The hotel lies between the five star hotel Marriott and the five star hotel kempinski. Near a previous stay the dead sea I was at the Marriott and the Mövenpick looked at and loved it, because it a very nice architectural style has. The hall amongst others I liked. But I was unfortunately somewhat disappointed.
Prior to you could the hotel a wish list ( room amongst others) send. It was not before. The gentleman at the front desk (late evening) has me then told, I a very nice deluxe non smoking room, after he initially was looking for. It ... was then a smoker's room. As the odor not so strong, I keep it. However next evening again asked and the gentleman confirmed me once again, it is a non-smoking room, although in the morning at the front desk something else said.
So much on: customer requests.
The cleanliness in the room and the balcony is customary ok, in Europa you would complain about.
The food as a part of the half board is ok. Good salad buffet, good dessert buffet. The meat dishes varied. However the taste every day similarly, although the courts other names were given. Fish is not the specialty of the kitchen. From the taste the fish not particularly good been.
The breakfast is very varied and category.
When checking out there were a problem with my credit card. A rather unfriendly gentleman at the front desk, the extra summoned was, was the feeling, my a bill-dodger is.
What happened? The bank had the card after the first use (check-in) for safety reasons closed. Such an approach will happen, if the cardholder atypical paid, that means suddenly from a place is paid, previously the accounts showed up ( for example also USA). I knew that in advance also not. So times tip (before the bank information). A call are sufficient, then the card again. But the situation at the front desk was embarrassing and not very discreet.
The sea is great and you can its stay, even if one skin problems has, enjoy.
There was always vacant chairs at the beach, in the hotel anyway. You could get towels at the pools.
But the standard of the room (it seemed run-down, the door made a safe impression, had also 1 be repaired) and the staff at reception cloudy my impression.
The staff in the hotel apart from that is very friendly and helpful. The waiters when clearing was rather zealous though.
But, I will stay here in my subjective opinion asked. The neighboring Marriott in my experiences more beautiful room and seemed clean. And after my erfharungen cheaper.
Therefore I recommend this hotel not further, it was my disappointment too big, because otherwise I have in Mövenpick-hotels only good experiences made.
I will this hotel on my next stay however not book again and this is the reason for my review.
Nevertheless the hotel you can not a 'bad' designate, but nearby there are 3 more five star hotels. read more

1. you are trapped there or paid expensive transfers by rental car into town.

5. travel agent is not a cent worth. Worries neither for the guests still other issues.

Back from 1000 and 1 night. A wonderful. perfect clean, food was great and an unlikely choice. I first Arabic food, very good. Easy, very aromatic, very recommendable. But there was food from all continents, very dilekat. And fruits and the sweets-nut.
My room, with a big balcony, was to the sea and evenings the sun is over Israel set to see -that was it!
The ' Mohrchenspielen ', the sea, the a lot of pools and the spa. I am again next year there!
The service is absolutely great and the friendliness of the staff- wonderful and so pleasant. ... Very good I found the free, daily new filled mini bar and the many mineral water without costs. That should set a precedent!
The guests from all countries and friendly to each other. I can really recommend the hotel. read more

The Mövenpick belongs to the more beautiful Dead sea -hotels on the Jordanian side. Good service with a lovely area, during full extent of utilization safe charm loses. Avoid hotel room with mountainview, because this to parking and the four-lane highway and relevant noise promised.
Is very recommendable the buffet restaurant, which was an excellent breakfast and Abendessebüfett offers. The dinner costs before tax 25 JD/person exclusive drinks.
Currently is next door to a Hilton resort and convention center is completed. read more

Fantastic hotel on the so-called hotel street in the dead sea; exquisite private bathing beach, great pools, polite and helpful staff. Even good time in hotel Linda visited, so the breakfast was contrary to the other train station atmosphere flair. Very friendly front desk, a upgrade from standard room to suite has spoiled. Downer: in the resort is at the mercy of the four restaurants, which in turn with extremely high prices(80 euros for two persons per night) to exploit. read more

The resort is located directly on the shore of the dead sea in a hotel zone. The architecture is indeed impressive-the hotel is built in the style of an Arabian village. The beach area has the best circumstances, the adjacent pool area with Infinty-pool and children was very nice therefor. here could one with good service, great furniture and soft best plays to relax. WHO activities, found in the area have a swimming pool with an artificial beach.
Impressive was the friendly and professional front desk staff. Both fast and attentive check-in, as well as the processing of requests and ... demands, were great the breakfast and dinner buffet left nothing to be desired-the good service supported this impression.
We can definitely recommend this hotel. read more

Great hotel to relax and feel good. Nice rooms and garden with the pools. Ideal location for day trips to the dead sea. The whole area is well designed. Evening entertainment there's also with belly dancing. A sloping walking distance to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas for free. The evening buffet was very good.
Price for permanent residence with about 180 €of course a bit high :-(, but we were only there for one night. read more

Very large plant in the village style. Swimming pools (a with great views), amphitheatre for evening performances. Room are in various small buildings (all with letter described), the Hautphaus with breakfast buffet is located at the beginning of the area. In the area there were various à la carte restaurants, very tasty. From my room (house M) from the beach I had about seven minutes walk-you can use but also the golf buggies from the hotel and let rumchauffieren ☺ The beach is narrow and short, but big enough for a few beach chairs. The entrance to the sea via ... a small footbridge and you will find mud also to really set nurses 'hose '. The hotel can I recommend it to everyone, also for older people, as it staff to which this brings sea. read more

We had unfortunately a very bad room, with view on the parking lot and the road. Was also very noisy. We had a nice room with often travel booked! The hotel is beautiful, in a fantastic location in the dead sea, with super nice staff. Unfortunately the director has acted on my complaint not times. I would book next time at the hotel, it is also nice room! Is it not only the Agency over a. The restaurants were very good, very varied. The service at the beach is class, the staff is very hard to make everybody happy. We'll ... definitely go again, but only with ' cancel itself!' read more

Very nice resort, wonderful garden, architecture, beach, everything was very clean. I was 'upgraded from standard room in the main building superior room in the 'garden village' excellent. Very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, including Italian à la carte restaurant. read more

The child is given. For our son (9) was but nothing. International guests, mostly Russian origin.
The food and beverage choices was class. Drinks in the hotel very expensive. Mini cash use free of charge. Internet was very expensive. To the hotel is nothing, except for three further hotels. is on the one the hotel's shop or the restaurant and the take from it. Trips only on Hertz with drivers and also to deftigen prices. The August is a rather bad month. It was blazingly hot! Pool was 33 °C. As well as the dead sea. Spa services varied, but ... very expensive. We had a room with full-sized balcony. three German TV channels. (RTL 2, ZDF and ARTE) room was each day made, but not properly been mopped once. The lost peanut from the first day was also after two weeks in the corner. Room service reacted excellent tips on (extra coffee, towels, gear. etc.)
Nonetheless, a good holiday in a good hotel. read more

We were for a night at the hotel. The hotel is recommended and nothing special to be desired. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food (breakfast and dinner) is very good, the room large and clean. Especially the architecture of the hotel as a village is worth seeing and comfortable. Quite a lot of Russian guests and crowded pools respectively something beach. The hotel is a highly recommended house of the upper class. read more

After two week trip in Syria and Jordan were we still four nights to relax by the dead sea. The hotel is very beautiful set up, several pool areas for children and also for adults. It is a variety of restaurants (snack bar, Italian, steakhouse and Chinese) but with booked half board (.31 about surcharge) valid only in the main restaurant. I must say, and unfortunately, for 31 and five star was the food not time Maas. It was plenty of choice but the food tasted fully next to it. (At the snack bar and at the italian restaurant ... was the food was very good)
Furthermore, we expected a better trained staff in the Mövenpick. (Especially in the main restaurant)
Conclusion: if this hotel at all, then better only book bed/breakfast. read more

The location is fantastic. Very well maintained and looks like a small village in Arabic.
Our room was in the main building on the second floor with a view of the sea on the bungalows away. The area was manageable size, but adequate for two nights.
The restaurants are class, also if you get it not with the reservations.
It is a very large hotel, on individual service they are not set. I had to fix my bags and asked for a pliers or a tool.-> I am today.
Suddenly we had a third bed in the room. On ... request you have removed it again.
At check-in and check-out queues have formed a long time, because the processing continues at a significant pace and not only one switch was opened. (About ten individuals were excellent checks in minutes 45 min.)-> please appropriate time plan. read more

An ideal hotel for a relaxation and wellness in an oxygen rich, pollen-free air. The Dead sea is also ideal for such purposes, of course. The Zara SpA and is a class for each euro value. Also the service such as individual airport pick-up deserves five stars. read more
