with at least 5 were towels overlay would, not all types of diseases to get. Some guests used these but nevertheless; even without towel... Exactly!

It is a very extensive hotel area with several buildings. The complex is in a well-kept and clean state. On closer look at you know however, that the complex already some years on the embossment. On site the hotel with 5 stars advertised. US was by the previous reviews known, that here also Russian guests have a vacation. We have stayed in hotels without Russian guests. We dachen us, so badly it can not become; but it was worse. The Russian guests are clearly stated in the majority. And all the stereotypes, we have heard, have been confirmed. Mother Olga is at the buffet of course not in the queue in front of the grill, why, it is much faster, if you are ahead dazwischenpresst. Grandma Svetlana is an exercise in the meantime with the stack of as many cream cakes possible small their pouches. 6 or 7 piece should already draufpassen. And if times a piece of falls down; scheißegal, is someone to get rid of. Dad Igor whereas had already at o'clock lunch about 4 thousand in the blood and talking loudly all the guests to the pool. Everywhere will hingeweisen, that men for dinner should wear long trousers. Three times-jusy keep your advise, who in bermunda -shorts and ax shirt aufkreuzte... Really! Even the present English were partly annoyed by so much outrage. And this is what hot.

The hotel is about kilometers away from the airport. We had just from airport a rental car, which in the location of the hotel also urgently recommendable is. The village Roda is easy to reach on foot, after 30 minutes one has however already everything in this hole saw. In the nearest village it is not different. There is merely a few junk or shoe shops and some pubs. The best was, that the shops partly already at o'clock had closed. We drove therefore several times to Corfu-city, in evenings a beautiful stroll through the city. To the hotel has its own beach. This is partly so narrow, that merely 2 sunbeds in a row fit. Especially clean were neither the water the sand. Furthermore one must already early in the morning are, because otherwise are available loungers already occupied or reserved. In the area there are a lot of more beautiful beaches, prerequisite is, that you is mobile.

Everything ok. However the safe costs 20€ per week what we rude and nevertheless paid. The mini bar contains limo, water and beer and unfortunately only every 2 days refilled. Telephones did not function not so as already described. The air conditioning was quite loud. The rooms are with master key equipped, that means the electricity is completely, if one the key, (the fridge). We found somewhat a pity.

There is a main restaurant in buffet style. The food made the whole time a right new impression and it tasted good to us. The kitchen is as you would expect more meat annoying, but there are also fish, vegetables and salads. Nice the selection of fresh fruit. Cleanliness and hygiene were ok. In addition there are three à la carte restaurant ( greek, Italian, chinese). We have only the Italian try it. It was great. Really unpleasant however the following points: The waiters almost without exception the (until then clean glasses) above the edge touched at this on the table -which we personally find not nice. - in the main restaurant it is very loud (you can if you are on a relatively small square table sits four not really converse without loud talking). - if the volume want to miss you can with a bit of luck or patience a table on the balcony get, there, there are depending on time of day instead wasps or flies. - for our taste there was also unfortunately too many screaming children. - the clearing away of plates usually long and not always were the tables completely set (full cutlery) - the waiters seemed actually always stressed. - the whole massive dining room is lined with air-conditioning devices, so that one actually always okay-we have sweaters or jackets with to eat taken.

The staff are not always friendly-what according to travel guide not unusual is however nevertheless sometimes irritating. However there are many languages spoken - many speak German or English or french or even Russian. ( here a few greek words to learn is difficult). The cleaning of the rooms is ok, there is a hotel laundry service, a doctor in the house and child care ( we did however nothing tried). Unfortunately is, that, although the hotel's own binder is no free of charge wi-fi in the lobby and that the phones in the room not work well (we have not succeeded in another room, in the friends of us experienced were, to call). Unfortunately also, that you in the 3 à la carte restaurant three days in advance reserve must and that a not very polite at the front desk admits one gives.

There was 2 pools ( the 2. We didn't use). It is salt water pool not heated-which really nice was. Most of the time we were at the beach. There, there are 2 bouleplätze, a beach volley field and a few pedal boats and canoe from the hotel, cost nothing. The sea was very warm and quite clean apart from the seaweed. The beach is a fairly narrow beach but ok. There are actually always enough chairs and umbrellas from the hotel ( so free). All couple meters there are also showers. The entertainment program did not respond to us, but we were on a kabarettabend the program and also well amused. There is a shop in which you got everything that you need. Furthermore, there were 2 gift shops. There is a kids club (at least we have the seen). Disco there was (probably ) evenings after the entertainment program at the beach. ( no noise at all for the rest of the visitors which is pleasant) but we were not. Internet there is, is however subject to a charge. If you short free wi-fi want you can also to Roda walking, as in a cafe drink a frappe and short with the smartphone to the net.

The hotel complex is huge, has a soccer- and 2 tennis courts, a shop in which one gets everything and a spa-the latter is of course subject to a charge, the rest is free ( however you have to rent a place reserve. Decor and cleanliness are rather good. It is a all inclusive hotel. Guest structure: french, English, russians, German - actually everything but pleasantly mixed. Average age: difficult to say, as from young families with small and infants up to retirees everything was there ( however between the two aforementioned groups not much, that means less young couple).

The hotel is directly at the beach with private loungers and umbrellas, of which we have actually always got. The transfer to the airport takes a good hour, depending on how many other hotels on the island on the route. The small village Roda the on foot at the beach along is easy to reach, offers a few small shops, the suntan creams about sunglasses and postcards to souvenirs (olive products or liquor) actually have everything. The prices are on a tourist place adjusted. Excursions there was next to the tour operator offered little, but if you a car rents you can a few beautiful sights on the island explore.

Our room was not huge, but sufficient large. The bathroom was in the proportion to the room very big dimensioned. The cleaning of the rooms worked perfectly.

We really liked the food, it was very much freshly prepared, the food has itself however after a week repeatedly.

The beginning in the hotel was not very promising (seemed bored and in its peace of us), but we are only against midnight in the hotel arrived. Afterwards but a great service offered (have flowers for my wife organized, and everything in the Italian prepared).

The beach is very flat. Loungers and umbrella are at the beach and at the pool sufficiently available, if you however certain loungers wanted you had to very early reserve. At the beach is Mando an enrichment, for the pedal boats and kayaking undelegated, it is always in a good mood and josh mood.

The hotel is huge, however not too big. The whole hotel was very clean and well cared for. As already very many have commented, is the majority of of the guests from England, France and Russia, what but not negative noticed.

The hotel lies slightly off the beaten track. However at the beach along it is about 1 kilometer to Roda. For shopping for details the supermarket at the beach, as he almost half the cheaper than the in the hotel.

We had superior -room with a view of the sea booked and were very satisfied. The room has a pleasant size, the furnishing is very nice and the bed very comfortable. Also the bath is to praise. View of the sea was really view of the sea - we head on the wide sea looked :-) air conditioning is available, hair dryer, mini bar ( is in all-inclusive with us). The house is merely very badly soundproofed - who late evenings your peace wants, should be a sharing -pool room book, since each with a private entrance. The safe you can rent. A small downside is the mini -tv. As you however also not to the tv look to Corfu fly, there are nevertheless the full score :-)

There is a main restaurant and three theme restaurants ( greek, Italian, chinese) The main restaurant is huge but nevertheless lovingly decorated. A seat one has always gotten without have to wait. It was always clean ( tablecloths according to each guest at the table changed ) and the food was very tastefully and always recovered. Drinks are with the staff ordered and in a short period of time brought to the table. Dirty dishes were directly cleared so that you room again for the next course has :-)

The staff we encountered always friendly. At reception there was always someone who to find. Each staff understood wonderful English and alone at reception sprachen 3 staff also spoke fluent German. Questions were at any time gladly and friendly answered. The cleaning of the rooms is best to praise. Every day was everything is great and the cleaners were always friendly. Small faults were taken care of immediately. The pool was always clean.

The hotel has a large main pool and many sharing -pools. Unfortunately this is all salt water pool -that makes the eyes of the diving. A water slide is available, as well as several small slides for children and a children's pool. Chairs were at any time of the day always enough available. The pool was also never crowded. The beach is very narrow but beautifully designed. animationsamgebote there was the whole day ( family games, sporting activities, evening agenda) Access to the internet is of good quality and costs about 2 €for 20 minutes

The Mitsis is a modern and very clean, large (500 room) hotel in a wonderful green area. A large pool area, as well as numerous blumenprachten, make the hotel complex a special treat for the eyes. The beach is right in front of the door. The hotel we have booked all inclusive and were very satisfied. The food was varied and very tasty. Since the dining room is very big, you get from the staff a table assigned. But you can sitzplatzwünsche the then 99% always taken into account. German were rather a special case on the complex. Mainly English and russians. But since they know how you in such a complex behave, the disturbed nobody.

The hotel is rather somewhat isolated however therefor directly on the hotel's own sandy beach. At the beach along you are on foot in 10 minute in Roda where one comfortably between taverns and small stores could go for a stroll. The next city ( acharavi) is 3.5 kilometer away and on foot in half an hour to reach. The hotel is beautiful peacefully located so you are not on the day still at night of noise from the street harassed. So perfect if you have a quiet and relaxing vacation to spend wants.

The booked room - as long as you get it-is nicely furnished. Uniform furniture, bathroom with bathtub, air conditioning, balcony, mini bar, telephone, satellite -tv-( could be more spacious and more program receive ), safe only for a fee.

In the main restaurant always very good. Countless possibilities in all-inclusive to feast, always fresh and very good - and typical of the country, but also international. Cleanliness and courtesy also excellent. In the theme restaurants ( specially bad experience with the greek) falls the quality against from.

The rather bad review results only by the staff at reception - it is rude to the square, were for 2 nights without explanation in worse room and only by solid complaint the booked received. Complain the best not at all. German is understood not by all staff inside at the front desk spoken. dahingegend are the staff inside of the restaurant, the bars and the maid service too many polite. Cleaning of the rooms perfect.

Pool area very nice, loungers by the pool always available, at the beach sometimes -, although forbidden by English already 'reserved'. Cleanliness of the pool excellent, different areas available. Animation, disco etc. Also available, who likes it. Shops in small hotel shop. Access to the internet not free!

Big hotel directly in the north west coast at the beach. Room in general very nice and dedicated maid service immaculate. Services in our case all inclusive international audience, mainly french-very noisy, English, German, russians.

Located directly at the beach, next place in circa 15 minutes away by foot reachable. Transfer to the airport direct approximately 45 to 60 minutes - depending on traffic. Shops in Roda city. Excursions from some operators.

Room tight four of us, but as far as good condition, were cleaned daily, maid service very friendly.

The food was for the large number of guests good, there were always fresh salad, also a good selection for mäkelnde teenagers and vegetarians. Delicious desserts. The issues -restaurants were rather disappointing, selection very limited, since we were rather in the main restaurant.

The staff at reception so far is authentic, in the main restaurant it is a catastrophe, the waiters converse together, a second coffee was in the morning often not possible, because we just left. Certainly, there was here and there a positive exception, but for 4.5 stars is not here. A great shame!

Hotel is very large 500 room, room ( we had a superior -family room) rather too small for 4 persons. Complex clean and tidy. Booked all inclusive. The drinking water is very chlorinated, so not enjoyable.

The hotel is very remote right on the gently sloping sandy beach, so, ideal for peace searching, evenings the usual animation ( mini disco, etc.)

Our double room with extra bed was quite nice. In the main building in a long hallway location. There echoed of course everything. Particularly the children, which still late evenings on the corridor shouting or race. This is then in the bungalows probably much pleasant. Apart from that nice furnished and intact. Small tv but it did the trick as well as the fridge. Great service. Drinks as al were every day refilled. Absolutely great, without chlortaste. Safe costs unfortunately 40 €for two weeks. Air conditioning unfortunately without remote control. So always get up to and unwind. Somewhat annoying, if it nevertheless too loud or cold. Balcony with large beautiful shutters and rattanstühlen. Small but sweet. All in all good, clean state. Bath big enough and bright even without window. Everything was tiled - no carpet. The was great.

The number of bars and restaurants is sufficient for the number of guests. Well distributed. The restaurant to the breakfast, lunch and dinner. A main bar, which almost the whole day was open in the lobby, a pool bar with snacks, a beach bar with snacks, like at the beach bar and melons, also to evening with ice. At the beach bar in addition, small pastries, and small pizzas, hot dogs, rolls with ham, cheese, salad and pastry. The snack helps on the day,,, if you are not a rich lunch want to. We found adequate. Were certain skewers or fries also not bad been, but the large food you'll find in the main restaurant. Furthermore, the three à la carte restaurant for lunch or dinner. We stayed at the Italian and chinese dining. The Italian with frutti de mare... Very delicious! Chinese good, but different as in Germany. The greeks we didn't extra attended, because the food in H. rest. Completely sufficient.

Great! Always friendly and concerned. There we could no complaints. Additional service we didn't use. Everyday the rooms were complete with händtüchern and bed sheets cleaned respectively changed. Also here we had nothing to complain about. But they gave gladly times a daily tip.

Activities we didn't use it. Two excursions over TUI booked. 1 time Corfu in light of the lanterns-with a small boat cruise and 1 times island tour with castle Sissi, bella vista, closter visit and many more this think we liked it better. Also the tour operator was perfect. On a rental car, we this time because of the road conditions and narrow pass. Shops very limited. A store with all kinds of-quite expensive. Few meters at the beach along direction Roda... Here better price. Apart from that continue to Roda. Fitness unfortunately not available. Are no, but a treadmill would have been nice. Beach and pool very clean. Is cleaned daily. The sand we raked. The toilet facilities are constantly cleaned. In addition there are also changing rooms. Simply, but tiled and dry. Showers at the beach and at the pool available. Internet corner with about 10 computer in the main building centrally located. Towels for deposit. A 20 Euro. However, you can again and again change. Check out there is the previously bekommene card with the händtüchern back and the money is a again faithful.

Very nice hotel, clean and well arranged. Time enough room to sit in the evening. Al package was absolutely right. For every meal time everything your heart desires - absolutely plenty of choice from crepes, waffles over fruit, ice, salads, cold and hot buffet or pizza respectively freshly prepared pasta and so on and so on we had nothing to complain. vergl. Stars hotels we know also much much worse. Strong praise... However the beverages with chlorzusatz are really not suitable. Our only minus. Tastes you really everywhere. German apart from that hardly zählbar. Very lots of russians, french or English.

Unfortunately somewhat off the beaten track. At the beach along to around 10 minutes away on foot you are in Roda and has a small village for an evening stroll, again or bus- respectively taxi connection. In front of the hotel itself there is nothing at all. But a little movement does also really good. Wanted to take a taxi in the hotel order. But these were all with trips to the airport fully booked. Waiting time about 1 hour The beach was right on the hotel. Flat, sandy and well to the walk in. Sun screens with chairs in two rows. Therefore very pleasant. Better than the loud and full, chlorinated pool. But everyone, as he liked. We were just at the beach. Unfortunately one must really very early reserve. We noticed immediately. Without it is not. Who comes too late, get but no more space. So alarm clock and as a team the loungers reserve. Is unfortunately a great shame. Despite signs-but this is now times no.
