The tour company ewts Köln is exemplary. The hotel more than recommendable, is located in a beautiful garden of palm trees (with water feature). The premises friendly bright, the gartenpool clean, flat screen tv and the lush flower varieties. Since only 79 units, not crowded and noisy.
The staff extremely friendly and attentive. All wishes were fulfilled. With my disease the swiss manager turned on, he was especially nicely helped me.
The food is for thailänische conditions probably expensive, but freshly prepared and tastefully, the unique service.
For a relaxing beach holiday with all around spoil-program the resort is very ... recommendable. read more

Quite beautiful tropical plant really quiet and lonely beach. Some of the double rooms and pool villas in very different variations. 2 pools, one of them very quiet, ideal for relaxing, since only for adults. 2 restaurants, one of them directly at the beach. This unfortunately completely neglected and dirty. 5 different strandmöbelarten are somehow and without recognisable system at the beach. No style and no harmony. read more

The hotel is good run, that staff very friendly and helpful.
However the atmosphere is rather boring, since lots of guests outward for going out to eat and the 2 restaurants little are visited.
The hotel we have because ' the family friendliness' dialed, this however not confirm.
There were few children, but many couples.
The rooms, the garden and the overall impression is very attractive, however the beach a big disappointment. Small, stony and the staff relatively little dedicated.
A shuttle bus after Chanweng will be charged the hotel with 100 Bhat per person instead of it as a ... service to offer.
Recommendable are therefore rather hotels in 'the city', the more variety promised. read more

Great hotel, excellent service. Very relaxing location. Hotel is a little further away from town but well worth going and staying there. Hire a bike or car to get around the island. Hotel staff go out of their way to make your stay very comfortable. read more

The hotel lies in a somewhat remote small bay and is ideal for those looking to relax. It has a wonderful garden area with a Bach and Wassenfällen, through the whole complex attracts. The pool at the sea is large enough at a few Laps, afterwards you can at the pool bar refresh. There was however still another second very quiet pool without children in the garden area. The breakfast is excellent and varied with always fresh fruit and freshly prepared fruit juices. The beach is through the bay not very big ( no mass tourism) but nicely situated and ... you have to far into the sea go in order to swim. We had a pool garden-room, that very big and well equipped was. The next small town is about 25 minutes away on foot. Taxis, average 400 Baht per drive ( sometimes can one also over the price negotiate) costs in the long run too much, but with a scooter, for 200 Baht ( about 5, -€) on the day (on the hotel booked 300 Baht) gets one is on the whole island flexible, can excursions to the water falls, big Budha or grandfather and grandmother rock undertake, save the more expensive, guided excursions and fun. On the left you get used to it quickly and with a map one comes also good alone and can his tour individually designed. We ate evenings not in the hotel, as a five star hotel logically is not cheap (it but noisy other guests very good). Directly next to the hotel (over the beach to reach) there is a less expensive simple local or one drove with the scooter to Chaweng or Fischer's village (each about 15 to 20 minutes) and can eat, shop or isator go to on the next day in the beautiful hotel complex back from the hustle and bustle to relax. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. You could a beautiful Thai massage 60 minutes for 600 Baht ( circa 15.-€ ) allow and relaxation ( is clearly outside also a bit cheaper) or in the small, but sufficient gym play. We really enjoyed it and we would stay in this complex go. read more

In May we spent our honeymoon in Melati beach and it was the best vacation our life! The service and the staff are first-class, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Also extra wishes were fulfilled without problem.
The complex is exceptionally beautiful in a wonderful and maintained garden with stream. We had a garden pool villa, the private pool was cleaned every morning.
The hotel is perfect for peace searching, without animation or something like that. Particularly beautiful it is also at the Sanctuary pool.
Definitely the cocktails try! read more

2 fantastic weeks on KOH Samui. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
The complex is very well-kept and leave nothing to be desired for the, the rest and relaxation search.
The hotel is located in a relatively secluded bay KOH Samui, secluded from usual hustle and bustle like for instance on Chaweng or lamai beach. For those seeking tranquillity a dream. Transfer from the airport no 10 minutes.
To do the shopping need a scooter or a taxi to be ordered. There are no serious Einkaufsmöglichkeitebn to reach (4a 5 kilometer to next shopping Mall ).
The price ... you have to in the hotel on European prices set. A Standardgerich in the restaurant ( Curry with rice) costs in the hotel cIRCA 350 Baht, in which restaurant 20 meters further in the neighboring bungalow area 150 Baht. read more

We spent six (6) days and five (5) glorious nights at the Melati Beach Resort & Spa a most memorable experience we will not ever forget. Melati is an immaculate resort with all you’ll need for it to be a honeymoon stay or romantic getaway. We stayed in the “Presidential Suite” and loved all the amenities associated with it, especially the private pool. The resort also offer island excursions which we indulged in two (2) the Elephant Safari and sea snorkeling both were fascinating experiences. We plan to make this our annual anniversary getaway with many thanks to the staff ... (Noni, Tien, and Ray) and the chiefs/cooks who prepared our delicious meals (seafood is sumptuous). The hotel Melati (Indonesian for JASMINE) pleased us. It is an oasis for people, the peace Searches recharge your batteries and want. Someone, the adventure, is here at the wrong place! The objective is clear-cut: relaxation and enjoyment. The property, the food, the beach, the weather and the people-all perfect. We have tried very many spa services (Thai massage, milk bathroom, Oil, Manicure, Pedicure). Tenders shall be very recommendable and not as expensive as in Germany. Please do not comparisons with bargains at the beach. There is of course everything much cheap, but the atmosphere is not the same. And ... Melati -SpA is deservedly awarded. The quality and the friendliness of the staff we have nicely surprised. The check-in process in the hotel we would like to recommend. We have nearly without exception in the hotel eaten and drunk and never more than 25, to 40, -€ for the two of us spent the day (cocktails already included/happy hour notice). Someone all inclusiveYou are looking for culture, is definitely in the wrong place. We want and the partly bad reviews not understand. You should please inform in advance, where one flies. Samui is no all inclusive-Paradise and Melati is a five star hotel with appropriate revelation. Our in short all in all: if Samui, then Melati! P. P. whoever complained here, is madness! read more

the hotel is very remote. Public transport does not exist, you must about 20 to 30 minutes run, to a main street with cheap taxis to come. The hotel is but an expensive taxi. The simplest way to rent a scooter, but extremely dangerous, traffic and chaotic transport. The hotel offers for 2,50 euros(100 Baht) per person and trip a shuttle bus to Chaweng, the price is fair, Abfahrszeiten to 14:30, 21:30 back. Is worthwhile from time to time time. ( compared to the expensive taxi( 10 euros back, 20 euros back, at night and when it ... rained, the taxis are expensive). We had uS bicycles rented from the hotel (children, but we were flexible and independent.
the hotel restaurant are extremely/ridiculously expensive. At the beach directly next door has a small guest house a restaurant, the prices at first sight reasonable, but the portions are mini and it didn't taste especially good. In Chaweng there is a excellent Italian, the Pregeo. If you don't lunch and evenings in the hotel want to eat, it is difficult nourishment.
nearby there are hardly any excursions. But if you drive 30 kilometer however, you can in the beautiful mountains come.
the beach is very narrow, with wall and out-look bags repaired. The sea was very cloudy, snorkeling one can forget about them. Moreover, it stands, if you in the water and you get welts, obviously from jellyfish tentacle tapes.
the rooms were pleasant large and clean.
the staff friendly, but almost no English.
the fitness studio was clean and well equipped (were almost every day there workout). The fitness studio was one of the reasons, why we chose this hotel.
there are everywhere Mosquitoes (so bring bug spray) and many, partly very aggressive street dogs.
the whole island is very expensive, food, taxi, tours and activities in the free time.
we didn't like it very well, we would recommend a KOH Samui not as a holiday destination. But we do not have the hotel, but an even worse, it would be a pain became. read more

We had a pool villa for fourteen days booked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurant was however very mitarbeiterabhängig. The prices have 5 star quality, but from a five star hotel I expect in 14-day stay throughout first class service.

Stayed at Melati beach property from the 30th to the 3rd of November in a Pool Villa, as part of a honeymoon.
We booked our stay direct with the reservations area as we had trouble with the online booking site, in some instances we were waiting up to 3 days for confirmation or responses back on email quereies.
