the room of the three star hotels ( four stars would be attached) spread across different level and parts of building, the everywhere very clean and attractive. We had a double room with breakfast booked. The perfect breakfast the Halbuntergeschoss taken. The room is with a view of a lateral canal of the Canale Grande. The hotel belongs to the best Western group; so to our time also International many nations represented. Since we carnival were there, was the hotel with Venetian Masks and Karnevalschmuck nice decorated. It is on the roof a small balcony, at our previous visit in ... the summer, this time in February but not used have. read more

Right next to the church of St. Giglio, a Steinwurfe from the opera House San Felice and about a five minute walk to St. Mark's square. What else could you want. Top: lived hospitality, breakfast buffet, cleanliness, everything was newly renovated, the price-performance ratio, flop: partly somewhat small room read more

Very good location in the middle of Venice, newly renovated guest rooms with beautiful bathrooms, friendly, helpful staff. And above all: it was the best breakfast, which we have ever had in Italy, with real, not extended scrambled eggs, ham real (no press ham), great Italian salami and a very large selection of everything, you could wish for. Another plus: functioning express wireless internet for the absolute bargain price: a euro per 24 hour (!). At any time gladly again! read more

We, 56 and 52, had the Deluxe room. Antique furniture, old ceilings painting and very quiet for Channel located. Breakfast was great, everything was fresh, cake, different rolls and bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausage and cheese, coffee, tea, and juices. Only ten minutes walk from the alilaguna station San Marco, 1 minute walk to the vaporetto San Giglio. We'll be back! read more

The hotel is for a city trip in the historic Venice highly recommended. The hotel looks from the outside a bit run-down (like 99% all houses and hotels in the old Venice, this hotel was a good example of the really good facade) but from the inside it was top notch. All furniture in the room as the public areas were in the old style but still quite new. The whole hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly, although usually only in English Approachable. The breakfast was for Italian conditions great selection and quality. As everyone should be ... able to find something for a perfect start in the day. The room cleaning service was in the rooms which twice a day and so the room was always clean. The location of the hotel is great for a trip to Venice-ten minute walk to the Marcus place, lots of restaurants nearby, as well as a vaporetto station can be reached in 30 SEK. read more

The hotel was by longer-term advance very cheap, the short run, it is usually not very cheap. The rooms are reasonable, the breakfast is very rich (also warm dishes such as scrambled egg) and good. To the Markusplatz you go only a couple of minutes. read more

A clean hotel with good breakfast buffet with rich offer average, for each taste something thereby be where needed.
Our room was small, but functional with view on a canal with gondoliers the singing on the the cable went. The staff at the reception was very friendly, but rather reserved but friendly. The staff I would describe as unfriendly. This is us in Venice at all noticeable. You apparently not on regular means, but tourists on the wahrescheinlich -only 1 twice in the life to visit Venice, we had the impression, that one was also dealt with accordingly. The catering ... trade in the proximity of the hotel was quite expensive. Then we have noted, that on the other side of the canal to some cheaper food already Grandes could. The evening way back to the hotel over the bridge of the Grand Canal was a tremendous Grandes at the end of the day. Venice at night! read more

I would go back to this hotel again as it is very Central. All attractions are within easy walking distance to Venice to reach. Also the breakfast buffet was very good and perfectly adequate.
What we found was the bit of a shame that the staff was not friendly and courteous. All the front desk/reception before! read more

Great location, nice decoration, friendly staff, small but nice room, large bathroom, very clean, surprising breakfast-all in all a great hotel, the actually four star rating. Still a few tips for Venice added: the Sonderführung in the doge's palace, with the gondola on the Grand Canal (50 cents!)-directly from the square in front of the hotel possible! In the evening at the Campo Santa Margherita, to eight in the morning on the Piazza San Marco, restaurant La Profeta near Barnaba. read more

Very good location-clean-not room 103 take archived

The location of the hotel could not better be.
Unfortunately we had to get the luck, the room 103. If you open the window, you will have a look on the about 1M away wall of its neighbors, which gives the impression of a medieval prison. One is forced to turn on the light lunch also, since otherwise the hand not before eye contact. The breakfast-we have always to 10:00 a.m. breakfast-sausage was with age, old cheese, cold and not cooked scrambled indedible coffee very appetizing. If this is due to the late time was, we know not. ... Only the bowl with fresh fruit and good orange juice from the machine was checked to mention here.
Conclusion: it is a lot of nerve such room to rent. read more

If you want to stay this is with Central hotel great service. Only a two minutes and one is at the Piazza San Marco. From the windows you can see on the channel R. S. Maria de Giglio and can see also something from the Grand Canal. In the evening the gondolas go under the window and it sounds even singing. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The room had enough space and the bathroom was also perfect correct. read more

We love Venice and were 2005 at the hotel locanda la Corte, 2008 on the lido hotel panorama and nun 2010 at ALA hotel, room 132-what us clearly a central and quiet location (5 min. to Saint Mark's square), his breakfast, a small bar (quiet) etc., has. Perfect with traghetto-translate museum, and vaporetto station Campo Giglio.
The small bar is nice-on a nightcap after a beautiful day in Venice.
We are 1 hour 10 minutes in from France flew to Marco Polo, with the bus for 3 to Piazzale Roma (15 minutes) and drove to 25 minutes walk to the ... hotel. Could have taken a vaporetto also, but it a great walk!
We will come again, I am sure. read more

The few negative short introdution: at the moment (march 10) construction noise during the day due to renovations inside (can be a but also abgeschl.). Windows and doors noisy (as in almost every hotel); neighbors had we god no.
Of the Roma piazale you go with the line 1A p. M. D. Giglio and from there is only 100 meters to the hotel (tip for parking: Alipark near the airport (S. Internet) secure, 30 eur/week, shuttle to the airport, bus line five to piazale Roma (in the vaporetto ticket costs, the one on-line before you buy, and can, for ... example, at the airport). The front desk is friendly welcomed, the bags on s brought room (German-speaking. Staff spoke for Muffel available). We had a superior room, small balcony at the back to e. KL. channel, great bathroom with jacuzzi tub/shower, always cleaned clean, good mattresses. The breakfast was for wonderful conditions sumptuously (7:00 until 10:30 very user friendly), for example, fresh fruit salad, many good tea, eggs, several good cold cuts/cheese. 24 hours for two euros Internet available in the hotel. five minutes walk from the Piazza San Marco. Three star not be fooled, it could just as easily have been four star rating.
In general a hotel is within Venice much more pleasant than for example in Mestre (one is faster with museums, churches, islands and in the evening visitors are the away), and in particular we would book this hotel again. read more
