The hotel has 86 rooms, partially in the main building, partly in the neighboring house. There are three floors, only about a stairs you get in the rooms in the higher floors. Our room was big enough. Even a 3. bett was in the area, was under a slope (rather only for children).
The condition was alright and it was also clean. Only in the bathroom it smelled very after toilet.
We had overnight stay with breakfast, wlan was included in the price and worked perfectly.
The guests were the age was very mixed, many dutch. read more

The quality and the choice of the dining, and the friendliness and the helpfulness of the staff were unfortunately the only real highlight in this ' 4 star hotel.
On the positive side is, that it is a modern flat screen tv in the room there was.
Otherwise spoke in my opinion subsequent facts essential for a ' 4 star hotel:
- no elevator available despite etagenbauweise of the hotel,
- general completely obsolete of the bathroom in the room,
- various signs of wear, in particular in the bathroom area of the room,
- mold in the ceiling of ... the bathroom,
- visible dirty toilet brush (that is noticed a cent article),
For the above reasons, i can therefore unfortunately no recommendation express. read more

What would you from a four star hotel expect? In any case more than was available. My room was in a horrible 80. Years style, dark tiles and sanitaerobjekte, countryside and orangefarbige furniture. Breakfast okay but not good, lunch was rather awful, buffet must also be fresh and not stale. I have stayed in three stars houses much better. And close proximity to a46 carrying not for a good night's sleep in, in other words window open that is unacceptable. Altogether fits the hotel the city, quite frightening, really beautiful run down. And style is apparently not the big issue ... on the edge of the ruhr region. Unfortunately actually because the bergisches land region offers but much. read more

We had 2 weeks before a quiet double room four star hotel booked. Reserved a slanted roof-room in the 2nd floor without elevator with steep stairs. In the roof was a Velux -skylights the only light and air ventilation-
Possibility. When the open was you in about 4 meters distance on a large, towering ventilation shaft of the kitchen
With loud fan, which a stay with an open window impossible. The design of the rooms
You can only than sparse designate. We took the room rejected. As an alternative they offered us in the
Guest house a basement -room directly ... on the street at, before the window without spacing parking spots were.
We have the booking will be cancelled and moved. How can such a hotel 4 stars? For such

There were relaxing 4 days. We have half board and were with the selection of the dishes very pleased. The waiters was very friendly and a special request were always fulfilled. The wellness facilities which we daily visited are sufficiently. We will, if the time permitted return. read more

The hotel was itself OK. The room we had was not really clean and no cooling function ( mini bar). Bathroom was okay the beds also. Since we only one night there were completely sufficient and recommendable. read more

Nice hotel to the unhitch. Very good cuisine. Friendly and courteous serving staff except for a waiter. Then but the were ironed out. Hotel from the location and not for disabled suitable.
Apart from that is the value for money reasonable.
In the bathroom should you hangers affixed, so that the bathrobes can be hung up.
We inhabited room 49, very spacious, but it was the bathroom very small. Entrance into the tub for showering only for sports. Guests possible.
We will this hotel still often visit. read more

Something off the beaten track, without a car difficult. Great view to the green and over Wuppertal. Great, big pool and various saunas. No lift. Comfortable, glazed winter garden for breakfast. In the beer garden has not yet been served, could already have been better. read more

Already from the outside made the hotel a bit worn down impression, the paint was peeling off the walls and the outside area was neglected. When entering of the hotel the bad impression fort. The front desk is tiny. The staff at reception made the impression as I would disturb with my request on check-in.
The restaurant area is closely and overwhelming. My room was to the mountain and therefore even during the day dark. The furnishing was from the 80. The US available asked seminary room was at the Parkplat and was accordingly constantly treated to music. Also the ... furnishings with Technikentsprach the standard of 90. Years.
The 'crown' was however the bottle of water 0.5 liter. For 3,90 Euro. In the room this stood as a welcome. This greeting so much was I first not recognizable. When I whilst settling the bill complaining, I I cold smile! The only pleasant the food was, this was quite reasonable and tasty. read more

The hotel made a good impression. The room room was big enough. However, it was rather scant equipped. A little more attention in detail would be nice former. In some areas it should be renovated. The breakfast was okay. Except pre rolls in the four stars hotel is not acceptable! The sauna needs to be renovated. Well located hotel with an excellent cuisine. The staff was always accommodating and friendly. As I see the injection protection on the bathtub rig, the significant amount to get through the difficult. The mixing battery of the sink was already clearly worn the chrome plates, but nevertheless everything was clean. The kitchen and the staff were on two out of three nights (2 persons) we in the hotel so overwhelmed (you had adopted two societies), we got no dinner and restaurants had to avoid in Wuppertal. read more

We had booked the hotel as a weekend getaway. The room was nice and large, the bathrooms were rather small. Swimming pool, steam bath, infrared shower and sauna were good. A hot tub would added the icing on sombreros afterwards! The food was very good, the Show is almost too extensive. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The only minus is the lack of a minibar and a lot of stairs to designate. Than Gehbehinderter you have problem getting in the wellness area, the bowling alley and also in the room. Missing was a lift. Otherwise, the hotel is ... highly recommended, although it outside in a residential area. read more

We had a family room in the house. These rooms are located outside of the actual hotel. Or from a normal apartment building has a Haushälfte diverted for the hotel. Size of the room was good, but the carpet just disgusting! Stains on Flecker! The 4-star in a home not be. Beds, including the mattresses were an impertinence. We had wondered the parking in the garage on the many grocery mattresses. Why are all old mattresses in a garage ' zwischengelaget '. Typical of this unclean Hotel. Bathroom was very small-without a window-mold on mold. Pool and sauna made a ... clean impression on us. Smell of urine-broken tiles-mold. The only bright spot-breakfast!-was okay. Even though it is on the buffet was already times close. This hotel will definitely not and can not be recommended. read more

I was already have of the 14TH time due to various business or pleasure guest at the nice Eskeshof. In this time I had to time with a slightly smaller rooms Implication, but each of the rooms is well maintained and nicely decorated. There is actually nothing to complain about. The staff is super friendly. Transport links to the from and the location was the best. The Gästebild sitting by business people and business travellers. The atmosphere of the hotel and also the breakfast is very pleasant. Glad to come back again and again. read more
