Nice, clean and well-kept complex with a lot of green. Rooms are spacious and tastefully simply furnished. Room cleaning was always top! We had the half board. Breakfast and dinner varied and good. The hotel is in our opinion for couples very suitable. Nationalities very mixed. read more

The hotel surroundings, garden are absolutely beautiful, each corner is full of plants, flowers, everything well taken care. I found it very cosy all these small yards, corners, stairs, etc. '
I was having holiday with my baby, so our needs for playground were not there yet. Travellers with larger children should consider that this hotel doesn't have a big playground, the rocky beach is also not for small children at all. Few hundred meters away are non-rocky public beaches.
Food selection for dinners was big and different from evening to evening, everything tasted well, a good optional selection of ... Greek national dishes. Breakfast buffet was not that rich, but you can find something suitable to eat, - that's not a question.
Rooms are big and very clean, but quite simple. For those who prefer more luxury the hotel offer rooms with private pools, etc. Looks really cool.
Personnel people are very friendly and very helpful and very hungry for tips-))
I believe October is perfect time to stay at that hotel as well as visit Kreta, because there is no that many people, things are much more relaxed, the weather and the sea are still warm and wonderful.
All in all, I had a great week, I was satisfied with the hotel and I would come back again. read more

A very nice vacation with a wonderful area and very friendly and accommodating staff.
The food was good quality with a reasonable but not excessive choice.
In the hotel complex there was a small shop with drinks, sweets and souvenirs suitable prices. Directly in front of the hotel was a beautiful small beach with clear water. The hotel has a peaceful location a bit outside of the town (circa 15-20 minutes on foot).
Overall, there were no flaws! read more

Wonderful hotel with great beach and very friendly staff.
Our room was very clean and very nice, with Cretan style.
There was a pool on our balcony. The water was very clean.
The food in the snack bar was surprisingly, I had the best Carbonara pasta in my lifetime.
We rented a car and drove around. Kreta is quite big for one week visit. Next time we will for 2 weeks to plan. read more

Nice located and nicely built, outside clean facilities. Many beautiful flowers and shrubs.
Food maximum three stars, too few variety. Tomatoes ( very good!), melons ( very good!), tomatoes, melons, tomatoes.
Bread knives cut not!
Observed: a employee the cutlery on the ESS-side aufetischt, instead of to the handles! However staff are 90% very friendly, excluding Putzeqippe.
Jam: jelly green, jelly, yellow, jelly blue, and so on. We had the feeling, it's not jam but what artificial. Positive: varied breads.
Who noise from the planes-are sensitive should the complex avoid. The jets fly landing directly about the hotel. I think ... there are about 100 flights in the day. Once I 2 arrival flights at 03:40 o'clock belongs. Normaleweise begin the flights after about 6 hours and end against midnight. It didn't bother us.

Who not only a pure beach vacation would like to, but also culturally want to see, is on Kreta just perfect! The hotel complex of the Hersonissos Maris is by the individual ' bungalows' very quiet and really well looked after and therefore for couples also suited! The beach is not too big, but you can always find a spot, even without extra a couch for rent! The island offers some sights, therefore it is recommendable itself to rent a car. The stay in the hotel was very pleasant and our wishes were immediately cared for! The pool' s were ... unfortunately very quickly over-crowded, the beach offers but a much more beautiful sea view and on the island. Through the regions in chersonissos you get from the Partymarathon in the center nothing and can decide, whether party or relaxation. For our first stay in Greece it was a successful vacation overall. read more

The Hersonissos Maris is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the centre from Hersonissos. It consists of several buildings ( front desk, rooms, bar, beach bar, dining room, 2 pool areas, kiosk).
It has a variety of room-guys ( with private -pool, with a pool for up to 8 room and without pool). We had a room with a pool for 8 rooms. The room was spacious, bathroom with bathtub& shower, air conditioning and tv (3 German channels). On the balcony you could in the pool rise. Was still quite cool. The room was somewhat badly soundproofed. Especially morning ... it was quickly loud. But we had luckily quiet neighbors. The rooms were daily washed and there were fresh towels.
The beach was very near the hotel. Between hotel and beach & hotel-beach bar is only a small access road. Here it from time to time a little traffic. Disturbed it but not. The' hotel-beach' is not huge. Friends from large sandy beaches are not happy. Has many rock. In addition but also always surfaces with fine Pebble beach. The water is very clean and clear. Thanks to the rocks is good for snorkeling. One sees small and larger fish and crabs. Left and right from the hotel ( approximately 200 meters) it has greater standabschnitte. Loungers & sun screens costs between 5 and 8 Euro.
Dinner is served in the large dining room with a large veranda. Breakfast buffet was very okay. The dinner there were also as a buffet. Here there were different dishes available. The Verandaplätze are desired.
Free -internet around the front desk ( bar, beach bar). Is not super fast but the emails it was enough completely.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hersonissos is as mentioned above, somewhat outside. The road leads around another hotel complex rum. In Hersonissos there are many bars and restaurant. Here you can also jet skis rent or for boating login. read more

A hotel, which completely on animation declined ( in my opinion positive). International guests, whereby German rather a minority. The communication with the staff is possible (sometimes in German or English). The hotel is located somewhat away of the town, what with the quiet atmosphere adds. The village center is necessary within 15 to 20 minutes to reach. The hotel offers everything, what a relaxing vacation is necessary. read more

The hotel complex is located directly at the beach. Pleasant staff, good food, sufficient room (a bit noisy ), beautiful pools, nice bar, very clean sea water. Overall we were very satisfied. However one must with a high Share to Russians in the hotel complex and general in the surrounding area. A little one the feeling, this preferential treatment. read more

Beautiful clean hotel about 15 minutes on foot away of chersonissos. The way after chersonissos is easy to find, who however somewhat closer to the happening and also still a bit chic want to stay, I would perhaps another hotel recommend ( for example Kreta Maris).
Unfortunately the bays in front of the hotel very stony. The two pools but really very nice and not crowded. In the direct vicinity of the hotel there are some bars and small shops. In chersonissos itself you will find that many bars, restaurants and shops. Of course, the city touristic, but I found ... it nevertheless as very pleasant. The shopping street was never crowded and the Greeks very friendly.
The food in the hotel was OK - delicious and varied, but after two weeks quite consistently. The dining room sometimes unfortunately somewhat crowded, so that you also had to wait a few minutes, to get a table on the veranda to get. In the hotel itself there was a small shop in which one Postcards, newspapers, drinks and snacks buy can. This is definitely recommendable. A very nice Assistant and price as in the supermarket.
We had us still a rental car and so the island explored - by all means recommendable are the island Spinalonga, the Lashiti -plateau and the Crete aquarium. read more

We had despite last-minute booking a wonderful, quiet balcony room with a view of the sea and sunrise. The room was always tip top cleaned ( tip from the beginning of our stay). Small signs of wear in the bathroom were available, didn't bother us. The bed was unfortunately much.
Our room was away from the main highway the hotel, it was very quiet and a short walk (5 minutes) does not harm after eating. This was excellent in buffet form. Everything your heart desires for breakfast ( tea, coffee, choco, milk, yoghurt, fruit, muesli, cakes, different egg variations, sausage ..., bacon, sheep cheeses, different types of bread and pastries, etc.) and during dinner ( meat, fish, vegetables, side dishes, at least 12 different salads, desserts and fresh fruit, ice, and so on). The staff were very hard-working and friendly.
General was the cleanliness in all areas excellent. The swimming pool was very clean and always a free spot. The beach is rocky, but with sandy enter in in a very clean sea. Also again and again small bays with 2 chairs( for a fee). Small supermarkets with fresh fruits were completely nearby, also the German car rental 5 minutes from the hotel away, is recommendable and cheap (€65, - for 3 days). The place Hersonissos is in 15 minutes hike reachable, for all those parties need.
For 2,50 Euro/ person we also once a breakfast to the room serving leave, we have on our balcony the morning started, lovely! It was all around a wonderful Kreta vacation! read more

We were looking for a hotel, which is also private pools in the room offered. Hersonissos Maris in we find. The suite was really great private pool with terrace and lounge chairs, small table and chairs, fireplace, LCD tv, mini kitchen, piped music, air conditioning with remote control, free safe, small bathroom with shower, fresh flowers, wine, water and fruit basket in the lower floor, bedroom, LCD tv, air conditioning with remote control, a large bathroom with jacuzzi and a balcony on the upper floor. As a starting point for those eastern part of the island. Rental car could usually ... be parked right in front of the hotel. read more

Hotel was good, staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Visitors were multi-multicultural in 08/2011 but mostly French. The only drawback was a cats troubles; many of these animals were during breakfast, lunch, and dinner constantly päsent, crept around and under the tables around, were partly even on the tables, were constantly begging. It was more than annoying. read more

I can understand the many good ratings not at all. We had to leave the recommendations and were left. We had a room with furniture from the 70-Ger years. The air conditioning dripped. When we ask for a different room we were not heard. Only when we left the next day tours from the travel guide I have contacted, the was very unfriendly, we got another room in the house. This room was much better. A lot of nerve, such rooms with four star apply. The breakfast was always the same and not good. The check-in process was easy. The ... entertainment was only in French. The beach was full of rocks and small was a bit away, the man was aufgestüttet, was full of seaweeds. Also not cleared away. Therefor you should pay money for beach chairs and umbrella. For a beach holiday not recommended at all. Crete is very nice, an in any case rent a car and go there. The hotel is definitely not worth four stars. Two/three maximum so if you want to have a nice beach holiday with a beautiful beach and good meal to have would like, will not be happy. read more

Beach too small for the size of Hotel (especially on the weekend). Otherwise, good price/performance ratio. Find everything you want. Children's playground and care was not used as it is not rated. The towels were changed every day, bed linen every 3 days about.
Very quiet hotel with very relaxing for those who like it quiet.

We had a very nice and relaxing beach holiday on Crete. For us was relaxation in the foreground and the Heronissos Maris we have received. But if you're on a party vacation from, would certainly be with another hotel right in Heronissos better advised.
The hotel is located directly on the beach (rock and sand). In the hotel there were mostly French pensioners, so not the place for children by Michael.
The food was good. The breakfast buffet could have been a little short side.
The staff was always friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean and nice. beware of ... room 132, this is located right on the abluftanlage the kitchen. We could exchange the room however problem-free.
The hotel I would definitely recommend. read more
