The rooms were in the category standard enough. Very nice newly renovated. In the room there was except bed a small box, and a flat screen tv. Bathroom and toilet big enough and neat.

  • Gastronomy

The bar looked very pleasant and was always used. Because of the very high prices we were from out of town for coffee, cocktails and so on.

  • Service

The staff is friendly, it is consistently english spoken. Express american english ☺. The cleaning of the rooms worked daily very good, amenities were not offered. On the day of departure worries someone around the luggage if there still longer detained and demands correspondingly tip a.

The hotel is located perfect in the middle of Manhattan midtown. On foot is very much to reach (examples : Empire State Building, central station, Times Square and so on.) Also in the evening not meant as busy. On the parkavenue just good local ' bread & butter ' for breakfast, then can then the day in Manhattan start. Two roads further subway station.

Room: Extremely small room approximately 10 meters² with a queen size bed (1,40 metres). Window (widow ) in the room it as it would be open. Heating/ air conditioning the volume of a startendem helicopter, noise extremely despite room to the quiet side. Walls paper thin-when the neighbor the heater uses contruction it, as it would with a in the room is possible, quite apart from the, if the neighbours sch or listen to music. You get every word with. We wanted to a different room and had to for the same category, really 'upgrade' are charged, that was ... however negotiable (originally $70 a night, we paid then $20 a night). Actually outrageous, because the category remained the same, however there was a larger bed and the room was a bit bigger. Window and heating remained the same disaster. No mini bar. Staff: Staff edit complaints, apologise but not. Our map to the room had 3 times recharged will, we are never in the rooms old. Instead of a pardon was the sentence ' without id we cannot into the room lassen' (sad if the passport in the room is). 'concierges' are extremely unpleasant, for 2 meters suitcase drag tip. If you say, you will do it yourself, you will be sticky. Food: We have nothing to hotelzugehöriges found. At best the 'zana' next door, that was however always closed. Apart from that there are for breakfast the ' bread and butter ' in 1 minutes reception. Is for breakfast ok, is actually. All of fruit to english breakfast, but you should already minutes with $10 per breakfast and person. The food is in general very expensive, if you don't every day fast food would like to eat. The net deceive always something. But around the corner there was still the 'california kitchen', the is completely okay. McDonald's is also not far away. Location: 29. street/madison ave is a great location. In 5 minutes on Empire State Building and Viktoria secret. To Time Square one runs about 15 minutes to the luxusläden in the 57. corner fifth or Central Park it is 25 minutes to the south to Soho it looks similar. 20 minutes after noho /Soho and 5 minutes in Madison Square Park. In short: i'm a bit surprised by the three stars, because when we booked, it was 4 star. Three star it has barely deserved. read more

Relative expensive, but clean and peaceful. The impression on the photos the hotel's website confirmed, looks everything effectively such as imaged and photographed. We had a big room with 2 double beds. Air conditioning, safe, tv and so on available, only a mini bar missing. Good location close to the the Pearls of Rhodes and 2 subway-stations. Friends of us had in the same hotel a double room with 1 Bett, this rooms are very small. Note: the hotel does not mean more 'Lola', but 'King & grove' read more

This was my second city trip to new York city. First I was in the' hotel 31', which also good and sufficient for such a trip is. Nevertheless the' hotel Lola' better around worlds! Great, modern facilities! And for me really important: very clean! Is the room relatively small, but for new York proportions and a short trip perfectly adequate. If I return to new York fly, I will safety again this hotel book! Good value for money! :-) read more

We booked a superior Queen rooms, as a lot of reviews indicated, that not only in the hotel Lola, but also in all other hotels in new York, the main problem the size of the room is. Via Expedia the Uppgrade has about 10 euros a night/ room, but what it in any case was worth it, because you need definitely evenings a retreat in the you feel comfortable and at the one place for the whole impressions the one during the day in this crazy city has collected able to process. Cleanliness and service were perfect. There was nothing ... to complain about. The style of the hotel was of course matter of taste, but we found it tasty, a little pompous but not too obtrusive. So also perfect. The location is also super: 1 block to the subway (28th street-Green line (Brooklyn Bridge-the Bronx)-3 blocks to Madison Square park & flat Iron building -3 blocks to the Empire State building - a few Blocks more but still within walking distance of Times Square, port authority, Grand central station and much more! For us pedestrians the perfect location, especially as the neighborhood around the hotel very pleasant is. Lots of small bars, cafes, restaurants any art and a 'safe' feeling at night. Food: there are enough each a few Blocks away. Tip: in the 30th street, between Madison and 5 thAv is a small restaurant called Ravagh Persian grill, the is very recommendable, if you no Bock more on pizza and fast food was. Value for money SUPER! Breakfast we can in the hotel comment, but we were regularly 1 block away in the 'bread & Butters ' where everything is what your heart desires. Prices okay and furthermore it is directly at the subway which perfect starting point for the day. Shop in new York is so expensive as everywhere in the major cities. The only thing the dollar is-Euro class A a few Euros save. Who correctly shop and it wants to save, drove best as we were in a neighboring outlet-Mall. For example Jersey gardens in new Jersey (a airport NEWARK). There one arrives by bus of 'port authority' bus 111 gate 222. There and back 13 $per person duration about 45 minutes Drives every half hour/ hour. Is worthwhile really (if you enough time in new York )! Or whoever it small and in Manhattan may, goes to CENTURY21 nearby wall street. In short: Great hotel! Great city! Perfect holiday! Gladly again! read more

the size is OK. For NY proportions absolute standard. Even closet with iron and ironing boards available! Flat screen TV with lots of channels! the bathroom is very large and wonderful! the location is perfect! In 3 minutes at the subway 28 street and then two stops to Grand central-which on foot in 5 minutes in the middle of Times Square. also with the taxi super reachable, have no matter, whether in the East village or further never more than 15$! the Empire State building or Macy's, and therefore subway 34 street Union Square is you in about 12 to 15 minutes run. the options for shopping are also ideal. The bred & butter store was unbelievable! Town center everything to eat what you can imagine, very recommendable! also a MC'Donalds and a subway right next to the hotel. the various bars in the streets are also really nice. the Crooked Knife directly opposite the hotel is also very nice and not so expensive. There is a good and quite comfortable food and the service there is great!

We booked last-minute after Christmas shopping trip to new York and were very satisfied with the hotel. It was in the November just eröffnent, therefore everything new. Very stylish and tasteful decor. The location was very good, the empire Statebuilding and Victoria Secret in the immediate area. The rooms were unfortunately very small and the bathroom just right. However for a few days stay perfectly adequate. The bathroom was very nicely appointed, very stylish. Since we in the winter were there, it was in the room very cold and there was cold in the windows inside. This is the only ... what was lacking was, we would definitely go again!:-) read more

One can book the hotel without hesitation. The rooms are although small but this seems in new York just standard. The bathroom is large, have greater than the room itself. At the cleanliness there was nothing to fault. Neither in the room still in the lobby, everything was spick-and-span. We booked without food, but once for breakfast in the restaurant next to it. We would definitely not recommended, is expensive and the food was not of the chairs. read more

as mentioned was the room although small but clean. A few small faults had our room. The door to the bathroom did not and the room (all) was very sound-proofed. Our bad luck was, that we were right next to the elevator and heard at three exit arrived. but you can't fault, the bed is cozy, it has a large flat screen and of course all freshly renovated and modern.

  • Gastronomy

As mentioned above, we recommend without breakfast to book. There are in the lobby a bar, which is OK, good drinks, but just like any hotel bar a little more expensive than a'normal' bar.

  • Service

the service is good, to the room cleaning there nothing to complain about. Check in and check out went without problems. The concierge was a bit pushy when we on the first evening after a steakhouse nearby if asked. The then has the same table reserved in any restaurant twenty streets away, luckily we could stop them still, a Broadway How to book. Since we on the first evening still no idea had about where to go and what is located in new York and the restaurant from the concierge to gourmet quite sound, we in the area self catering. There are enough (see tips below).

for breakfast we have been able to, the good and cheap eggs, bacon and the like Au Bon gout (30./ 5. av) or the bread and butter (. 29/park avenue) recommended. There are buffet for self-service or where it freshly ready. There are on every corner an on-site Starbucks. for dinner / drink a beer we can recommend the heartland brewery. It is directly under the Empire State building, is however with moderate prices and the steaks are very delicious. Vis-a-vis the hotel has the Crooked knife. There are good steaks and burgers. Mexican the restaurant is in the Grand central train station to be recommended. This is food-corner. Fajitas are very nice. The atmosphere is noisy, but special.

the location is of course great. Is located on the 30. Street between park avenue and Madison Av. The Empire/Macy's in about 10-15 minutes you can walk. Of course you can also subway take, which has two nearby. A little closer to the Green number is 6. 28 to the or. 33/park avenue or the yellow line (N, q, r) at the. 28/Broadway. With the subway you can reach all sights in a short time. with the subway to the JFK about 45 minutes, with the taxi 20 costs about $60 for example.

The hotel is really great, everything was very clean, the rooms newly renovated and very nice modern equipped. The bathroom is also great the only addressed simply small: the room but in relation large enough for new York standards. Close to the underground station in only about 15 minutes with the metro in the heart of Times square and central. Great start for a stay in Manhattan to explore...

We were there at the end of October for four days and this hotel is an ideal starting point for Manhattan to explore. The Empire State Building is only about five minutes away. The renovation is complete and the entrance area and the lobby looked very friendly and welcoming. On a return visit to new York I would choose this hotel again. read more

The hotel is currently being reorganized, the renovated rooms are-regardless of the size of room-very recommendable individual. The new urban chic bathroom with huge walk-in shower, hair dryer, high quality amenities, facial tissues and so on, our room was extremely small (but already before booking aware was, so no review), with a very comfortable bed (American, so: box, high, very soft cushions, many pillows), flat screen tv, iron and ironing board, safe, well equipped and fortunately courtyard-at least for new York/standards-a very quiet. Definitely too little closet space, so one sun drawback. During the renovation must be expected with impairments ..., we went for example, the lifts in a day. Unfortunately: according to our information, will the hotel is totally secluded in 'Lou Lou' (who come to such a foolish name, if you have a gorgeous clear eingängiges 'Thirty Thirty ' can. tsss.) and should be much higher. A Shame. read more

So back from New York and no direct clash with the snow ) The shopping trip to NY was the best! It started with the really good connections from JFK Airport with the LIRR from Jamaca to PennStation. The walk to the hotel was 10 minutes. The room was unfortunately ready until 15 hours, however, it was a much larger than expected. We have already mentioned that in the booking this holiday our honeymoon. Thanks again to the hotel for the super-room. Should the room round about 30 sqm including bath. The location of the hotel was absolutely great, two ... blocks from the 5th AV located two minutes walk to the Empire State Building and the playroom in which you had. For Europeans it is almost a milk and honey. Pretty much all brands are represented, whether favorable or expensive! Underground nr. 6 (green) is two blocks away and has a great connections toward downtown or uptown. Bottom line: even worth getting married in NY and with a shopping trip you can combine great place. Christmas is not sooo kitischig what you expected. Of course as Macy's department stores are decorated with us, but everyone Karstadt set up a bit lot. read more

We were very pleased with the hotel. As we heard a lot of negative apprehension about New York hotels we came with low expectations at the hotel and were actually prompt for one night upgraded us to a suite (we had actually booked a standard double room). The suite was incredible (except that the light in the bathroom to put on makeup not enouh). But even the standard double room, in the we after the 1 Had to move night, was more spacious than we thought it would be and very clean. The noise level was kept within limits, although ... the hotel is very centrally located in Midtown. The location of the hotel could not have been better, it didn't really too far to walk to all the sights (even to the southernmost part of Manhattan's you don't need more than half an hour). The bathroom was a little small, but it was still acceptable. The staff was very friendly. We went to the cafe for breakfast every morning, the right downstairs area. The selection was not too large and the staff a bit rude, but the quality of the food was good and the price not too high. Additionally, we received a discount to hotel guests. All in all we can highly recommend this hotel. read more

Hotel has no restaurant or mini-bar, ice machine on the floor. For $50 per night we upgraded to a junior suite. The room and the whole floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, despite being supposedly floor for non-smokers. The beds were clean, the rest of the room felt tired and uncomfortable. The door to the room had a huge gap, but very stable. The location was great, a five-minute walk from the Empire State Building, 12 minutes to Penn station and about 16 minutes to Times Square. whole area felt very safe, also later in the evening, could from Times ... Square to walk up to 23 hours to walk back to the hotel. I found the hotel to not very great, the location and the price but for New York great. Please note: Italian right next to the hotel were super friendly and has great food, the bill but includes the tip, so not double-charged read more

Top location as many described. Only one bar/restaurant density as for example in the meatpacking distr. shouldn't be expected. The breakfast is not good. SOURface staff serve an almost witnessed breakfast. Tip: at Park Avenue and 29th is a butter&Bred deli. There you could get everything your heart desires. Across the road is the metro and a Starbucks. Our advice for the dinner if you don't want to go anywhere large but great food: The new "30 Wine" on the opposite side of the road. Very tasty and top quality service. read more
