After the first complaint I received a double room in the 20. Floor the view was modest, however has a great view on the terrace on the top floor. The distance to the Bund really cozy 'within' walking distance, the immediate vicinity rather gloomy, with exception of the immediate next to 'old quarter'. The rooms are relatively large, had its best days already behind itself.
breakfast is really reasonable (chinese & West), the breakfast room was uncomfortable.
the food in the restaurant you can forget- exception the Shanghai-pasta (very delicious).
for a short trip I would definitely recommend the hotel ... for sure book here again! read more

so all in all, considering the price, this is a great place to stay and the shopping area and the colorful were just a few minutes away. The rooms were clean and okay the breakfast was not the bringer and didn't have a lot of variety but one can be overlooked if everything else is true if you only about three days stay the hotel is a really good choice
Watch the taxi drivers noticed absolutely blind did not speak English, use their own language almost not read and understand. We wanted to stay in the port to International cruise ... terminal but that was difficult, although we this on Chinese writing of the reception. The taxi driver was four people reasoned and yet it is passed, but in the end we had to show him the way. read more
