It was a great vacation. We will definitely not again the ariadne beach hotel go. The additional costs are too high for us. For everything you need pay. Loungers umbrella tv fridge and air conditioning. At the beach and at the pool there is no changing rooms. read more

The hotel isn't very large and the rooms are because of the different houses well divided. The guests are international mixed: german, swiss, french and russians are we met. read more

    The rooms are rather small and with everything that you need equipped. The mattresses are in fact very hard, which i however not bother us. The shower is however really badly small, We had actually booked a standard room. But when we saw we wanted to go a bit more money. Because it would be directly at the described above street. For 15 €on the day we were to superior upgraded. But we had a fridge, tv and really important: a balcony with a view of the sea!

    The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The food is okay. In the morning for my taste however very monotonous. The selection of jams is large, at sausage and cheese however not. The food dinner was more like. There were always french fries, everything else varies however: there is the typical moussaka, but also spaghetti bolognese. The beverage prices are similar like in Germany (small beer 2.50). The atmosphere in the dining room we didn't like. The light was too loud, so that we tried, always on the terrace to get a seat.

    The staff is always friendly, although one for the waiters during dinner but partly noticed, that it end of the season was. With german and english you got in the hotel super clear. The rooms were always clean.

    Beach and pool were clean and beautiful. The beach is small, but one found despite are usually a place to lie in the sand. The water is clear. Only the beach chairs we were somewhat annoyed. Through the comments it was clear to us, that what costs. However in the hotel itself nobody pointed out and it is not at all clear, up to what time in the evening you have to pay. The not very nice note from ' liegenmann' introduced.

    The hotel complex is very centrally located. This has both -, as well as disadvantages. Because it all easy to reach. However, there are also rooms (standard), to this road show, where it was a bit noisy. There was no entertainment (luckily!) No. The transfer was about one hour (at least on the way there, than other hotel on the way route).

Very simple hotel. One may not expectations have. The pictures on the internet are a few. Chair and lounger are subject to a charge. The hotel is very well-kept. The beach rather small partly rock. Recommendable is only the breakfast to book. No wide choice, always buffet. You can in the area very good food and not expensive. read more

We really liked the hotel. Right when we arrived, we could between 2 rooms choose (which us better liked). We felt for a room ( with extended balcony on the roof) this not in the hotel lag, but opposite the hotel in a side building. The room is very clean, however are the beds for our taste too hard. We had the half board. The food was simple very delicious. The buffet was also regularly refilled. One must only on his plate beware, hardly one had the last bites in the stomach, the industrious waiter and clears fast the plates. ... The guests in our environment are in the mixed age defendendo. Lots of young couple, as well as retirees were represented. read more

    We had a nice well maintained room. What only at night didn't bother us, is the lighting the electricity in the room been. Very blue! With the help of a towels you could this hide and then it was also :-)

    There is a dining room. If however too much rush been, blocked you dining area through a red rope off and it had to wait, until a table again has become vacant. This, but not all too often. The food is very tasty been. However is not selection of alcoholic drinks very limited defendendo. Sales tax. Amounted to 23% on food. The atmosphere is a bit dated.

    The beach directly at the hotel was neat, but very narrow to the water located. Chairs and an umbrella should be paid separately. The village Stalis really comfortable. Is very recommendable the bar beachcomber, there is every evening live music offered. The cocktails taste in the whole town a bit different than here in Germany, but very good value for money from 5,00 Euro the neighbor-place Malia shall be deemed to be Ballermann of the Mallorca. We do not have much from received, as we almost except season time been there. There were very many excursions about the hotel offered. We have a knossos trip joined in, there we old construction ruins to see (extended but very the length).

The hotel is over several small hauser distributed. None more than 2 floors. In between is everything beautiful green (even end of September, beginning August). From the outside like from the inside very well-kept. We felt the area around Stalis/ Malia good and it is ( apart from the five star hotels) really the best!. You can eat sometimes on the terrace with a view of the sea. Pool wonderful large, always clean, mostly empty and you view on the sea. The hotel has for a nice sandy beach also lawn chairs. Wonderful! The average age lag (perhaps since we ... in the low season were there) with around 40 to 50 years. Many couples and families. All together: clean, building work relatively new, no 'concrete block', much gruenflaeche. read more

    Clean, if also not as large. But since you are not as most of the time anyway is... Definitely a superior -room book. Otherwise one no air conditioning and no tv or sunday The tv was perfect ( very large flat screen with ARD, ZDF, RTL, satellite. 1) and the air conditioning and evenings saved. Bathroom small, but clean. Great was, that the hotel the e-mail of the travel agency-employees got, in a room on the upper floors with a view of the sea has requested and we promptly the best room received. Balcony was wonderful and the view was much direct on the beach and the sea.

    Well... The food wasn't as ours. The buffet had always meat and fish, however a lot nevertheless partly quite unusual seasoned. Since it was the largest not always fries there, that was okay. The soups were but prima and the food the 10 days never repeated. That's why: ok! There is a table with local things. For gourmets and interested, open-minded guests definitely great.

    Internet there is free in the sofa area of the hotel. Animation there was not. Pool as mentioned very clean and large. Chairs on the beach cost, Euro. Umbrella also. Many water sports nearby at the beach ( Banana-boat, jet ski...).

    The location was perfect for us. Malia ( town center perhaps 20-minute walk away) seems a Ballermann-similar environment to be, with their clubs and discos is relatively large. The ariadne beach is located between mali and Stalis ( which somehow a place grew). Here you can evenings very good cocktails or beer drinks and eat out. The bars and restaurants rows itself together. Recommendable English pubs and the bars with the hammocks. Except small einkaufslaeden, bars and restaurants there is obviously not much, but this is to chersonissos no different... Tips: in Malia there is a cool mini golf -complex. Sounds uncool, but the really funny trains. US also times wheels and the palace of Malia raced. At the prices not rip off and action! To celebrate you can also great to chersonissos. On foot approximately 2 hours ( on the coast along), but with bus (1.60 Euro the drive) really easy to reach. Buses regularly ( if anyway not really after plan...). Tip: always in former times there its. The love to go 3 to 4 minutes before the time. Yes, the greeks. To Agios Nikolaos it is also quickly with bus. There is however nothing to see. Particularly beautiful the place is also not, since above average many building empty or not to end were built. To Heraklion it is also not far. With bus for 7,60 Euro there and back. Definitely from there after knossos (for eu students are actually all museums free). Definitely not this tour of the tour operator book. Also great alone... Last tip: the gorge of samaria. Is half world trip (5:15 A. M. los and 10:30 P. M. back), but who not only beach and sea want, but also wanted to experience something you should not to be missed. Also tip: not on the tour operator. Neckermann wanted smooth 65 Euro and entry in the gorge and the boat trip. Attention to a oertlichen providers (there are thousands of on the street). We paid only 35 Euro and canyon and boat and were very good satisfied. We were promptly picked up and the tour operator was perfect. (-> the agency called touring club).

Very good three-star hotel, the I without any problems can recommend. Hotel lies directly at the beach Check in and check out without any problems and was very quick. Room rather small however quite well equipped, small balcony. Bathroom is also quite small and as already often describe, very small shower, there remains the curtain often on the body sticky. Food I had only breakfast the very simple and without large variety was. Supper I had always outside taken in one of the many very nice taverns. The hotel lies directly at a small sandy beach, the sea is very ... clean and very good bathing and swimming. For the chairs and sunscreens will be 1.80 Euro ever piece requires. read more

We were this year already for the 3 time in ariadne. We felt here like at home, because everything is good here. From the friendly greeting at arrivial, on the always friendly staff in all areas and the good food. The complex is directly at a beautiful sandy beach. There are in the immediate area all kinds of possibilities to do water sports. The large pool the very well maintained by a large lawn surrounded. Shops and entertainment you will find in the direct vicinity of the hotels. Also the beautiful pool bar is in the evening a beautiful meeting ... point. The whole complex is very clean and well maintained, the same goes for the rooms. Here, you noticed that the whole family, as well as the hotel manager cityward largest trouble. Only I understand the guests not, p. ratings, the in the room nitpick if you place a supplement for air conditioning and tv pay must. If you have a standard room bay, which is cheaper than a superior room, you have to expect it, just like described in the catalogue no air conditioning and tv contains. Here afterwards to complain I think impossible. The hotel we can like many other also absolutely recommend. Many thanks to the ariadne team for the great vacation. read more

Excursions or so we made none. However in the hotel or in the area it had enough possibilities to the excursions book. The weather was always nice. Average 28 degrees. At 2 days we had wind with fairly high waves. The beach is small however very comfortable. We always got a pool chair. In short the vacation was really great. And we will be back! There are plenty of pub the very comfortable are. The left from the hotel there was a small supermarket and there are many shops. The best cocktails you can get a few meters left from ... the hotel ( with hammocks and places to sit. The Irish house is also recommendable. The hotel lies directly at a small beautiful sandy beach. The rent for 2 loungers and a sun screen is 5.40 Euro per day. The staff were always very friendly. All spoke German as well as English. read more

Really nice service all great, exactly at the beach the sand very fine also in the water, pool small however is enough completely from, if you chill off a book finished reading want it is an ideal hotel. You won't regret it. For couples and older people ideal or couples with babies. But if your children have given the constantly entertainment it was not so so no animations or larger possibilities for playing. There is a long einkuafsmile with different bars and restaurants and purchase possibilities also. If you out of the hotel is you should to the left walking ... there, there are a bar on the left side with hanging chairs, very tasty cocktails recommendable. In short. A lovingly run hotel where the senior manager at the breakfast buffet, as well as in the evening helps. Very clean, every day is service in the rooms made. The guest structure this year was unfortunately so, that 50% Russian guests were there. The behavior at the table this nationality is very hard to get used to. The buffet was cleared and massive quantities (up to 15 centimeter high on the plate) in rekordtempo plugged in. However there were again and again after, so that it again and again appropriate selection gave. read more

The hotel and also the area really pleased us. The complex is very green and extensive. Super we liked the pool bar and their staff. I can recommend there clear the May Tai!-O The place Stalis itself also it pleased us. There are not so many British staying in this place like in Malia and there is therefore also rather no discos or so, but nevertheless you can in the evening still cozy a glass of wine in the different bars drink. There would be for example the bar beachcomber recommendable. Each evening live music! Which we didn't find ... too good, were the beds in the hotel. These were for our taste way too hard, and the, although we also the at home a mattress with hardness 4 have! But apart from that I can clear say, that we this hotel any further would recommend! read more

Definitely superior -room book, perhaps sea-sided. The street is quite noisy. The Hotel Ariadne has almost as only hotel over beautiful green areas against the sandy beach. read more

A wonderful and clean facilities, which one definitely can recommend. The staff are very nice and friendly, no matter which nationality. Possibilities for recreation often available ( Fahrzeugverleih, things to Do into the inland possible without a problem). We will definitely come again. read more

Very good three-star hotel. Very clean and friendly. The beach very nice, as you also above on the lawn ( for a fee) on loungers relax, without sand on the towel to have ;-). The food was very good in terms of taste and a Greek corner with specialties there. The hotel seemed very well-kept. The pool bar seemed also evenings very welcoming. read more

I and my friend could a wonderful week in this hotel spend. Taste as well as visual were the food perfect. A small negative aspect include the lack of fresh fruit at the morning buffet. All together a lovely stay until we at home were surprised. Unfortunately the incompetent hotelphotograf by lack of competence the verpakung the photos as chaotic made, that they are no longer usable were. In a nutshell we proud 10 €for photos spent, which are in the garbage land had. 2€ tip for such a thing. Oh well... read more

We really enjoyed the vacation. Just a pity, that you for the air conditioning and the fridge 9 Euro per day and for the safe 12 Euro the week extra pay, as well as for the loungers and shhirme by the pool and all drinks in the evening. read more

Positive: Nice hotel, right next to the sea, very friendly staff, right on the doorstep bars, taverns, shops. No animation, so you could finally relax, had peace. Nice other hotel residents. As scooter drivers one must steep ramps high, bathroom not rolligeeignet. But with escort one comes well clearly.     Was brilliant. We had the superior room with climate -complex. Furthermore, we had view of the sea. I know the normal rooms -but not the extra charge has sichaus my view definitely paid!

    We had the half board in the house - was really great. You knew all the food! There was also a' Kreta- ecke' it was a bit of getting used to, but like stop and this should not take. Buffet was always plenty even if you came later. Once we the dinner played hooky and are neighbors fish eat out -> excellent.

    Pool is very well kept and was absolutely important. We had some larger waves, what really great was! But comfortable swimming simply better in the pool... And as mentioned - lawn and beach - everything was very well-kept. Merely the tip for the loungers was unpleasant. 1.80 per day and couch. The you could save. We were once quad-you should definitely make. 30 Euro per day ( petrol is expensive! - circa 2 Euro per liter) but really great.

    As described in the middle of the town and nevertheless you can hear the swirligig not. Important in my opinion - lawn and sandy beach. So you can relax in the sun couches and not always the things full of sand.

    1. Room very old, but clean. eingeschrämkte view on the sea. To 2 nights room changing - simply asked without complaint. Not a problem been. Then super super great room with a pool / view of the sea. 2. Room with a large flat screen tv ( ARD/ ZDF/ satellite/ RTL). Big fridge, very silent air conditioning. Shower as well as in the first room little small and shower curtain hung many a time on a feast.

In terms of taste, the food was immaculate. Kitchen every evening were scrubbed (that was from the outside good to see). The essensvorbereitung were hairnets born.

    Pool, lawn, stairs, beach, sea - brilliant. We were on the lawn, despite fully booked hotel lots of space 8 the next loungers at least 5 meters further. Always enough chairs and sun screens free, which was probably connected with daily rent is connected (2 loungers a umbrella ever day 5.4, -€ ), hotel very centrally located but nevertheless very quiet location, supermarket, excursion office and car rental right next to hotel. reatsurants, pubs etc. Everything is close by.
