The hotel is ideally located-nearby the Firstbahn and Pfingsteggbahn. The restaurant is comfortable and known for various specialties: Italian cuisine, very good pizza and specialties such as suckling pig fresh from the grill and Gizzi (young goat). The wine list leaves every lovers Italian wines dream! The staff are accommodating and very nice and the host is omnipresent-safe a reason with, that always locals as well at the comfortable bar sit.
In short: the Capricorn is worth a trip! read more

1. the hotel offers on-site parking. Oh well, we were a total of nine people over the weekend with a bus traveling. Had already not any parking more available. What we would probably just made, if we with private cars were? Helpfulness for other parking possibilities equal zero. This is all very bad happened. Because the hotel knows, as many rooms you have, could you in our opinion after, also plus minus know, such as lots of parking spaces about need or available bodies should, if the large offers on the homepage.
2. Grindelwald is in our opinion one of ... the larger better known resorts of the Switzerland. In a star hotel you should actually expect, that there is a ski storage room with lots of space for skis and not all on a bunch of, and certainly with a room for ski boot heating. When we dannacht asked, was the excuse and very unfriendly: 'the ski storage room is heated'. In our opinion is the point but not much, since the boots under circumstances inside humid and there is a heated room nothing. We were all already much in other hotels and usually such a ski boot heater available.
3. the rooms were good. In the bathroom it was however the mold on the ceiling when the bathtub.
4. the breakfast was not bad, but we know better and with a greater diversity of supply.
Oh well, conclusion about this hotel all of us' never never never in this hotel again. Definitely again after grindewald for skiing. Great ski area with great mountain scenery read more
