Hotel Novotel Yogyakarta^{(4 stars)}

The Novotel is surrounded by a variety of entertainment and shopping possibilities central in the city. The main shopping street is just a short walk away, the transport links by directly in front of the house, but not at all buzzing main street and, therefore, it was the perfect Yogyas transport to the sights. The staff was very friendly, helpful, competent and attentive at all times the guests. The hotel facilities are in a very well-kept, clean condition, rooms are large, clean and very well equipped. I stayed there as part of a tour three days at the Novotel Yogyakarta. It is a hotel in the middle of the city, in the surroundings (about 300 meters) is home to a wide bank to currency exchange/ ATM and just because a large supermarket. There are also several shopping possibilities you also within walking distance (for example Galeria). The hotel is very well maintained and clean. It has a ( small) pool in a Art courtyard, no garden. I did read something of the air of a sauna, these but not looked. The rooms are modern, spacious and ... clean, but no balcony. 1 German TV program. I had only booked breakfast. There are local specialities Dishes (, rice and so on), but also for Europeans everything ( bread, eggs, Marlmade, fruit). All in all this hotel is highly recommended. read more
