We were over easter there and the building was fully booked, it was probably not so good.
As it seems, the hotel has two room categories, whereby the worse got.-(
We were on the attic storey and there was zero comfort and it is not a star hotel.
We had to the network pictures oriented, the really great were and were really disappointed at the two classes of society.
To emphasize the extreme friendliness of the entire staff and the restaurant, the very proud of its vegan dishes is. We have but also a really perfect sirloin steak served. ... So is for any taste something for everyone.
The hotel's location is great - right at the Mosel, however, the outside terrible. The whole quayside has beautiful buildings in the typical style of the region, only this hotel reminded rather of a firmengebäude in the industrial area. From the inside however everything is very nice and lovingly decorated.
The pool is way too cold and the water cloudy-therefore it was also not so often visited, as it usually is.
We would not again, because the value for money, at least in our case, was very poor. It is of course possible, that the rooms in the lower floors really great are, but the on the attic storey are terrible.
The question ' would you recommend the hotel?' I ' yes' ticked off, as i believe, that it really is different. read more

Admittedly: if you in front of the hotel is suspect you're not a genuine treasure in its internal is. Alone the atmosphere, the cosiness of the decor and the flair the room (we had deliberately against a comfort room decided) magical us immediately.
We were actually due to the vegan supply in the weinstube arrived, so turned out to be the entire hotel a small oasis of well-being, the hospitality and the relaxation.
In the wine bar allowed we in the evening finally a veganes 4-course surprise menu and we are now still speechless. We have both seriously not remember ... ever so well fed to have. The dishes were really exceptional and this is not exaggerated.
For vegan and vegetarian fully recommendable and for people who the ethnic, 'quaint ', comfortable in a hotel don't want to miss out. read more

An older hotel with creaky floor boards, but with very much charm and space. A bright, large breakfast area, awaits the guests a rich breakfast buffet. The perfect arranged very tasty 3-course menu is offered in the elegant restaurants. A wine bar and a cosy cellar round off the offer. Six adults have the stay when nicolay's very much, some time we spend in the huge swimming pool and in the sauna. We really enjoy the friendly service, appreciate the commitment of the always ansprechbaren juniorchefs, what an excellent chef is. This is he with the new year's eve 6-course ... menu perfectly demonstrated, it was great. Since we can only say, who negative about the food writes, was still not in the hotel. This was our 3. stay in the hotel and we will be back. read more

The revenues christmas-market visit in bernkastel, from the bad kitchen and the incompetence of the service, very verleidet. Dinner after a hour half done and old aufgekochtes serves, breakfast after more than a half hour after and after small portions delivered. read more

This hotel is as a kinder easter egg! From the outside one can hardly imagine, what a expected inside! We were very comfortable there. On the first glance rather a 70. years sin, inside a small gem from 19. century! Who a couple of days to stretch would like and rather value on good food and pleasant atmosphere sets, instead of luxury and glitz, this is at the right address! We would definitely come again! read more

At the Mosel you old. The hotel fits as fully purely. The charm of the hotel is its age, creaky floors and stairs. Carpets, wallpapers and pictures the already Kaiser Wilhelm saw. A lift the more than 2 persons not coped with. We had a standard room with a balcony and river view. The view was great, however the balcony was not suitable for to stay. The room was clean and for 2a 3 days enough. The bathroom was large but very in need of an overhaul. The breakfast had the character as in a youth hostel. The staff were ... without exception cooperative and very friendly.
All together for someone no expectations represents a good hotel. read more

A somewhat older dusty hotel. Bathroom very musty smell and also the room smelled very musty. Room to the street very noisy as road to go. Loud room description should a mini bar be there but we have not found a paper waste bin in the room wouldn't be bad. Service in the restaurant not very good. We had to repeatedly wait a long time until the order has been. Kitchen tried something challenging to conjure up but failed. Chef should maybe on-Earth dishes focus on. The offered massages by Friday Lupp were excellent relaxing, you can highly recommend. read more

The hotel has a very great location, it is located right at the Mosel. From the nearby boat stop you can beautiful ship routes after Bernkastel undertake.
The room was huge and had on the balcony
a nice view on the Mosel.

The hotel is but arg ageing. The senior boss was remarkably unfriendly and absolutely rude. On the next day he had however again a little caught, so that the service at least was bearable. read more

We were with our room happy, although it is a little old-fashioned and it was the cheapest category corresponded. The rooms a category higher were renovated and our friends had a room on the top floor with a balcony and Bkick on the Mosel. Here no wishes remained open. read more

Lovely stay in this informally run hotel. The breakfast buffet rich. Restaurant card many specialties from the region in good quality. Room decor simple but clean with a big balcony ( view of the Mosel). The charm the sixties the the hotel ausstrahl really appealed to us. Sauna and swimming pool free to use. read more

Very old and shabby hotel, mattresses for intervertebral discs an impertinence
