Shelter Hotel Los Angeles^{(3 stars)}

We stayed here at the beginning of our Amerika round trip stayed in. The Room was OK, one noticed that the Hotel somewhat older is, but it newly renovated was (strange odor in the hallway, in the room however everything was clean and the furniture modern). In our room hung however no only picture on the wall and if you window looked acknowledged in the direction other room and looked not stocked all decaying pool. No fridge in the room, however flatscreen tv. The frontdesk was very friendly and gave us the same a few entertainment/food tips. Parking spaces free ... available. About the location: the hotel is in the Korean district, which didn't mean, that you are uncertain or similar feel, but that it almost exclusively Asiatic restaurants finds (what also not bad means, we have here a snack one evening very good food and very friendly served. You will find however except Asian food really almost nothing other locally-you should in my opinion know). Furthermore it is rather east of Allen sights in La, which means, that you evenings always once through the whole city. The transport in LA is from about 17:00 very stressful, everything accumulates and you need forever. Because of the location and the somewhat impersonal, but nevertheless modern facilities we would not again stay, friendliness on location ( in the hotel and the Asians in the area) is however a plus point. read more
