The falkensteiner is a very pleasant and well situated hotel for a city break in bratislava. The historic part is in walking distance, the breakfast buffet is sufficient stocked (until 10:30) and the standard rooms have a pleasant size and a large bathroom. All at a appropriate price. We will go there again and it is not often. read more

Due to its central location, the hotel is a ideal starting point for a short business trip or city trip. The hotel is right on the main street in the middle a tourist area opposite the old town (five minutes) and is for a one time vacation not ideally located. read more

Where falkensteiner tin, must not falkensteiner tommorow! Is absolutely not the standard an Austrian Falkensteiners! Were surprised, that the hotel here so good reviews has received, we would not recommend it. No garage, no Wi-Fi -everything costs extra and much. Service is lousy, general the hotel appears to be worn, especially from the outside not beautifully, inside everything very dark. read more

    Very small room, no internet/ Wi-Fi, only against payment ( 3 euros,-per hour). Good bathroom, but upon arrival we had only 1 bathrobe and 1 towel. There is only hair dryer and soap in the bathroom, everything other (shampoo, Body lotion) you must take itself, don't forget!

    As mentioned, the breakfast is not recommendable. Better in the old town in a nice café go! The 'hot' things in the hotel are all only lukewarm, the scrambled eggs really horrible, watery, bland and lukewarm- yuck! Pancakes were cold, sausage and vegetables are cold. Only the freshly prepared Ham & eggs are OK, but also unseasoned and carelessly prepared. Coffee is not at all well, better DTE drink!

    Extremely bad service for breakfast, it whiz some very young waiter and waitresses around, but you will not even after coffee asked. One must be fast, if you have a to remain with the clearing is the staff also neglectful, takes a long time. Only shortly before 10:00, if the breakfast ends, all actively and immediately everything away and rotate the light from. So, if you 10 to 10 comes, is ill-advised. The service is also a disaster. If you until 11:00 the' please do not disturb Sign on the door, the rooms were not cleaned. One noticed however, that someone in the room was, because the pay mineral water Bottle (around 3,50 euros) where an new exchanged and written on the bill, but the dirty table-ware should stand, the trash bin remains fully, the beds unmade and the beach towels wet. Service is a joke! Only at the front desk the staff were hard and competent. On arrival was in the room everything only for 1 person presented, although for 2 booked. Thus only 1 bathrobe and only beach towels for 1 person.

    Fitness center and spa is the highlight in the hotel. Town center no visible staff, but it works everything clean and tidy, plentiful fresh towels, a good (although etxrem hot) steam bath and the best: a great view from the peace room on the castle great thing in the evening! Spa has until 23:00 is, also fine. Is on the highest floor, access with the room card.

    Central location, but also right on the main street very loud and lots of exhaust fumes. The castle right around the corner, however, you can only from the top floor (spa & executive lounge) see. One must only over the street and right in the old town, approximately 20 minutes on foot from the Danube. 10 minutes you will need up to the castle. The train station best reached with the bus line 93, is in 5 minutes there, on foot about 30 minutes

I endorse the previous on: the hotel is super, price-performance-money, old town almost directly in front of the door, very suitable for a city trip. And... The parking garage is ridiculously expensive, in the second night we left the car outside not far of the hotel, and it is nothing happened ☺ read more

The hotel is reasonably priced and with those features a Top Hotel. The staff is friendly, great bar and the staff is very friendly and everything was clean. The food is excellent and plentiful as it is a buffet. A lack there was only-you have to get drinks at dinner at the bar. I went about .30 people and the only 1 staff served us. It is therefore right time 20 minutes and one that is not acceptable. Otherwise, the hotel is only to be recommended and I will definitely be back. read more

Since we had a package deal activities, this stay was a bargain. The room exceeded our expectations by far. The location is good for a city break. The rooms are spacious, stylish furnished and very clean. The same goes for the bathroom. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is pleasantly quiet. A special thanks to the staff at the front desk. After a theft in the heart of the city was very helpful to us (contact with the police, interpreting, practical tips...)! THANK YOU! read more

Very clean reception and lobby area. Friendly bilingual staff. Breakfast was phenomenal! So much choice and so delicious! Room was upgraded to a suite by a friend, this was a huge surprise but a fantastic one! The room was huge and so comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge! The lounge area, though not used too much as we were extremely busy whilst there, was an added bonus. Much wardrobe and cupboard space....overall a beautiful room!! read more

    Staff were very friendly and helpful! Spoke various languages so being typical English, this was extremely welcomed! The room cleaning was fast but thorough and the cleaning staff were very polite too.

    Although the weather wasn't as we had expected it to be in July, raining, the surrounding area was picturesque! Only a 20 min or less journey from the airport in a taxi too. Was going to cross the Danube on a boat on our last day, but due to a problem with the boats, this unfortunately wasnt possible.

We really liked the hotel.! The breakfast was very good with a huge large selection( even with caviar, sparkling wine and so on, not just standard fare). Only negative points-parking garage of the hotel costs extra( at the weekends 18 €for two hour). I would have been a four stars Hotel. To boot, since it is only at the edge of the city center and not directly inside. A fresh towel had a large (2 palms large) green/blue stain-probably not facing fluid which at the wash. General, the hotel is in top condition (there were still not provided). The ... cocktail bar is highly recommended! read more

My room service was largely ignored. Eg:( No clean towels, Bed not made) Problem was brought to the attention of the front desk the first night and was solved. Problem occured again the following night. I will not book again at this hotel or any affiliate hotels. read more

    The rooms are friendly and modern decor and big enough. It was a cloakroom for jackets, a closet, a table, a bank and a stool with glass-top table and a large (very, very cozy) bed, safe, TV, air conditioning, mini bar, coffee/tea making facilities available. The bathroom was large and comfortable. We had a bath and a lot of counter space and a large mirror (also a well-functioning hair dryer is available). Oh yeah, and important for the ladies: a large full length mirrors :)

    There was a dining room and a bar. Bar prices should be ok (we didn't use it). We booked the room incl. breakfast. The breakfast was very delicious and varied. There were different granolas, rolls, breads, cakes, various meats, cheeses, fruit salad, fresh fruits, sliced fruits, jam, Nutella, margarine, butter, peppers, etc and even * g * . The plates were always cleared quickly and coffee was brought to the table. The dining room was very inviting and comfortable.

    The staff was mostly very friendly, German as well as English spoken. The room cleaning during our stay we can't say, while we were in the room, the cleaning lady wanted to. We only change your towels. Additional service, we didn't use it.

    The hotel is quiet, but central. The boat dock (TwinCityLiner) and the bus stop "Novy Most" is about 10 to 15 minutes. In the old town is also about 10 minutes. A bus stop is also right in front of the hotel. We booked this but not necessary, as we always walked to the city or shopping. There are numerous restaurants, bars and clubs in the surrounding area. A small shopping in the area is also just 5 minutes away on foot. The large shopping center "Aupark" is about 15-20 minutes walking distance.

... A smooth stay: upon check-in, we are unfortunately on a hard-term staff side, the with the travel dates coming. What we also didn't like: The housekeeping staff doesn't knock on the door, but try and the windows belong in need of cleaning. At dusk we could only imagine the Bratislava castle. The hotel is very stylish and modern decor. Right next to the old town and about 1 km to the twin-city-liner-dock. read more
