We enjoyed it, the clean and well-kept hotel, The beautiful rooms, the nice Nachmittagstafel, the beautiful clean and well maintained sauna facility, The more than excellent Essenam evening with good selection of wine, The nice and comfortable equipped bar, The great location to hikes to start, The car had his spot in the underground garage. Very friendly, competent and helpful service with a very easy going atmosphere! The food was excellent, we have every day in particular the dinner -a real highlight of any evening of the week. The quality was definitely much better, than the three and a half stars the hotel category there express. The large and attractively furnished room to rotwandseite offered a very nice view also in the fischleintal valley with the sextener sonnenuhr. We would in any case come back. read more

A wonderful hotel in a one-time location with a magnificent view, super delicious and varied food ( be careful, as you can only sour, since restraint in so good food really useless is). Competent, warm hosts, great possibilities for hiking in a one-time mountain world with really good alpine pastures (with also good food) and afterwards relaxation in the sauna. Wi-Fi in the hotel bar/ fireplace room. Wonderful weather- what else could you want. Smaller problems: the underground car park is rather very narrow and the plotted parking rather which for polo driver, as for combi driver (thus rather small ... and narrow) and in front of the hotel are the parking spaces limited. Second point: the prices are in Tyrol du Sud generally higher than in US ( Haute-Franconie), comparable with German Großstadtpreisen 1 beer 0. 4 = 3. 90 euro, Bottle of wine ( however excellent Weindepot) from 12 euros upward. Room was great, plenty of storage space and hang up possibilities, mattress too soft for us, sofa, tv, balcony furniture, everything was good, bathroom good, everything very clean, bathroom however a bit small. But for two people really enough. During dinner is worthwhile Punctuality, unfortunately the salad respectively starters buffet not replenished anymore, so if empty, then empty. I thought that was actually a shame, since we are not the' German Geiern' belong, the already before the closed door and wait when the dining room opens up to first the buffet to storm. So you can have an aperitif not really enjoy. Activities in the free time secluded from nature ( so hiking or by mountain railway on mountain, or first Weltkriegsschauplatz/ Open Airmuseum Monte piano) rather limited, if you are looking for sexten there is, I think, is aware of this fact. The hotel does what it says on the tin. The breakfast and cake buffet (in the afternoon), and the multi-course dinner menu we can recommend the best. Every day we were with features and cuisine. Cleanliness, as well as the intimate and very friendly hospitality is highly commendable. The location is perfect as well. View of the sextener/Dolomites, slightly elevated above the village of moss and the Dolomites-round hiking trails are within a short time. on foot, by bus or car.
