You shouldn't expect wonders, it is a three stars hotel, however the central location in proximity of the main station the hotel makes for a stopover interesting. The staff are friendly, there is an elevator, the breakfast is for such a hotel super. You should know however also, it is the whole night something going on, both in the hotel, as well as on the street. Various' shops' in the schillerstraße until the wee hours of the morning busy, also sirens of police, fire and ambulance were several times to be heard. What somewhat chagrined was the fact that at ... temperatures around the freezing point in the room, as well as in the bathroom the heizungsregler totally just down were, so i about 60 minutes to the cold sat. read more

Altogether is the Hotel Royal for a city break very recommendable. Also for guests the with the train journeys suitably, since nearby the main station located. The city is within walking distance easy to reach.
At the front desk were very friendly staff to be met. The room was so big, that a additional coffee table and armchair more comfort would have contributed. The bathroom was although it is very small, but functional divided. The ungefragte, daily change of towels would have in respect to environmental aspects didn't need to be. Cleanliness was in all areas given.
The breakfast buffet ... was varied, only the egg dishes were not always hot.
For the hotel guests stock in any case the free access to the heißgetränkemaschine, so that also in the evening still tea, Cappuccino etc. Drunk or with to the room it could be. After a cold winter day in Munich a pleasant thing.
Altogether a great hotel for a Munich-stay. read more

True for the tollwood festival in Munich and after a good and affordable hotel looking for.
And I have to say I have found it.
Nice friendly check in in the 1 floor at the front desk by a young nice blond lady.
Later told me the probably for the nachmittagsschicht responsible also very nice and able employees how I best to the festival site come.
Had a single room with LCD TV, safe, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, soap and shower gel from donors
Bathroom very clean no mold no dirt, which also for the room shall apply. ...
Many Germans tv program plus sky sports and sky movie channels.
0.5 liter bottle of water in the room is for 2 Euro offered.
Breakfast well arranged and good returns everything you need.
Very positive coffee, tea and hot milk the whole day for hotel guests in vain at the vending machines.
The area you have to like or ignore is banhofsgegend ( distance to the main station around 5 minutes away on foot) that means table dance, clubs and bars right next door and around the hotel.
Thus for families with children to the evening walk not so great.
Oh for shopping pedestrian precinct it is up to 8 to 10 minutes on foot there.
In short.
Nice modern friendly hotel, friendly staff, good room, breakfast fITS, price fits.
The hotel is in any case a recommendation the friend and circle of friends value.

Super suitable for tourists. Nice centrally located ( 5 minutes on foot of the main station away). Tram, subway and suburban train within walking distance. Marienplatz 10 minutes on foot. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Beautiful rich breakfast. Huge plus for Wi-Fi in the whole hotel, sky and coffee, tea the whole day for free in the lobby. The next München is already planning and we check back at the royal one ☺ read more

The hotel is perfect for the short one visits! It lies in immediate proximity to main station, was clean and it is reasonable value for money optimal. The rooms are simple, but practically equipped and quiet.
Breakfast is of good quality and selection, the service attentive and friendly.
For a fee, under the normal parking garages is, can in a nearby located garage parked.
For all, the no luxury hotel, but a pleasant city hotel in the city center search, a good place!

Only 5 minutes footpath from the main station location, is the hotel very centrally located. As a hotel for families less suitable, since it is in the so-called red light district is located. The staff are great nice -there is even at night on request still cheesecake:- ) coffee and there is 24 hour, around the hour, free. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Pleasant I was surprised by the breakfast. There were no wishes left unfulfilled.

The Hotel Royal in Munich there was a very reccomendable address. The main railway station is in the immediate vicinity and is thus easily reachable on foot. In the schillerstraße, in which the Hotel Royal is, are also some entertainment category. In most rooms you get from the night operation on the street nothing with. The furniture in the room is very good and also the size of the room is ok. The breakfast buffet is varied and of good quality. read more

Perfectly adequate for a city vacation. Pleasantly surprised of the condition of the room (apparently recently renovated) and the cleanliness of all areas. Daily change of the hand towels and beach towels are for a hotel in the 3-star category not to be expected, the royal is the standard. The breakfast buffet is offering a clear view, offers something for every taste. (Fresh fruit, fruit salad, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, cheese, sausage, even cakes and much more). Particularly worthy of mention is, the 24-hour coffee machine that available to use for free so that one always various sorts of coffee ... and tea making facilities. Free Internet access, wireless Internet, flat screen Tv in the rooms including sky channels would also not in a three star hotel expected. The drawback: the windows (US fourth floor) keep the traffic noise and the noise from the surrounding eroticism-bars, just a little. If you're a light sleeper, should take precautions and to plug. We stayed in four nights never waited more than two hours in a row, although we are not sensitive. Therefor as the central location! The price performance ratio but as well as the overall impression a convincing argument for this hotel! read more

The hotel is for a city trip to Munich very recommendable. The main station is a few minutes footpath and stachus has only a ten minutes. Furthermore, there were coffee (in all kinds of variations) and TEA around the o'clock free of charge. The room was large enough for two people and faced the inner courtyard of the hotel otherwise it would probably a little louder former. The only drawback is the location of the hotel. There are some bars on the street and sex shops. read more

The hotel is located nearby the railway station and the city center Munich located within easy walking distance. The street, where the hotel is located, is rather hard to get used to, since we are here Erotikbars etc. populated.
The hotel itself is in a clean condition. The room was spacious with a closet, a double bed, as well as a desk. Also a tv and a safe were available. The bathroom was also renovated, but it was very small with no windows, so you after showering a 'versch joke' bathroom.
Breakfast was good and had everything, what the heart: ... rolls, bread, cereal, sausage, cheese, jam, cake and plenty of coffee in all variations. read more

So for me, a single with a night the hotel was okay.
However, I wouldn't recommend a stay with kids, because immediate under the hotel are several Erotikbars, gambling, etc. eroticism-cinema.
You should make sure you get a room in the upper floors, since the Schillerstr. is very lively.
If you look out the window and see themselves, since down hallways to the sea You would think you were in Turkey.
The whole street is in foreign hands. If you don't like staying in one's own country, should bring about a refocusing maybe.
I would particularly like to stress, but ... the breakfast, the hotel exceeded some four stars in which I usually stay overnight.

in general a really recommendable Hotel.
during the fair is the traffic connections (main station) ideal.
the breakfast was very varied and convinced in every respect.
the rooms are a bit older, but okay.
only problem:
Room to the street were very loud
-Lighting in the outdoor advertising of the hotel didn't bother at night on the first floor
Room cleaning not 100% -IG
all in all, we felt comfortable.
