We had a double and a three-bed room with connecting door. Small, but very maintained and cleanly. The furniture is already a little antique, which did not disturb us however. Baths with bath tub (somewhat close) and in tidy condition. Really in order for a city hotel in Rome with 4 stars and a bearable price.

1 restaurant/bar, meal is okay, even completely tidy, we it only once took up, because there were approximately numerous possibilities to eat well and temporally more flexibly. Prices are for Rome actually okay, international kitchen with naturally Italian specialities.

The staff is very friendly and anxious. German only few can, but then they leave it to the guest also assign to become, “English spoken”. Room cleaning okay, each day laundry and sheet change. One remedied to a complaint immediately.

Already somewhat older city hotel, however maintained and with charm, cleanly and properly, the rooms lie all together to inner courts and are calm therefore - straight with view of city traffic in Rome one must lift that out -. Well, one must enjoy not necessarily the yard panorama now, it is none. But for a city hotel really well. Frühstücksbuffet was inclusive - and that was generally really very tidy for Rome in the special and Italy. International house, quite many German guests during our stay

The hotel is directly because of the metro. One can reach all objects of interest in maximally 50 min. to foot, if one liked. The atmosphere of the environment is lala, already a little abgenudelt. One can buy in the environment however and also go eating. It is not stop like that per by, which for a city hotel in Rome, in addition, in other cities not at all is so unusual.

We had a double room, which was relatively small, which was equipped with the following things: A double bed with two night small boxes, table with chair, small armchair, wardrobe with safe, TV, mini bar, bathroom with shower and bidet, telephone. The condition was described as already above.

We had booked the hotel stay purely with breakfast. The Frühstücksbuffet was varied: Sausage, cheese, sweet pieces of pastry (ok), rolls (hard like stone), fruit salad (Tutti Frutti salad from the can - no joke), dte, juices (against surcharge also freshly pressed orange juice) and coffee, which unfortunately like Instant tasted (and although Italy for its very delicious coffee admits is), etc. at the table-ware stuck partly still old leftovers. The atmosphere in the breakfast area was rather restrained and cool. Also we had unfortunately to state that compatriot/women were preferentially treated. They got other things offered and got, although we had ordered before, their beverages first. Of Al us once hunger in the evening packed and the restaurant had already closed, wanted we somewhat on the room to be brought to be able. Unfortunately this was not possible for any technical reasons (within the period possible indicated in the information briefcase and). This service would have cost 7 EUR additionally at the actual price.

A little friendly the greetings in the hotel failed: We were arrived correct, were not requested still at all immediately, to pay the Airport Pick UP service and were fast dispatched. Accordingly we were also with the check Out. Also the 48EUR for the distance Fiumicino hotel appeared to us too expensive too expensive. Except for a few exceptions we felt the staff predominantly unfriendly and arrogantly. At the reception English was spoken. Different routes and also a laundry service are offered (the latter to be able we not to judge).

A free Internet entrance was present (one received entrance data for this at the reception). There was not a pool.

After five days stay in Napoleon was confirmed our first impression: The hotel became outdated simply and has its best times behind itself. Worn out works the furniture and speckig the carpets. When entering the Empfangsraumes above all the modrige smell was noticeable, which pulled itself by the entire hotel, including the room. This came strengthened from the air conditioning system in the room, which however on investigation of the inserted filter no miracle was: It was totally full with dust and Flusen. Also general cleanliness in the room left to be desired: Mould in the shower (see please photo), hair of the predecessor in bed and bad smell from the toilet. The house is actually very badly soundproofed and the sanitary plants gave independently amusing noises of itself. Unfriendly also the dark areas (it came only little daylight) worked.

The situation of the hotel is practical: A Metrostation is direct before the hotel entrance and the most important objects of interest, like e.g. The Kolosseum or also the Vatikan can be attained in few minutes. Also a small supermarket is in the proximity. But the environment, in which the hotel is, is inviting everything else as. The quarter is simply not run-down, everywhere is Graffiti at the walls, which are roads dirty, in the evening is homeless people because of the roadside and we felt well waived. Also disappointing: The view of the room window on an old backyard. The airport Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) is about 25 km far away from the hotel (depending upon traffic about 40 minutes with the car).

Superb rooms with wonderful maid service.

There is only one restaurant, serving typical Italian fare, with a friendly efficient service. None of the staff ever asked for or seemed to expect a tip.

Brilliant staff, friendly,knowledgeable and only too willing to help. Their local knowledge is second to none.

Very difficult to assess as we never looked for any of these services

The hotel, I would describe as being \'\'very traditional\'\'in style. There are some wonderful antiques and tapestries in the lounge are which all add to the very welcoming feel. Indeed,you feel at home as soon as you enter the reception area. One of the first things that struck us, was how clean the hotel is. The lounge, bar and restaurants are absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean and tidy. Our room, which was on the second floor, was huge with a double bed and a sparate sitting area. The bed was comfortable and beautifully made up with immaculate crisp, clean sheets. Very important! Breakfast is of the usual continental buffet style with the option of a cooked breakfast for a small supplement, although I must say we found the buffet more than adequate. The breakfast service is also excellent.

Very cosmopolitan area near to main railway station and easy walk into the sights of ancient Rome. We used public transport throughout our stay with the Metro right outside the hotel.
