The Ibis Hotel Thalasse Le Touquet is located directly at the beach. Many rooms have view of the sea and balcony, but a extra charge to pay is. Our room had also a balcony, but with a view of the inner courtyard, or garden. The room itself is somewhat larger than the previously visited by US Ibis-hotels for sightseeing trips or similar The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom was usual small, it was already very narrow. There was a flat screen -tv, the no German channels received, but amongst others Bajazzo 1 Austria. ... In the entire hotel there is free Wi-Fi. The code's this is it at the front desk. The staff are very friendly and accommodating - really great! Whoever wanted to swim, free the large swimming pool use, as well as the 'gym'. (in the swimming pool is cap-duty - either one of at home bring, apart from that costs on site 4 euros!) Thalasso treatments are at any time locally available, as well as lunch and dinner. The breakfast was excellent. From croissants all kinds, on various bread, Crepes, muesli, egg etc. There was for breakfast everything you need, so that it 11 euros per person no reason complaint gave. In addition to the views of the very wide and very long beach - fantastic! Can go shopping in le Touquet to. There are 2 supermarkets in the village are ( Carrefour city and casino)-the large a bit outside. Restaurants, cafés and Brasseries are there without end, when one can not say, that it was cheap. Recommendable nonetheless is amongst others the Brasserie 'café du sport' or baker ' Fred' with great cakes and other delicious things;-)! The area you can take bicycles explore, or at the beach walk for hours. The arrival can be made by car ( parking Ibis and the adjacent Novotel) are sufficiently available. One comes by train from Paris (2,5 hours) departs from train station Etaples le Touquet 10 minutes later a bus after Touquet to 2 euros per person get off either when 'thalasso therapy' if no market or to ' le marché pointers to events' and 10 minutes run. Taxi costs 15 to 20 euros. Both hotels see from the outside nothing special nice, what in my opinion but the old style is payable, as well as the weather, the predominates. Inside, slowly started to renovate - the front desk, bar and breakfast room are already again and I hope, that the rooms will follow, as they are still in the old' Ibis Style' are. Then I was much like a once again! read more
