We were on a short ski holiday, 4 night with half board (skipauschalangebot -stay 4 and pay 3) as a couple in this hotel accommodated. Originally we had for the club village in lake decided, and there the hotel 'Tiroler Hof' of the same operator booked. When we arrived, they told us, that we the only guests and were very polite asked to Galtür to the hotel 'Alpenrose' further to travel. Somewhat sceptical, slightly surly and annoyed by 700 kilometer directions we arrived there and were extremely friendly and nice, with a welcome drink of the ' good soul of ... the hotel' welcome. First concerns to changes the price structure maintainable or the benefits of the package were very quickly unloaded and we could our room relate. The hotel altogether is a bit old and same impression mediate also the premises, we stayed in. The mountings and sanitation are old and run-down, the tv and tv- technology a bit small and outdated, apart from that however everything very clean and comfortable. On closer demand at the hoteliers we were enlightened, that the present operator same first in the summer last year a sale and newly opened had. This is also the question of the condition. The hotel has 3 floors, a nice bar in the logia, several dining areas, as well as a wonderful small sauna area in the basement. This is new, not big but very nice and relaxing. There is a finnish sauna, steam room, as well as jacuzzi (against an extra charge) available. In separate resting room you could relax very well. The offered verwöhnhalbpension consists of a nicely arranged breakfast with everything that you need. Mirror- or scrambled eggs on daily demand and einzelwunsch respective freshly prepared and with bacon or ham and freshly prepared dishes. Boiled eggs are extra. Everything, included sausage, cheese and jams is really daily fresh, warm and very tasty. The waiters is extremely friendly, very helpful and always in a good mood. After a strenuous skiing is from 4:00 p. m. a skiers' snack, consisting of a delicious soup, as well as different cakes, which also always fresh and very tasty are. The dinner you can from 18 o'clock until 22 o'clock take, which sufficient time for wellness and other hobbies in advance remains. Another soup as for the snack, as well as enough salad from the buffet you can put together. The subsequent electoral court is not like in other hotels an appetizer, which only a gourmetnamen bears. But a really with love and understood prepared tasty home cooking in varied mariner. Here is something there for every taste and above all you really full. Special requests not a problem, the supply of drinks is good and works smoothly. In conclusion you can with a very nice prepared dessert still completely execute, the evening completely finished and satisfied with a wide grin in the face to an end. For all sociable tourist then the bar with all kinds of delicacies and a friendly service as your available. The hoteliers, the couple seriously and hidi lackner are extremely pleasant, attentive and good tempered contemporaries, which understand their guests constantly to animate, to converse and social together national and international contacts and consolidate. As owner they are even daily around the hour all guests available, take care of welfare and interests and left a really pleasant impression. Which body has today still usual, that the executive floor so close to the guest is, constantly hand stockpile, worries and know what it is? It was a joy in the morning for breakfast to go or evenings managed right at home, the friendly faces this couple to experience and a small chat to hold I think the construction in your home the owner even, are constantly committed at these and to work and will remaining impression in its guests leave. All a bit disappointed guests this forum should operators perhaps also the necessary time, which one needs everything so to prepare, that all the guests completely contented are. We were there already are. And honestly, where do you get in Austria today a hotel accommodation with this service, a verwöhnhalbpension included afternoon snack, welcome drink and so on for 48,- Euro per day and person? I know no and have just learned, that one with the skiing in Ischgl already for a bratwurst and a tea more than 11, -€ paid. There should be some a superior which it in which quality receives for its money. I think in any case receives one in der Alpenrose much more and everything much better. The is sure. All skiers it should be said, that there is a large skiing area with a boot dryer are. The stand out you are immediately on the ski bus, which in the season 15- einminütig within 20 minutes directly to the silvretta train to Ischgl drives, which is one of the largest and most beautiful winter sports region represents. The drive is free of charge or in the ski pass included. There you can take the ski pass Austria and the Switzerland explore and has if the weather is nice a great view of a wonderful area 2000 meters, and that means secure! Après ski there is in Ischgl without limits and unholy prices., but who the need is in Ischgl better cared for. Galtür is small but nice and for us was the place!
