The hotel is large, the animier are in a main building and an adjoining building divided. There are no free amenities such as wireless internet amongst others the cost for parking is 45 Dollar per day, wlan per minute the use will be charged and is definitely overpriced. The staff was not courteous, the doorman were so busy, that every contact with the guest on the absolutely most necessary cut. Eye contact is avoided. But if you on arrival is a great give a tip may a hour later still friendly detected. Those who believe, that someone on the way ... there helps three bags from the car to heave wrong but massive. Breakfast is not included in the price. The room was on the ground floor, roadside and everyone could a look. -which nine out of ten did. read more

The Sheraton is right at fisherman's wharf-the tourist district. A block from the commotion protected you get a traveler there not with. Great facilities, nice, big room and everything is reachable on foot. The hotel isn't really cheap - clear, is a Sheraton. But worth the money. Concerning drinks and food we can only about the continental breakfast involved-the is very good. Other meals we only outside the hotel restaurant. If you've never in frisco was, should money into your hand take and the hotel book! read more

The hotel is good average. The rooms are clean and large, but noisy ( street, Hallway). Food and toilets in common areas below average. Note: no free parking spaces far and wide. In the hotel costs a night guest parking 50 dollars, outside of the hotel 32 dollars. read more

The location of this hotel is great. I had a room on the top (fourth) floor has I heard it could be noisy at night. My room faced an inside courtyard so it was quieter; the staff seemed to recognize this when I enquired about it at check in. Parking is underground and my rate included the otherwise $50 per night fee. You're not even too far from downtown and could walk in 25 minutes. There are grocery stores across the street such as safeway which is a good place to grab snacks to avoid the high costs in the ... area. The location is very central to the wharf and other piers and tourist sites. High rise hotels are apparently not allowed in this area, so if that's what you want, you'll have to stay downtown. read more

The Sheraton Fishermans wharf is suitable for everyone, their time in San Francisco the port want to spend. From the hotel you can the piers and everything other good on foot reach. For shopping tour you probably should a hotel in the city center choose, but I personally thought it was better in the port to live and then to take a taxi. In the area there are innumerable restaurants and shops. read more

Compared to other Sheraton's it was relatively expensive, the room was relatively small, low ceilings and very small bathroom. No free internet stations only free wireless Internet. It is directly at the port, but good restaurants... Will take place in vain. I would still recommend it as it is a good starting point for Alcatraz, Coit Tower, Lombard street... Is. read more

Beautiful city hotel directly at Fisherman's Wharf. Interior fittings not up-to-date but okay. Had room to the inner courtyard, relatively quiet except for the garbage trucks in the morning, no view therefor. Pool etc. but we didn't use it. Breakfast is not included in the price. We had breakfast at the hotel-buffet. You had to wait a bit, until a table was free but that was okay. Price of breakfast comparable with business hotels in Germany. Both the quality and taste of the food was very good by American standards. There was also a bar, where one coffee to go ..., as well as various could buy the breakfast. We have not used. The ambience of the hotel bar was very cool and somewhat loud. Nothing for well-being feeling. Valet parking a bit pricey. We have not used. The car had at the supermarket parking lot across the street turned off-it was cheaper if you let them down. read more

Very good location, in order to explore San Francisco. Fisherman's Wharf and two sightseeing bus stations are only about ten minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel looks very nice from the lobby, however, we found the room for those price was much too expensive. The window went to the road and you looked directly on the wall of a house of the neighboring hotels. There are no offers for honeymooners! Unfortunately, there was no great hotel, just a sleepover option, which would not be profitable for those price. For a discovery, the hotel is very good, however. One of ... the sightseeing stops is located in the immediate vicinity, this tour we also, as you all the highlights and you can always get off, you want to be when you stay there longer. Fisherman's Wharf is within walking distance: seals on the boards, a great view of Alcatraz and pier is an attraction in itself. A variety of restaurants, souvenir shops and a 4D-Cinema (very funny) are to be found there. Right nearby is the aquarium (combi with bus tour is cheaper), which is well worth a tour. If you want to see Alcatraz, Coit Tower, should book already before the vacation. We got no more tickets, as the crowd is very large. read more

Our California tour began in San Francisco. The hotel is located about 40 minutes away from the airport. We rented our car until four days later, as the city on foot or with very good cable car, etc. could be explored. The parking fee of $42 at the hotel saves you also. The hotel is located just one block from the turning point of the cable car line. There is also a supermarket chain trader Joe's '', where you it can buy drinks and snacks. It is very easy to Fisherman's Wharf, pier 39 and the pier 33 (for Alcatraz ... ferry). The Sheraton is very large and has a rather impersonal lobby. Faster, trouble-free check-in our room was on the third floor with a view of the pool and a little bit skyline. For the central location relatively quiet. The room was clean, modernly furnished with flat screen tv, coffee maker, air conditioning, safe, telephone. The bathroom was rather a bit shabby and ve read more

The hotel is located in a classic building. The ceilings are low. You sometimes get the impression to be on a cruise ship. Long ways within the building. Poor view either on the other side of roof of the boilers or similar were appropriate. No cosmetic mirror in the bathroom. Few tray surfaces in the shower. In my opinion, poor value for money. I think, that as the Argonaut hotel are a better choice. Positive rating is the short distance to the pier 39 (from June-August and without sea lions) and the Fisherman's Wharf. read more

Hello,
We were with the hotel much to peace, and staff were great room bathroom.
Only the parking was very expensive with the rental car, 43 dollars plus tax (is but in SF so) but the car in the garage.
From the hotel you could reach everything without a car, for example, Alcatraz, pier 39 and cable car system. even to downtown or you could go with the Chinatown cable car.
Breakfast was convenient to the corner it, with Ihob read more

All in all a great stay in this hotel. The staff-especially at the reception could be more friendly something. Otherwise everything was OK. Internet only in the lobby, free of charge. If you arrive with the rental car should a parking lot across from the hotel ($30) select. The hotel garage costs $50 per day. read more

We have stayed at the June two days in this hotel.
The location is excellent. Down to the fisherman's warf it was about a ten minutes 'walk away, where you also many shops and very nice restaurants will take place. The next stop is about eight cable car minutes away.
The hotel seems very new decor. It is clean and tidy everything!
On us the decor was something Maritim (understandable for a port) and the furniture reminded us of IKEA look the. We have us something like a North sea hotel.
The room was modern and very clean. But is ... the bathroom, especially the sanitary facilities very small. With the door closed, I had fear of something. But it is a (for a hotel) large flat screen TV in the room.
The staff at reception we have seen as something the disinterested and not very friendly. The bar next to the reception, where you can buy for example a coffee, we have found very expensive.
Conclusion:
You can the hotel for a holiday in San Fran again.
We would do it but not again, since we both on the guests ' herumspringt it ' could not necessarily a good thing. Very many young, dynamic, anti-authoritarian 'families and many so-called' alternative ', whose main clothes from raffia and cotton is. (Where the only such arrogance taken us until today have we ask). But the people is pretty good to the city.
The hotel itself is but OK.
Tip:
For the ride to the airport one can make use of the hotel limousine service. The dollar cost with 48 in something as much, or even less than a taxi and it's in a pleasant and clean car. We had a very friendly and love Asian as driver, which us very good and safe for airport has risks. read more

The hotel is absolutely to be recommended and for us it would be a return visit to San francisco is no better alternative.
The hotel has been recently (at least it seems so) completely renovated and makes inside a nearly new impression. Also the room are newly renovated and very modern decor. Our room has also smelled really good. Is equipped it with all, what you can expect and need. The beds are super comfortable. It is also a coffee machine, with which one could in the morning fresh Starbucks coffee brew a can-tasted really good!
Also the service is ... absolutely top! Us is a light bulb burned twice, the within a few minutes after our call to the reception was changed. But also otherwise was the staff at the reception, as well as the concierge was very friendly and helpful.
The location almost directly at fisherman's Wharf is absolutely top! Both during the day and in the evening you can also there marvelously flanieren by numerous artists and is very well maintained. Furthermore, it are many and really good restaurants with great fish offer.
Directly across the street from the hotel it is a small shopping center with a large supermarket walgreens and (Saveway). It is there in the morning even fresh, krosse rolls. The entrance is also through the right across the street from the Sheraton parking garage. Just going in, then you'll see the entrance.
The cable car terminus 'Mason-street ' is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. There should be a long queue at the last stop, just a few 100 meters to walk along the way and wait there. The car will be filled on the never quite decent, so people to be able to rise on the way. read more

This hotel is located only a five-minute walk away from fisherman's warf. Two cable stations are in the immediate vicinity. The parking (about 45, -per night) are relatively high. In the immediate vicinity there are cheaper parking garages. Looking for a room to the inner courtyard, the room are not very noise resistant, what concerns the transport and the guests in the upper floor. The breakfast is very expensive (about 23, -$ per person), offers but a huge selection. read more

Modern hotel on the wharf archived

The hotel is located two minutes walk from the fisherman's Wharf. The pier 39 is about three to four minutes away.
From the outside the hotel made a rather dull impression. It is so understated, it could be smooth overlooked it in the driving directions.
It consists of several buildings with four floors stretch.
The check-in was rather hectic and took a relatively long.
The entrance of the hotel is very narrow and looks and lack of internal coordination vehicles by the staff arranged. By unscrupulous taxi drivers the situation has been aggravated still in the hotel entrance. The valet ... parking is with 44 dollars per day to expensive.
Positive to mention are the sitting areas with fireplaces in the entrance side course. They were very happy for us, after a long day exploring San francisco, with a cigarette in use.
To the rooms: they are large, modern and colorful decor. Our room had two king Size beds. The decor was also a flat screen with HD TV. The bathroom was however very small. The sink was outside the actual bathroom in a niche building.
Our room was very clean and quiet. The cleaning was done every day.
During our week's stay was the staff unfortunately not in the location, a broken elevator to repair, so that the two remaining elevators it queues to came.
The dining was used by us not, because of the close proximity to fisherman's Wharf and pier 39 many restaurants within easy reach to.
The traffic route is optimal. The tram stops at the corner of the line F, and to the market street in the city center.
All the sights of San francisco are either with the car, the bike, to foot or with public transport to reach. Whereby the word in San francisco for inexperienced cyclists not well. Also the cable car station is within ten minutes walk to reach.
A little tip for the breakfast. Rise in tram, until the market hall in ferry-building drive, to the delicious breakfast and put together an Al Fresco, right on the bay, enjoy.
And finally: pack warm clothes. Also in summer the evenings are cool in San francisco. read more

We have booked to the start of our 3-Sheraton week us/trip and us have very, very comfortable!
Check-in and check-out were problem-free and very fast!
The location of the hotel is for a city break ideal, to foot one is less alsw five-minute walk to the pier 39, or on the fisherman's warf!
Also the sightseeing bus stops almost in front of the hotel!
So a better location is it actually not!
The hotel is general in a very good condition and you feel immediately on! On our complaint concerning a lack of dark-blinds they reacted immediately and we were ... immediately given a new room. However, this room was on the top floor right under the air conditioning, the really was very loud! Also the street and you could hear very loud! So we took again our old room, which was a night and slept courtyard without shutters, but it was immediately the next morning installed!
So we can recommend the hotel and would not hesitate to stay again in the Sheraton' read more
