The hotel is for a week relaxation very nice, especially we liked the à-la-carte food in the different restaurants, there was no ' battle the buffet'. You could reach the offshore reef for snorkeling ideal. read more

The hotel is already all ageing. However, you can get from a harmonious overall impression, as regards construction, architecture, condition, palmenhaine, maintained gardening plants etc. Speak.     The selbstbewohnte juniorsuite was regarding size, condition and facilities and toilet actually a dream, if not the problem with the mini bar would be.     The beach is directly behind the hotel. It is contrary to the official description complete with a korallenbehafteten entrance into the sea connected. To wear swimming shoes is essential, if you don't hurt your feet would like. For scuba diving fans certainly something delicious, for bathing and schwimmgäste not really suitable. Airport shuttle is on direct ways and is around 30 to 40 minutes. There are small shops in the middle the hotel available, but with totally overpriced one. A daily several free shuttle service allows a trip to the center/shopping area of Hurghada.

We were in Egypt for the first time. Most of the complex surprised, it was like 1001 Nacht. The service was courteous and at all times cooperative. The 'room' was a large living room with additional vestibule and terrace, bathroom and toilet were separated. The hotel was probably full. However one had no notice. Everywhere was enough room, no standing in line or waiting in the restaurants. We want to vacation in this hotel repeat. read more

Were in the Grand Makadi for the 3. time and had a nice relaxing time! Our 1st room did not please us and the bathtub was not reasonable! After a discussion with the guest relations in the lobby we could within a very short time move and got a beautiful room! The service at the beach and in the restaurants is very good, we were pampered all day! Thank you! read more

The state of the hotel, in comparison to the other mentioned, rather somewhat older. The guests were german with a few english and russian in between, but everything was very mannerly. Note: We have only the assessed, that also specifically mentioned. The recommendation comes only therefore; the neighboring hotel better appear! It ireland standard time no bad hotel!     As rooms have we booked a junior suite and we got a so-called 'villa', the directly at the pool is. The room, as well as bathroom was in good condition and not as in many reviews to read-worn. About the cleaning we had nothing to complain about. The villa was beautifully spacious circa 40 square meter with a nice terrace with small view of the see. Facilities: tv, air conditioning, safe, minibar, telephone, bathroom (bathtub with shower curtain)

    The offered buffets to all meals were varied and good from the taste. We liked much the caribbean restaurant, tasty, as well as the ambience. For 25 €per person. Also a candlelight dinner directly at the beach offered, 3 courses with seafood and shisha also - really recommendable. Deductions give it with the drinks, the cocktails were carelessly prepared and were tasted also very took some getting used to. In the Makadi Palace these were better around lengths. There were also other glasses use and they had more rum ☺ Furthermore it cannot be, that on the whole period no rum and tequila is available. Strange that there are the hotels so are very different, although it is a supplier and all 5 stars.

    The service and the friendliness were great. The front desk, after 4 hours bus ride from Luxor, you could do a little better for example damp cloths & tea, but maybe we were just too much of the spiky crew of the 'ms grand sun' spoiled. The cleaning of the rooms was done well, if you tip forgot to put down, then the room boy stop the towels somewhat later personally past ☺ but all not intrusive.

    The pool is in need of renovation. At nearly each corner missing tiles. By the pool are the chairs and covers almost all new. The beach has no real sand beach, however rather gravel. The water is small recessing to reach, as a bank stabilization at the beach is. The loungers, and cushions, at the beach, are very worn and have their best times already behind itself. This is counterbalanced, however, the beautiful and rich coral reef right on the hotel. For the management: The cushions at the beach change!

    The hotel is located directly on the red sea and we had our 'villa' just approximately 40 meters until we with our feet in the water were. Directly at the beach is a beautiful artenreiches coral reef which for snorkelling and diving. We sometimes felt like i was at a äquarium. To Hurghada one drives about 30 minutes by bus, the free from the hotel offered.

Very friendly and cordial staff. Beautiful grounds with excellent service. You should definitely go snorkeling, is an absolute dream. Food unfortunately after 2-3 days no variation more, the quality the meat and the fish not good. Recommendable is the lebanese restaurant. Please note. Only not the 'shopping tour' as tours. Pure promotianal trip with which one only in a perfumery, a junk store with tacky souvenirs, as well as in the bazarstraße in Hurghada brought to you, in which all 2 meters someone a little want to sell and besieged. We can only recommend the hotel. It is suitable for people, which are looking for rest and relaxation. Discoschwärmer are in the wrong place. The whole adjacent pool area of the Makadi Palace can be used with. Great! read more

Here an interesting information to all Grand Makadi tourists. We belong to the regular guests at the Makadi Bay and book gladly anytime again one of the red sea hotel, preferred the Grand Makadi (see my reviews of march 2012 and november 2012). Al we on the 09-03-2013 with numerous other leisure the Grand Makadi arrived, we were told, that the building very good is full and we were so as upgrade a stay in the new and more expensive Makadi sunwing waterworld offers. From pure curiosity we have agreed. We moved therefore sunwing and, when we our room entered ..., first convinced, really to have chosen. This should soon as error turns out. Since we probably still a own assessment to the sunwing will make, we want to grand -Makadi-tourists, which a similar offer is made, here only a couple give details: The sunwing is a family hotel and has a recommendation from 71 percent. It is a nice hotel unfortunately without atmosphere. After 21:00 o'clock was now in march even the lime bar often deserted. The service for example with the reserve one of the restaurants in the house itself or in Makadi Mall (the restaurants in Makadi Mall you can also as a grand -Makadi guests and the Grand Makadi easy book) was zero. The competent staff wanted to reservations can not be made for the future, but only for the same day and only for 5:30 p. m. transact. However, if you do not at 17:30 o'clock in the mall already want to eat, should you in the Makadi Palace (neighboring hotel) and there another time to negotiate. And then every day the new. This year we were for the 2. time there the grand Makadi. Also this year it was really enjoyed. The rooms are unfortunately somewhat worn, however, the power the staff's hospitality and also the variety of the dishes(particularly the caribbean restaurant) this negative more than made up for it. No matter where you stayed at the, entire staff was very friendly and attentive. It is the most beautiful in the morning on the terrace the lagoun breakfast with view of the sea. I thought it was great also, that eit up to the takeoff in the room can stay no ... stress, the last day until at the end enjoy. The riff nearby is amazing and it finally also a jetty into the water is i find great. We will this year definitely again in Grand Makadi for snorkelling %blank%. read more

It was a nice big hotel with some stores and several restaurants. In march 27 we had -30 degrees, great for one week summer. We've never had such a massive room. Hurghada we have to not again see, because the salespeople were very pushy. We had only a large shop with rpm seen, otherwise up to 60% of the price, according to the tourist guide. Were the 2. time in the Grand Makadi. The food in the restaurants (except italian ) is very good, the staff very friendly and helpful. The beach is very beautiful. The new jetty is very convenient. You can from there direct for snorkelling the charming house reef. The drinks at the bar may in nicer glasses and with more love to be made. There are cocktails in normal handle without decoration. That is for example in the Makadi Palace already differently, Otherwise we like it very good Grand Makadi and we will be back. read more
