The hotel is perfectly located in the old town centre of Rovinj (pedestrian zone). Transfer from/to the car park is available at any time between 7 am and 11 pm. This might be a problem for people who like to get back to the hotel from outside the city late at night. Generally, the staff was quite friendly - particularly compared to other restaurants/hotel in the area. Some of them, however, don't speak English/German. This can become a bit annoying because they don't tell you that they don't understand and just say 'Ja, ja'. Also, some of the staff lacks ... flexibility - a characterisitc I would describe as typical for the former Yugoslavia. Also, breakfast was a bit disappointing - I would have imagined more for the price. The hotel is very clean. In the room, however, there were heaps of dust on the first day - that shouldn't happen, really. Alltogether, it was a pleasant stay, though. A bit more effort and it would have been perfect. read more
