Beautiful solide hotel below the coastal road, about 70 kilometers away from Heraklion airport.
Approximately 80 rooms in 3 storey construction. Desirability a room on the upper floors, since it down but in your rooms quite dark (and in some rooms a bit musty) is.
We could various rooms look and decided ultimately for a spacious family room ( without an extra charge!) in the middle floor, since in the upper floor unfortunately no rooms more available were.
In the room we had a very nice, spacious balcony, which is also a small bit out of the sea could see ...-)
The safe costs 25 Euro for fourteen days, the air conditioning we didn't need it, the costs would be 5 Euro per day. Fridge ( with freezer) and TV were without fee.
Bathroom with a window and bath tub ( no shower curtain- Caution flood after showering). The fittings were plentiful worn but intact, so that it continued to disturb us not.
The room had a very pleasant size of approximately 25 meters², on the 3. Bed was great things drop. The car noise from the nearby located coastal road did not bother us, firstly, it was not so loud, secondly, we have with the window closed slept and at the beach you can hear it, since it the sound of waves be drowned out.
Mosquitoes there was strangely in September no, so no mosquito spray was necessary.
Small TV with a German program ( ZDF) where it was great also from the balcony from soccer ( and of course if necessary also other.) could watch.
Negative reviews due to lack of cleanliness we couldn't understand. We were once accidentally present, as the landlady (the way on a small tip very happy ) the room purged, and it was very thorough and conscientious! Towels every 2 days and the bed linen every 3 days changed.
The hotel is beautiful and clean, the pool is early morning on the most thorough cleaned. Only the dried flowers on the rebates, as well as the dirty disks in the dining room and the tavern the minimal cons, we here enumerate could.
The hotel accommodates tourist from lots of different Nations: Russians, Italian, German, Austrians, Hungary, Poland, Czech republic, Slovaks amongst others more. The handling together is amicable, you can very quickly contacts. Unfortunately made the Russian tourist in terms of ' vile usual quirks such as culinary practices' their bad reputation once again all honour. Their bad habit, at the beach day and night the loungers with towels to occupied, although she only a few hours or not any time there spent, was unacceptable.
The food in the hotel was good. Had to the food often be seasoned, but it was always tasty and the variety was adequate. Who however a Schnitzel and fries- Fan is, you should not check in!
In the drinks- all inclusive program there were juices, Cola, water, white and red wine ( which even enjoyable was ), beer Raki and Ouzo ( however not for 'my good friends').
The staff were 1 star. Like that something from friendly, accommodating and competent ( partly. Multi-lingual), just great. This has the wellbeing atmosphere of the hotel shaping. Ate ( unfortunately took the bus ride from the airport an hour and a half, due to several before anzufahrender hotels) we got even after 23:00 o'clock from a friendly night porter yet food and drinks free of charge.
Over the location of the hotel one can only say: great!
Right next to the sea with such a fantastic view of both from the terrace the dining room and from the terrace the hotel's own tavern on the waves. Sayful beautiful!

The clean(!) beach is literally in front of the house - respectively hotel door. Unfortunately is access to the sea over a long distance really extremely rocky (partly very large rock-Brocken, where you really beautiful hurts can) and really only with Badeschuhenzu deal. Crystal Clear water and a varied and colorful Fischwelt, you should definitely not the snorkel- Utensils forget!

Unfortunately ' dies' the area around the hotel so slow \u2639 taverns and a club had already closed, so that the way from the hotel some ruins lined.
The place skaleta is only several hotels and few supermarkets. The next -a family-run hotel is about 5 minutes away on foot from the hotel and quite expensive, a somewhat larger supermarket is on the other side the coastal road, about 10 minzu foot and a little bit reasonably priced.
By bus ( bus station on the coastal road about 200 meters away from the hotel) erreichtman in about 1 hour the very nice Port Rethymnon. Bus tickets you get in supermarket for 1.50 Euro per way.
50% recommendation for this great hotel are definitely too few! If you are not details disturbs and quiet and relaxed vacation in friendly atmosphere spend, is right at home here! read more

The location right by the sea is dreamlike. Every evening during dinner there is a sunset free. The staff are totally friendly, the dishes are not stunning, but OK, luckily many salad and vegetables. A romantic Bay with gravel at the beach and unfortunately many closed taverns and a small chapel right next to the sea. There were already times better days here, everything getting a bit old, but nevertheless a morbider charm enchanted still the guests. read more

Relaxing and cheap vacation, unfortunately not very clean, unfortunately to the complex! In the immediate vicinity there were some ruins. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. For me this holiday was pure relaxation. There is a nice pool, where you can sun all day, the sea is not far away, the staff was very friendly and it is very much a matter of the tourists received the jars. For children there is loads to do such as table tennis, water volleyball, tennis, basketball, etc. for me the buffet was very delicious, clear my could expect no restaurant level, but the price, performance ratio was very good and also, if many dishes were similar, the buffet was varied. The rooms were very clean and towels were changed ... regularly. The pool was cleaned, it was early in the morning (before breakfast), so that the tourists received nothing and not disturbed. I can recommend this vacation to those, who really want to relax and want to go out, for people, every night and party this holiday is not suitable, as this hotel, was a bit too isolated from discos is. But the view of the beautiful sunset and the incredibly clear water, makes any criticism again completely wet. Suitable for snorkeling whoever. Not suitable for tourists with requirements. Food in the hotel is very monotonous and often not enjoyable. With the bus one comes everywhere on Crete. Insider tip in the end: bali beach in about ten kilometer away from the hotel, bus runs for 1.70 euro. read more

Never again in this hotel. Absolutely wonderful. Luckily we had booked only one week with all-inclusive, otherwise I doubt we didn't starve or die of thirst. There was some good pizzerias nearby. Worth the price. Shops, bars, anything is within walking distance. Car hire recommended: few rent offices nearby. Relatively nice beaches with fresh water showers and sea turtles nests are pretty close with almost no people. read more

That was our first vacation as a couple and the was very bad. The food was disgusting always the same every day.
The staff were not very friendly except for the gardener ( Caretaker) and the bartender were very friendly and pleasant persons. The bathroom was dirty and full of lime. In the five days we were there was a good cleaning. The beach was full of trash. Well I would never spend another vacation there, the hotel is simple terrible. read more

For tourists the it like something out of the way but family like, just right. It is no hotel and the is also good Sunday one has no tourists in the environment and therefore it is very quiet. If you want to do something, has one but a good bus connection to the next larger city to come in. The room are not the most modern but adequate. The food is unfortunately not very varied.
The staff is very nice, helpful and family. We had a very beautiful, relaxing and quiet holiday. read more

well laid out hotel, but extremely dated with partly dangerous faults, for example, broken steps at the poolleiter, pool not cleaned, mold in the bathroom, very poor cleaning of the room. The food was always the same and not at all tastes, children fed almost only bread and pastries. Entertainment for children as such is not to describe. Events can be found only Tuesday night otherwise no variety can be booked at the hotel. Even billiards only for a fee. The entire beach in the place is totally trashy and smells terrible. From dirty nappies, document binding, broken bottles, household ... waste everything was available. It was the worst holiday we had during our stay. read more

Because we were last year so go back to Begeti Bay in the relaxed, we were there this year. Didn't even want to go on and on, as the rating would almost as well as last year and this is still there to be read. Unlike last year there were a lot of Russian guests there, many than Famiele icy and not noticeable. But there were also exceptions, there were already some women could drunk in the morning and of course all the days notice. All inclusive at 2:30 PM, before you got everything open up in the bar ... ( restaurant). The hotel was in some places needs a bit of updating, but there is even worse. If you don't want to hype, travelers. We had a car for a few days and excursions on its own ourselves. We will definitely be back!!! read more
