Hotel Beis Beach & Blue Bay^{(3.5 stars)}

We had an apartment. The size was sufficient for 3 people. The furniture was somewhat meager Article in the kitchen was rather not, there is no phone because the management was broken. Air conditioning and heating available and in good working.

There was not a very large selection, but made up for it was the food and that there was delicious. There was a salad buffet, then warm meals and a dessert buffet. Evenings one had to be paid for drinks. Kitchen style was more international than Greek. The atmosphere was very relaxed, even if you wait a few minutes to get a table in the restaurant available.

The service was very good: Every day the cleaning of the room was very nice and thorough. The floors were swept every day and every 2. Day hand towels were changed. The front desk a good along with German, if there are any problems.

The hotel beach was a sandy beach, with a strip gravel, so not so pleasant on the way to the water. But the water was very clear, but unfortunately not too warm, which is basically at the season you couldn't expect (23°). For beach chairs you had to pay for (2 euro) and there was no sun protection. The pool was colder than the sea, looked but still very clean.

The hotel area was very neat and clean. Rooms are very simply furnished, but the cleaning lady came every day but very reliable. Towels replaced every 2nd day. Day changed and the floor swept every day. We also gave tips.

The hotel was very well located on the beach. Although this was full of gravel but not too crowded and very pleasant. It was only a few minutes to the town and there you could find everything you need. All kinds of restaurants and various small shops and larger supermarket. Many excursions we had given by our tour operator, but still a small way to private diving (Scuba diving - very good advice and introduction, personable, good German skills, a very nice experience).

We had a studio. Means: bed, closet, chair and bathroom available! The so-called kitchenette was more utensils. If you wish to be self-catering so if you bring everything! Refrigerator and two-ring cooker worked ... Fortunately we had a room at the rear of the hotel. So we did not hear any music from speakers and Kofferlärm. Air conditioning very weak, but worked! Witnesses of Mückenmasakar blood spots on the wall in the night. Safe was in the room, but we could not overpriced 35€ a small boxes for hire at reception. So not worth it!

Which was puzzling, handling Halbpensionsgästen! Half-board = green, yellow or red wristband, all in = nothing! We carried the wristband with notice not, therefore, we had all inclusive for lau! No waiters or chef, the waiter standing around, all in the restaurant could who is available when where what eating and drinking! You are not allowed to congratulate the system! Breakfast was beans, eggs, dry bread, bacon and everything else English so morning in purely Stopper (with the exception of beer! ) Evening, the food was good. There was always fresh salad, meat, fish, noodles and/or potato and dessert. No 4 star kitchen, but we were satisfied!

They were all nice and helpful. It was only English spoken. Our room was cleaned every day except Sunday and was up in the last corner extremely clean (we even dare to watch under the bed ... Dust and Dreckfrei!!! ) So room service top. TV was broken, and the laundry was promptly replaced, which the front desk of German channels unfortunately not improved (but who watches on holiday away?!? )

Not used but they laughed: The tennis court in the parking lot of the house! 2 Pools are available. Beach chairs and umbrellas for free and plentiful. Internet access: 50 cents for 8 minutes!!

Nice, clean, extensive bungalow area with green garden! The hotel was 3 years closed and opened in 2010 until May. A lot has been renovated and fixed. If everything is finished, it's a beautiful hotel! We were very happy for the price. Which we found to be the most bother us what the English food!

Great location right on the beach. At the center of village about 15 minutes. Walk! The beach directly in front of the hotel rocky, but quiet. 10 Minutes more starts sand/pebble beach. This is the best beach chairs and an umbrella from the tavernas, you just have to rent a bit stuff! We had a rental car and were able all over the island.

The food was unbelievably bad. There was always the same for breakfast. Scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs (in fat toasting machine), cheese, cold cuts, Nutella, bacon and beans. Dinner: every day, pasta in oil only so swim. I had to always only skimming you book in advance. Rice fish and other not identify. The food was cold every day. Dessert there were always fresh salad and otherwise I would say like to eat out.

The hotel staff are very friendly but they speak only english as 90 % of the visitors from the UK.

When we arrived the front desk gave us a room on the ground floor even though we rented a room with a balcony. Throughout the hotel, only English was spoken so was the communication with the hotel staff rather complicated. The room has been a siege by hundreds of mosquitoes, the A/C did not work and it had the feeling there 70 degrees in this room. The bathroom was incredibly dated. Tiles were beat out together, the mirror was repaired and the toilet was brown. Just disgusting. So we went down to the desk to ask for a new room. We were told that the hotel was fully booked and they are just past a plumber chic to take a look at the AC. We stood our right, after all we also booked a room with air conditioning and balcony. At once we got another room in the main building. However, what a surprise, the lift broken. Then let us keep our 20 kilos heavy bags alone carry the stairs. In the new room air conditioning worked and it was really nice cool in the room. The bathroom was one had to be the somewhat newer in the hotel, but if you want to shower you had to hold the shower head itself, as it was no holder. There was often that only cold water coming out of the shower or brown water. When I wanted to go to bed at night and my linens high upscale have felt a spider contrary to the under my bedspread. Very tasty. All rooms are equipped with: color satellite TV. One received stations. There is also a small fridge in the room.

The hotel is right on the beach and along the beach promenade and beach bars are everywhere cafes the especially at night are very nice. The city Acharavi is in 15 minutes to reach by foot. In the guide is valid that fine Sandkiesstrand is in front of the hotel. You have to go searching for the sand, the gravel. They are big white stones, walk very painful. 2 Leagues were shown + umbrella cost 5 euros on the beach. For the price you can't complain about that. Next to the hotel is directly a small supermarket where you everything from alcohol spread. Cigarettes (3.90 Euro) sunscreen and fresh rolls etc get.

Our room was located in the main building on the first floor. The elevator didn't work, was a floor, but it is certainly the only negative. Our room was clean, relatively large (we had a small kitchen, not a normal double room), nice balcony. The furniture was relatively new. Our bathroom was fine, no complaints, except that no window was available in the bathroom is permanently safe problematic with the humidity. Our room was cleaned every day. It seems we hit lucky with room. The air-conditioning was more bad than good work, really cool air there was only one day. The room was not safe as they wiggled because of the balcony. We had booked half-board. Breakfast was annoying, very English, and when we wanted to no in fat floating eggs or bacon etc. , was one humble selection of coating or yogurt/cereal. The coffee was good. The restaurant itself is pleasant, you could sit inside or outside on the terrace. Dinner was better and varied, except for the salad. The salad was but always very, very good. On the main courses had to be careful: You can get busy danebenliegen. We did find something to eat that was tasty. In especially negative remembrance are with the soups. I was, after reading the previous comments made by the hotels, expecting the worst but in hindsight my stay at the hotel. The hotel was optically beautiful to look at, has a beautiful lobby, furnished deck is well-designed, the garden is nice. Everything looks well maintained and clean.

The beach is 13 seconds away, you have to cross a road with light traffic. It is right outside a pebble beach, after Acharavi or Roda there but there are always more sand. An acceptable sandy beach direction Acharavi could be reached in about 7 - 10 minutes walk. In the water itself is sand. The whole along the beach there is cafes and restaurants, excursions and more sports, close to the hotel you can shop, cheaper in Acharavi shopping in the big supermarkets. Until then it is a bit. The center is also in Acharavi 10-15 minutes, in Roda in 15 minutes. There are a lot of sun beds by free from 2.50 to 5 euros rich. Annoying, that no shade is available, unless you are paying for an umbrella. The care of TUI is very good, but if you book a trip with local companies, it is half the price.

The rooms are extremely noisy. The outdoor use starts at 8:45 with Greek radio and 80 's hits (several times every day "99 Red Baloons" from Nena) and was more than clearly heard. n't even think about sleep. You also regularly by arriving or departing guests every day and night waking nonetheless. The furniture is super cheap and not functional. A damaged furniture was replaced immediately. The particle board sources in the bathroom. There are two pools, tennis court, two billiard tables and a small children's playground for children under three years. The main pool is crowded, the plastic dirty and the sound equipment just awful bad. The second pool was closed, the first week in the second shall be released. The beach chairs were not just dirty, but also defective (could not be folded against). Drinks from the main pool you had to get at the other end of the complex. The hotel consists of a main building and a separate number via the garden area. The area was spread over a narrow line from the beach in the rear of the hotel. Direct beach location, narrow pebble beach, sand in the sea, very flat. Nice sunset. The two rows of beach chairs at the quiet beach is good and cheap. 5,00 Euros for two beach chairs and an umbrella with small tables. If you too close to the pool bar is, annoying may be the beat. The hotel location makes a unkempt and moldy impression. The hotel is current undergoing every year the name, formerly called it "Corfu Garden Village" and "Exa Beach". Our room looked newly remodeled and was clean. Air conditioning was available and worked. Once there was a power outage and a little construction noise, it will be still undergoing renovation.

For us the food was ok. The one or other anspruchsvollerem guy too cold, or , some of the food not enough lovingly prepared. There is the mentioned other options.

German channels had we not, the Austrian SAT 1 , but the last 2 days suddenly could not receive. On the Sunday was the Formula 1 Race in the lobby of the hotel. Unfriendly staff there, they were already helpful them stop just say what it is.

We played tennis once, because it was mostly too hot for sport. Otherwise there was action with darts, water polo and billiards. Mini market and on the other side supermarket are available.

In the morning for breakfast it was always the same food, at night there more variety. Each served buffet style. I think there was fish always the same, meat was then more variety. The guests were very mixed. Dutch, English, German is probably the most common Nation. The ages from young to old everything available.

The location is great - right on the sea front, over a narrow street just simply go into the ocean and you can jump. Pebble beach but after 2 or 3 feet in the ocean it became sandy. Beach chairs cost 5€/day ( 2 beach chairs +1Schirm) If you don't like the hotel food find alternatives along the sea. Also in the town which are quite close enough restaurants, cafes ( free I-net) and souvenir stores. Excursions could be booked order local providers. Highly recommended for all the intensive like to experience the island, or the hotel not so appealing. A Badepark with plenty of water slides wasn't so far away and can be explored on foot about 15 minutes.

The size of the room was great, really great are also the almost sound-proofed doors and windows. We had no mosquitoes in our room. The air conditioning you could help yourself. The furniture was new and bright. We had a white mini kitchen in the superior rooms. A safe could be rented at the reception. About 15 Euro for a week. The safe subjects are next to the reception.

There was a restaurant with a terrace in the breakfast. and dinner is served. There is full English breakfast but also continental. Evenings there was local cuisine ( always fish, lamb, pork), a salad buffet, and a dessert buffet always with ice. It tasted very good to us, and everything was done very well.

Very nice staff. On the day of arrival we arrived at 22 o'clock in the hotel. Immediately someone came and had brought cold drinks were waiting for us. The front desk is generally spoke English spoken. The manager understands German too. Additional want, such as new towels were honored immediately.

If you want a holiday on the exclusively before a pool in this hotel, we didn't really spend. Also serves the beach chairs by towel to reserve and there is certainly not enough sun loungers for everyone. At the beach there were beach chairs to rent. For 5 euro per day there were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. The beach chairs will carry everywhere we wanted to go.

We had booked half-board. Our superior room was a terrace. The room was cleaned every day. Most of the guests came from England, followed by France and a few from Germany. Children were overall very few.

From Corfu airport to the hotel is a bus shuttle service - about 60 minutes the hotel is located in the quiet outskirts of Acharavi. The beach"promenade" is right on the doorstep. pebble beach in front of the hotel is a few meters farther there's sandy beach. Beach shoes were good. The sea floor is however sandy.
