Modernized 4 star hotel on the edge of town of adelboden-village with its own philosophy (no unnecessary 4-star of knick-knack, but cheaper price). Whether in the detail so harmonious, left undecided. Seems but proved to have. Cheap i found it not, the price comparison of adelboden but probably still the cheapest among the 4 star hotels. With approximately 120 beds still acceptable size, particularly since one personal atmosphere is endeavored. Child-friendly house, many families; to our time almost exclusively dutch and swiss guests, some italians and belgians, hardly german; age structure otherwise 30-60 years. The dutch dominance may also on ... the dutch management be the result. Bookable with breakfast or half board. Half-board supplement not cheap but definitely recommendable. Parking is a must, but there is an optional outdoor o. garage parking. For children large, well-stocked games room, pool table and Kicker. Nice bar area, the lounge serves. Completely unobtrusive bar service. Large ski cellar (the but also was full ), unfortunately without shoe heating. Overall very well maintained house with pleasant atmosphere. read more

    The corridors with large, the outside doors rinnerten first at gefängnisflure with zellentüren. Behind this meant but a nice large room with comfortable beds and decent seating area, flat-screen tv and stiliertem electric fireplace. Marble style bathroom with a tub and curtain, unfortunately only a sink and toilet not separately. Mini bar gave it not (philosophy of the hotel!) , but vending machine on the corridor. Large übereckbalkon. Room always clean.

    Large restaurant, very stylish, also outside guests is accessible. No fixed tischzuteilung, which surprisingly never a problem represented. The breakfast buffet was good 4 star standard. The sausage choice was well arranged and almost not variable, that small special requests (for example fried eggs) charged extra is annoying and not understandable. Freshly squeezed orange juice would have been nice. A great good: self-service at the coffee machines with different coffees. The half board menu consisted of 4 courses, with three starters and three main courses to the selection stood next to a salad buffet with at least 18 different salads. The menus were exceptionally imagination and lovingly arranged, tasted definitely above average. Therefore: half board as recommendation, once there was fondu, once dessert buffet. Sazberkeit and hygiene in the restaurant perfect.

    The friendliness, helpfulness and unobtrusive courtesy all staff was exemplary. Entirely informal dealing. Always make an effort wishes to fulfill, advisory and circumstances to fix it. We had no complaints.

    Pool there was no (philosophy of the hotel!) , strange was first, that the sauna extra cost. The proved but in the end it is cheap, because it almost individual saunagenuß guaranteed. Small sauna and danpfbad, jacuzzi for an extra fee. Bathrobe and slippers are in free use of the sauna provided. Large relaxation room with wet bar (coffee, tea, water); plunge pool, fusion showers. Shower in the sauna area you could wish.

    The hotel is located in a very quiet area on the edge of town the village of adelboden. The main street with all of the shops is 100 metres away, as is the aldelbodener cable car, a zubringergondel to tiefergelegenen sillerenbahn, but as eye proves. About 500 meters to tschentenbahn in the middle of the town and about 800 meters to the bus station. Who only breakfast booked has several restaurants nearby.

We were for the 2. time in the hotel. In advance: the following points of criticism are possibilities of improvement. Altogether this but nevertheless rather lower points, altogether the hotel you can recommend a lot. Basically it is okay and the price straight still reasonable (as long as the prices not be increased). It is very nice, also well situated, however is close proximity to ski lift relatively. It is a dorfbahn cable car, the only correct gondola and very little capacity. If another hotel ski bus right to the gondola offers, it depends on the same out. Unfortunately there ... is no continuous mattresses for couples, only single mattresses. The rooms are sufficient large and with a safe, but very warm at night and you can even the heater not rules. Furthermore the ceilings very thick. It is only, the window to open. The provides for good mountain air, is however not enrgiesparend (and if you do not know, you can sleep on the first night because of the wärem only once not). Because it no mini bar gives (the i never use), you can however also things only on the balcony (in case available) cool. Well, is, that there is a safe returns ( komplieziert to use and one must know, that different than usual you didn't get the code every time new must enter). The food is good to very good, but for feinschmeckerqualität is still a bit whistle. The side dishes with the menus (meat, fish, vegetarian) are mostly identical and therefore not always very suitable. The quality is however almost always very good (once i had easily zäheres meat, but i was the only at the table, the keep coming i under this is nature). The quality the tea is however absolutely not the otherwise high the quality of the place. The open wines are recommendable, the closed quite expensive. In the bathroom was sometimes a bit paper provided and empty tissues were not noticed. In the shower/bath tub you should as usual holder on circa room spraying courses anbringe, for the safety. Otherwise everything in the bathroom was very good. It is only regional newspapers, no of high quality transregional newspapers, neither ch from d ( nzz, f. a. for). Sauna and parking (the latter compulsory) costs extra. Check out is quite early (10:30 a. m.). The request, from the bus station pick up was due to the lack of capacity at the time and with reference to taxi not met. Comprehensible, however also not 'super -service'. Tip: if you at the skiing from haupskigebiet without bumping into each other in valley exit want, from äbi the route 55 to take. From hanenmoss you get there but only with toast on geils - berläger or on a bit steep, but for all except beginner feasible red slopes 55 from the lavey. (not from hahnenmoos after of silleren the slope take, the goes upward!, the is badly signposted.). The only blue slopes 28 or 29 from metschstand down is at the end actually (to brenngen ) black, although blue signs. read more

We stayed at this Hotel Erholung relaxation experience. The staff were super friendly, from the reception to the service we have never it appeared face seen and all questions we got competent and friendly information. Every evening we could on the great Supper looking forward to it, the always tasted excellently and great presented. As daily between 3 appetizers, 3 menus and various desserts to choose from, we noticed the choice mostly not easy. The only 'negative' was the strong and relatively cool air ventilation in the bathroom. Altogether the hotel we can however definitely recommendable and with repeated walking ... holiday in adelboden certainly again into the steinmattli come. read more

Hotel- and restaurant service are great, excellent cuisine ( Gourmet level), nearly food fans are in the wrong place, Unfortunately have paid fulsome tribute to many male guests with its more than casual dress code for dinner the tasteful atmosphere of this four star hotels not given due recognition. The service staff is very friendly and competent. The design of the hotel was very tastefully decorated in a modern alpine style and the view of the restaurant on the mountains is breathtaking. The proximity of the cable car stations and free outdoor pool with 25° warm water values hotel enormously. read more

Our expectations at hotel and staff were totally outreached. From the service to front desk and kitchen to the boss of the hotel everything was great. Even as the Dutch with the euro from the race were, Had not changed. Sometime we are coming again! read more

Adelboden has in the immediate area not the highest mountains, but for one-day hikes this place is just perfect. The card for several cable cars and the bus galeri in karaburun it was quite clean for everyone. It is because of the price in Switzerland very advisable half board to book. The food was really delicious and diverse. read more

Very friendly staff, central location and modern restaurant in the 'Alps chic' style. Very transparent what the prices are concerned, everything is in the detail listed. We are very much looking forward to go back adelboden the steinmattli. read more

the hotel lies good and central, nevertheless quiet. Price-performance is OK, but also not cheap (from German view rather expensive; in comparison to other swiss hotels in adelboden reasonable to cheap). Personally, I would rather for a good three star hotel as for a four-star hotel hold, but the hotel prides itself so, not to do all of that, which four star hotels have, the prices lower to keep, as mentioned I think the price not cheap, but adequate. The parking (TG) costs extra and on arrival by car obligatory (8 CHF/day), so for the majority of the guests the ... prices a little higher than shown. read more

    room and bathroom are for 4 stars appropriately large and modern with balcony and flat screenTV and a hair dryer, but except for the safe also nothing special. Mountain view depending on the location, then but also costs more. There are two single beds, the United. Choice of rooms with single and double beds would be better. Ceilings are probably no duvets, so that it sometimes very warm at night and you sweated ( pillows on request already).

    the breakfast was good, every morning scrambled egg with ham; rolls, Croissants; the choice of drinks very good (tip to the hotelier: A manual, warm milk for the very good Chocolate to get both as long as you press the button must, as well as, the Abstellgitter turn up must, would be useful). the dinner was also good. There is the possibility, good wines at 0.5 liter for about 17-23 CHF to order, this is reasonable. Water is as in all restaurants overpriced (the is however no special criticism of the hotel).

    The service was all in all good, the staff very friendly. However would have advertised trip there and back with the coach expected, that the transport to the bus station is offered, the by car in 5 minutes reachable is. At least is a small Bottle mineral water in the room to the greetings. Good chocolate, you in the restaurant to the beach, could one also on the pillows beach chairs, it would not cost more '/attentions which make'.

    The sauna costs extra, this is actually not anymore, only quite not in four stars and SwissQ well being. If on the other hand but the prices raised would, I pay rather extra. I have, for lack of time, not used. The fitness room is free, than skiers you need but not. Balcony has two chairs, but no chairs.

    the hotel lies close to the village main station from which one then in the mountain railway the largest winter sports region can change. Unfortunately, the dorfbahn cable car from the capacity is not adequate, so that you often have to wait (in the winter sports region not really). At least a Abfahrtsweg from the hotel or the Dorfstation the actual mountain railway would be good and would be snow the dorfbahn release, the is however naturally hardly in orbit of the hotel.

very good hotel, that offers everything what a pleasant Winter vacation belongs. if you want to wellness area with all important must look elsewhere, however Basic offer available. nearby the Zubringerbahn the however at certain times( skiing schools ) patience requires. Before 09:15 OK. hotel has as an alternative for 'late' reasonable bus service directly into the winter sports region offered( valley station Aebi) very nice bar area. Very good, varied food (always salad buffet, once dessert buffet and once meator cheese fondue), very nice breakfast buffet. rooms and balcony with comfortable chairs. Whole House Wi-Fi (-/ week) friendly ..., helpful staff. we will be back! read more

We were for the second time this year, and once again very satisfied. The review from June this year is Nothing more to add. Our company, got a double room, a single person the, which we thought was very accommodating. So we were able to live side-by-side and that was great., if we should visit again adelboden, then to the steinmattli. read more

I can highly recommend the hotel, it was exactly what we were looking for to. I thought it was particularly pleasant, that the hiking pass is included in the price, as well as the 4-course menu in the evening. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very good. read more
