We were very comfortable in this hotel. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly. The hotel's location is great, directly at the long promenade. Lots of hotels, shops and restaurants are in february however closed. Sadly even here there were, as almost everywhere in Spain, the rooms badly soundproofed and the dining room rather uncomfortable. The small indoor pool was enough, for a few rounds to turn.
The audience while we were there rather 60 upwards, but we didn't mind that. Altogether we felt very well relaxed and with a rental car to the whole island explored on foot. read more

We have the Hipocampo Playa because of the many good reviews and were not disappointed. The hotel is quite newly renovated and well organized, so that hardly any wishes remain open. In february the majority of the guests from pensioners, supplemented by some golfurlauber. The majority came from the german-speaking area.
There is in the entire hotel free wi-fi, the also sufficiently fast (perhaps also the age structure was, because i suspect, that most of the guests the wifi not at all use). read more

A great hotel, the very ambitious management. The handling of complaints was extremely accommodating. About the food was not saved. Great kitchen!
Very pleasant staff.
Criticism: the dinner-tables could have been more space between is needed. It was doomed, the entire vacation relatively close to a foreign, a definitely not matching neighbors/ neighbour to spend. All the one took gladly in purchase because of the good other qualities of the hotel. read more

I seats just on my room and rate the hotel on my last day.
Here are my comments on the various areas:
The hotel normally. Is really in an extremely good condition. Newly renovated and very clean! On taste however and so i found the hallways to the rooms a modern, nevertheless relatively dark, somewhat overwhelming.
Please note: in the january is the average age at about 60!
The location. Wonderful. At the wonderful beach from Cala Millor, only separated from it by a promenade (so no directly at the beach). To the next 'spar '/ supermarket it was about ... 4-6 minutes on foot. To the center with various bars and shops around 10 minutes away on foot. Drivers in streets around the hotel will be turned off.
The service., and here i am speaking in particular from the reception, i was good, but not very communicative and little warm notice. Unfortunately i came in Cala Millor with fever and a infection on. Apparently i have terrible looked, as i before the two brown curled women the front desk stood. While a my key ready made, she was with the other, then fast you program (breakfast etc.) Runterzurattern. Little later i asked, where i as a large bottle of water for my tablets can buy. Somewhat peeved was called it then, but i should to the bar go and i as a glass water order. (it shall be prohibited, drinks and food from the outside with to the hotel to take-i read then in the room in the hotel brochure to.) My boyfriend called later again to, for i put through and on its demand, which possibilities it locally give, i, to help, he got the sentence said' we are a hotel and a hospital! '. I think it simply unfortunately, have a smile, a 'welcome' and maybe a little bit of understanding / willingness to help was enough for us.-(
The service in the restaurant was okay, however also not warm or personally. Unfortunately i had the first morning 5 minutes wait, anyway the empfangsfrau to, give me my table to show. She said, that they just come back, filled then but only several things after, so i, in the middle of the room, a bit lost case.
Dining (breakfast). I thought that was a good: bread, eggs, omelet, cheese, small choice of fruits, coffee, tea, sparkling wine. Great!
Sport /entertainment/ pool. Was very on the target group 60 and laid out. Evenings schunkelmusik, at of the lobby Andrea Berg and when activity in the morning, taking blood pressure.
The pool, the saunas and umkleidenbereich is also like everything very clean. Nevertheless unfortunately also for my needs way too small. For quick jump it is okay, but for a wellness vacation in the winter for me it was rather unsatisfying. I was before in the Grupotel Playa de Palma suites & spa, this wellness temple is the unfortunately not comparable. The sauna is located right in the passage area to massages, to the pool, dressing area, and so can every through the windowpane look, the past is.
The rooms. I found super nice: size just perfect, top renovated, big balcony. I had a lateral view of the sea-great! Great renovated! However i had a bath tub with shower's wall from glass. At the cover hangs a red heat lamp, really comfortable. And there is a heating, just in the cold january great! The only problem: between the bathroom and room is a sliding door, not correctly closed and again and again from alone rises. I would not only been, it would bother me.

We are as a couple icy and just want spontaneously a week the snow escape and have due to the positive reviews for this hotel decided. I would recommend this reviews only confirm, that it a very clean hotel with 6 floors. We had a room in the 6 with a wonderful view of the see and the mountains. Which i also can confirm, that lots of shops in the surrounding area closed. If you had a rental car and this didn't bother, on the contrary, everything was very quiet and empty, hardly people, simply relaxing and the almond blossom ... had already begun. So, if you arrange to no massive choice at the restaurants and just a little peace like, this is the perfect period.
Back to the hotel. The average age of about 75 i can only confirm, i found however also great. If you like to sleep late and 10 for breakfast seems to find an empty space. Buffet until at the end refilled, so everything was perfect. No screaming kids far and wide, just a pleasant breakfast, what else in the form of a vacation rarely is possible. Then we were the whole day and are against 8 for dinner, also there the room was already empty. The staff were there always nice and helpful. Often a bit sleepy, which the beverages anbetraf, the always something wait, considering, that the room was empty, but otherwise everything was great. At this point i must also the food again emphasize. It was always everything very tasty and for a buffet surprisingly varied. Every day was an issue and this typical food. (for example. Dutch - massive cheese platter, mexikansich - tortillaauflauf, tacos, etc.) The bar i unfortunately not further tested, but the 2 guys were super nice and funny. Which i at the bar seen, actually also nothing to be desired, from a variety of juices on every spirit the ranking and name has. Thus there can one with all likelihood a nice evening make.
The front desk was also always occupied and helpful. Initially went in the room the hairdryer not, this was immediately exchanged.
For the price and this peace i will Mallorca now once in the spring as a travel destination tape. read more

Because of the many positive reviews we had expected a lot and weren't dissapointed! We had a great room on the 6. floor with frontal view of the sea. The rooms are well equipped and decorated up to date. The service is in all areas friendly and pleasant! The gastronomy is also exemplary. In comparison to other hotels (also star hotel) we could after several days the food enjoy! Very good and versatile variety the food, altogether very good quality the products, particular emphasis should be on the very good fish. The location of the hotel, right next to the ... sea is also a plus point. Small points of criticism: the tables in the dining room are too narrow on top of each other, so that you too few privacy has. Unfortunately the toiletries in the bathroom was not refilled. We had altogether a very nice stay, recommend the hotel with confidence and would also come again. read more

We have a long weekend in Cala Millor spend. The hotel and also the food were great. From the audience were rather older people to visit, which was probably due to the time of the year. Weather in january is passable defendendo to outdoorbaden it was unfortunately too cool. Was very relaxing and the price-performance unbeatable. We will do it again. read more

Very beautiful hotel, we felt very good. Had only booked breakfast,it was excellent.
Wide choice and very tasty. A small comment nor. We have on the 4. floor in room 433 stayed. The room was great, only on the balcony was in the middle a large tear. Of outside you could see that the crack from the first floor up to the sixth floor along moved. It is now nothing dangerous, but it would have been nice if this fault at some point will solve. read more

As a lone traveler i was on arrival a dark, very small single room assigned, i absolutely did not agree with them. The front desk i then against a small extra charge, a more beautiful double room sunny side given. The hotel is in the winter 2011 extensively renovated. Unfortunately it's always still so noisy as on my last stay before 6 years. The rooms are small, but responding furnished, the bathroom is totally remodelled and now instead of a bath tub a great schwellenlose large shower cubicle. The room has a large lcd -tv and a safe, the € ... 12/week costs. In the 7 days i stay were the towels changed daily, but the bed linen in the entire time not once. read more
