Great hotel with very clean and spacious rooms. Although we only two nights there was every morning the room thoroughly cleaned and fresh towels laid out. The free use of Wi-Fi possible (although in the room only partially due to bad receipt barness). A small flat screen LCD TV with German channels and a balcony completed a great stay from! A must is a visit to in the hotel's own restaurant. The pizzas are simply world class! read more

Informal small hotel with decent amenities. I had the hotel for one night in the port at a crossing of the Alps and was especially from the very good cuisine the attached restaurants enthusiastic. The rooms are functional and clean. The train station as well as a bus stop towards the center lie directly in front of the house. For short stay definitely recommendable. read more

We will definitely come back to the Cavallino! Our advice to all the love: in the pizzeria again! The best pizza! Price/performance ratio of the hotel more than fair! Friendliness of the staff cannot be beat! Since the bus station directly in front of the house you can leave the car during the stay at the free car park. We can recommend the house unlimited! read more

We stayed for one night as a stop off at the hotel. Is located directly on the train, but failed to take our time. To the centre of Merano it is about 1 kilometer walk. The Italian restaurant in the hotel we didn't used, the breakfast was very wide with everything you can imagine. Internet was free with hrs-otherwise 5, -EURO per day. Parking garage was at the day unfortunately completely occupied, as a horse racing took place. There were about five parking spaces directly at the hotel. If they are full, you can park directly diagonally across the street ... at the train station for free without tow. Very good traffic connections to Bolzano directly on the highway. The Hotel manager was very friendly and explained gladly excursions, restaurants, etc. a map with explanation at the front desk we. The hotel is a short get away for absolutely recommendable if you don't want to spend right in the centre but it should be reasonably Central. read more
