Not too big hotel (150 rooms) with very well maintained decor. Cleanliness everywhere. The breakfast (continental) a bit basic. You can choose between buffet and the waiter service. Many guests from France, hardly German guests read more

excellent Greenwich village location. 100 meters from the next U-train station. For 7 $taxi to the center. Excellent environment restaurants, bars, a real scene and cultural meeting point. Upscale Wohnumgebung.

The hotel is located in immediate vicinity of Wahington Square. Soho and other beautiful areas are within walking distance. Good access from the subway line and lots of nice restaurants nearby. The hotel itself has a very good restaurant, but that we didn't go there. The room rate is a very good breakfast included. Fresh fruit salad, orange juice muffins Baguels etc. Eggs must be separately ordered and paid for. The rooms are quite small. A queen Sizebed for 2 persons tight. read more

Metro near, several lines of 2 stops allow easy accessibility from Ground Zero, harbor, Chinatown, Little Italy (very close, as the apartments are situated right in the village, a stop after Chelsea) to Manhattan's north in the high-street (about 42 times Square) to uptown Central Park. The neighborhood is quiet, no skyscrapers, no robotic there staring and stressed Bankmitarbeiter, almost on the floor, but slow and relaxing Stroll tread after a busy day or a hectic tour. Lots of shops and restaurants, some 24 -hours and partly cheap (after the economic crisis has become! ), You could wonderfully Chinese, Mexican ..., texanisch, Argentinian, and And And Food or ice cream food or Picnic at the Washington Square Park (the hotel offers custom prepared offsite can take advantage of varying sizes and price ranges). Within the park benches and tables, which you just food, but also read a book, write a postcard Or can fall asleep, as some did. The hotel offers an exceptional incl. breakfast from, but one should it without a scowl puppy how it is. With one exception (didn't and filled you sit on suitcases) all of the staff were helpful, with restaurant recommendations, maps, directions, providing Airport transfer or also theater tickets, very very patient and understanding. If you didn't deaf is and the sound (cars, mehrtönige sirens of fire, police and emergency services) not directly wants to see for a room on the 8th floor. Or 9 Floor (higher, it is not this district) in this probably preserved and cared about 100 year old house ask. Wishing is met if possible. Beautiful Art Deco Lounge and front desk, as well as pictures and photographs of Hollywood celebrities everywhere, also in the rooms - give the place a additional Note. Famous artists Bob Dylan, have stayed there some time ago, for Städtebesuche ideally located only the air conditioning was a bit noisy and the many steps and narrow elevators are for the handicapped (not suitable for wheelchair users). If you enjoy walking, it's easy to navigate, otherwise very good for excursions and sightseeing find an ideal start and an equally good and relaxing provide refuge from the hectic went back in the evening from other parts of the city. Manhattan. In the room you will find an iron and ironing board, internet connection, TV, telephone, bathrobe, and umbrella (you never know! ), which you also for an extra charge, if you feel like it, as souvenir to Europe. read more

A little off right next to the park. The highlights for you had to walk or by metro, but a bit quieter and beautiful surroundings. This hotel is a very good recommendation for the New York city break. We would stay there again when we visit New York. Absolute highlight serves breakfast, which includes fresh fruit cereal and breads. So no need to look for morning. read more
