We would book immediately again, we were in the first week of march, here, so were the most restaurants and bars still closed. (recommendable is in the passage of the italians' tameo') so devaluation at' restaurants'
We were traveling a lot with the rental car, about 1000 kilometer, it was all great!
It was the first holiday, in which the sagrotansprayflasche closed remained! :-)
The indoor pool is adequate, fitness room small and finely, sauna, but also enough.
The location is very nice, the service great and very friendly.

The renovated on the edge of town from the Cala Millor located hotel lies directly on the beautiful protected area in very peaceful location. The hotel is only through the beach promenade away from the beach.
We had a room with a view to the pool what the march is very recommendable, as there from early until late the sun. The food was at breakfast and at dinner in buffet form enough. It was very diverse and tasty. The only it would have for breakfast more whole wheat bread can give. The hotel is very clean and the employees are ... very friendly. We had a room with walk-in shower the was perfect! So we thought it was a successful vacation and you the hotel can recommend to anyone. read more

The good reviews here we not disappointed, a really very good and recommendable hotel.
During our holiday in march 2013 almost exclusively langzeiturlaubende retirees from Germany. The offers in the area are at this time however very reduced, since about 70% of all the bars, restaurants and shops are closed. So however, you can the peace and quiet enjoy.
What we didn't like: although the kindness and courtesy of the staff is very good, if not on the service staff in the restaurant to. We had the feeling, us for some reason can't handle. As we very polite and nice ... people and always friendly, even in the language, greet, the reason lie elsewhere. Too few tip? We do not know. Certainly missing time the glasses on the table, times came the beverages first, as we already with the food were finished. And, although we were not complaining about, but only friendly mood pointed out, moved through the whole week our stay. Well, we have the vacation still enjoyed. read more

All in all a nice, relaxing vacation. With the food we were satisfied, there was something there for everyone. The atmosphere in the dining room, because sometimes quite uncomfortable and the scheme, that one a firm table would assigned, we found not good. Undisturbed private conversations were not possible, since the tables simply close beieinader were. We were disappointed by the work of the cleaning staff. Despite sumptuous tips were the bathroom as good as never cleaned properly, the balcony was not swept etc. This is not 4 star in accordance with. It is of course possible, that we were ... just unlucky on our floor. read more

Great 4 days, very good location. The food varied and tasty (we had the half board). Prices for beverages adequate (no rip-off). It is offered, the refrigerator for drinks we brought to use. The joints of the tiles in the shower may be cleaned, but it wasn't extremely, everything clean. The staff was always friendly. This wasn't our last stay in this hotel. read more

Because of the good reviews we were decided for this hotel.
Our decision we didn't regret it.
As guests, 99% germans, was from toddlers to betagtem retirees everything available, the average age there so around the 60 years was.
We especially enjoyed, that also people, a rollators/wheelchair are, very good in this hotel along came and obviously feel very welcome.
With the staff of the hotel we have very good experience only the cleaning of the rooms was not optimal.
At the front desk one was very friendly on german-also you had there always an ear to lend for requests ... and suggestions.
The staff in the dining room were very attentive and courteous.
Assigned seating, ordering, dishes-it could not be better.
The buffets in the morning and evening were very varied. The dishes were very tasty and selection more than enough.
With the room cleaning we had already on arrival problems. On the side walls to the sinks were leftovers from toothpaste and splashing water available. In the excited to our stay gathered on the floor under the bed, in the corners and the legs of the armchair staubreste. The spiegelreinigung, and the cleaning the a glass division the shower inadequate. Also disappeared a personal plastic card from the box to stromfreigabe next to the door. A discussion with the reception, the manager wasn't at all, brought improvement. In the hotel it was environmentally friendly. Our renovated room on the 5. floor was not generous. The mattresses were very firm, the bathroom with double sinks big enough. The shower with a glass division was very good. When the sun shines the sun was shining from sunrise until about 11:30 a. m. on the balcony. There during our stay the sea was very troubled, we have the sound of the sea in the room already very 'loud' felt. In the hotel it was pleasantly quiet, as well as in the adjacent outdoor area. A supermarket, as well as a doctor practice 24 hours readiness is located a short distance from were available. read more

We were very comfortable in this hotel. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly. The hotel's location is great, directly at the long promenade. Lots of hotels, shops and restaurants are in february however closed. Sadly even here there were, as almost everywhere in Spain, the rooms badly soundproofed and the dining room rather uncomfortable. The small indoor pool was enough, for a few rounds to turn.
The audience while we were there rather 60 upwards, but we didn't mind that. Altogether we felt very well relaxed and with a rental car to the whole island explored on foot. read more

We have the Hipocampo Playa because of the many good reviews and were not disappointed. The hotel is quite newly renovated and well organized, so that hardly any wishes remain open. In february the majority of the guests from pensioners, supplemented by some golfurlauber. The majority came from the german-speaking area.
There is in the entire hotel free wi-fi, the also sufficiently fast (perhaps also the age structure was, because i suspect, that most of the guests the wifi not at all use). read more

I seats just on my room and rate the hotel on my last day.
Here are my comments on the various areas:
The hotel normally. Is really in an extremely good condition. Newly renovated and very clean! On taste however and so i found the hallways to the rooms a modern, nevertheless relatively dark, somewhat overwhelming.
Please note: in the january is the average age at about 60!
The location. Wonderful. At the wonderful beach from Cala Millor, only separated from it by a promenade (so no directly at the beach). To the next 'spar '/ supermarket it was about ... 4-6 minutes on foot. To the center with various bars and shops around 10 minutes away on foot. Drivers in streets around the hotel will be turned off.
The service., and here i am speaking in particular from the reception, i was good, but not very communicative and little warm notice. Unfortunately i came in Cala Millor with fever and a infection on. Apparently i have terrible looked, as i before the two brown curled women the front desk stood. While a my key ready made, she was with the other, then fast you program (breakfast etc.) Runterzurattern. Little later i asked, where i as a large bottle of water for my tablets can buy. Somewhat peeved was called it then, but i should to the bar go and i as a glass water order. (it shall be prohibited, drinks and food from the outside with to the hotel to take-i read then in the room in the hotel brochure to.) My boyfriend called later again to, for i put through and on its demand, which possibilities it locally give, i, to help, he got the sentence said' we are a hotel and a hospital! '. I think it simply unfortunately, have a smile, a 'welcome' and maybe a little bit of understanding / willingness to help was enough for us.-(
The service in the restaurant was okay, however also not warm or personally. Unfortunately i had the first morning 5 minutes wait, anyway the empfangsfrau to, give me my table to show. She said, that they just come back, filled then but only several things after, so i, in the middle of the room, a bit lost case.
Dining (breakfast). I thought that was a good: bread, eggs, omelet, cheese, small choice of fruits, coffee, tea, sparkling wine. Great!
Sport /entertainment/ pool. Was very on the target group 60 and laid out. Evenings schunkelmusik, at of the lobby Andrea Berg and when activity in the morning, taking blood pressure.
The pool, the saunas and umkleidenbereich is also like everything very clean. Nevertheless unfortunately also for my needs way too small. For quick jump it is okay, but for a wellness vacation in the winter for me it was rather unsatisfying. I was before in the Grupotel Playa de Palma suites & spa, this wellness temple is the unfortunately not comparable. The sauna is located right in the passage area to massages, to the pool, dressing area, and so can every through the windowpane look, the past is.
The rooms. I found super nice: size just perfect, top renovated, big balcony. I had a lateral view of the sea-great! Great renovated! However i had a bath tub with shower's wall from glass. At the cover hangs a red heat lamp, really comfortable. And there is a heating, just in the cold january great! The only problem: between the bathroom and room is a sliding door, not correctly closed and again and again from alone rises. I would not only been, it would bother me.

A great hotel, the very ambitious management. The handling of complaints was extremely accommodating. About the food was not saved. Great kitchen!
Very pleasant staff.
Criticism: the dinner-tables could have been more space between is needed. It was doomed, the entire vacation relatively close to a foreign, a definitely not matching neighbors/ neighbour to spend. All the one took gladly in purchase because of the good other qualities of the hotel. read more
