The hotel in a large old building with several inner courtyards is located right next to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Our room was rather small, but tastefully decorated with old furniture. The car by hotel staff in the garage parked. On breakfast buffet there were everything your heart desires. This location, this building and this service have naturally their price! read more

The hotel is very upscale, but it was worth it in any case. You may need to old walls like, but a visit to the night just Santiago here! We will definitely go back there again! read more

This Parador is probably a 'must', if you travelled to Galicia. A fabulous area, but of course quite 'dark', including the room. The exception is the breakfast room with partly (mismatching?) light wood panelling. The glass door, the sink in the bathroom the separated from the rest of the objects, we thought was rather disturbing. Professional service as everywhere in the Paradores, a lot of international guests and large events. The entrance with the car at the Parador is possible to unload the luggage, the car must then be disposed of as soon as possible 'but'. If the hotel is ... fully booked private garage, you can use a parking garage in the vicinity, one for 10.25 in the car the overnight parking (price April 2011) can. In the small pedestrian streets behind the cathedral there are a lot of restaurants, tapas bars and souvenir shops. read more

A luxurious Parador, but relatively expensive: 275 euro for a night on, including breakfast. The price/performance ratio is therefore far below average and is actually only justified by the fact, that you are a guest access to all areas of interest has, otherwise the public is not accessible. Breakfast was good, I would have expected better quality but in particular of the fruits. read more

With quite a true showcase the chain. The superb location, excellent service and top of the. Pilgrims had earlier times it with security not luxurious. Some criticize the high prices and the related performance. But you know ahead of time, what a house cost. read more
