We start october 2012 the 2. time in the Napoleon, because the first time already was so nice. We booked 6 nights with breakfast. Our room was beautifully large, very clean and peacefully located. The breakfast was for southern standards very extensive, fresh and good. The staff of the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating. The front desk fulfilled every wish, competent, and fast. A small park, as well as bus and metro are on the doorstep. The Termini is only a few minutes away and the forum is to speed about 15 minutes. There is many good bars and ... restaurant and supermarkets nearby. Our 11-year old daughter was totally thrilled. All of us felt very much at ease and would love every year return. Many thanks to the whole staff of the hotel! read more

In front of the hotel is located directly in the subway station. We found very pleasant. To Kolosseum however we recommend on foot to go, because you apart from that in the Termini ( main station) change and what you here at way below ground from metro A to B leaves behind, you're long on foot arrived and had a great view of the Kolosseum!
Hotel was very clean. Room was to the inner courtyard, it was very quiet. Size of the room for Italian standards reasonable.
Only small who courage drop: we had questions to Rom, you could never ... at the front desk answer ( for example bus lines)
If we go back to Rom travel, we would come back to this hotel. read more

Already somewhat older city hotel, however maintained and with charm, cleanly and properly, the rooms lie all together to inner courts and are calm therefore - straight with view of city traffic in Rome one must lift that out -. Well, one must enjoy not necessarily the yard panorama now, it is none. But for a city hotel really well. Frühstücksbuffet was inclusive - and that was generally really very tidy for Rome in the special and Italy. International house, quite many German guests during our stay read more

After five days stay in Napoleon was confirmed our first impression: The hotel became outdated simply and has its best times behind itself. Worn out works the furniture and speckig the carpets. When entering the Empfangsraumes above all the modrige smell was noticeable, which pulled itself by the entire hotel, including the room. This came strengthened from the air conditioning system in the room, which however on investigation of the inserted filter no miracle was: It was totally full with dust and Flusen. Also general cleanliness in the room left to be desired: Mould in the shower (see please photo) ..., hair of the predecessor in bed and bad smell from the toilet. The house is actually very badly soundproofed and the sanitary plants gave independently amusing noises of itself. Unfriendly also the dark areas (it came only little daylight) worked. read more

The situation of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and the rich breakfast were to be recommended for a city hotel surprisingly “very well” and in the best way. Important was us also, which is direct the underground station before the hotel. read more

The price performance ratio is outstanding with this hotel. A rich Frühstücksbuffet is offered (with other hotels is not necessarily usual). The staff is extremely friendly and at the reception receives one on demand numerous tips. Since we traveled in a small's group, we had booked several rooms. A room was again reconditioned, a room still in the condition 70's years and somewhat worn (however clean and bath reconditions). The hotel lies between station terms and the Kolosseum (comfortably within walking distance). The Metro station is direct before the hotel. With journey with the airplane (naturally against surcharge) a shuttle ... service of the hotel can be used economically (details see hotel homepage). Result: For city travelers without requirement on Fitness/Wellness absolutely very recommendable. read more

The hotel does not work from the outside necessarily inviting, has it however in itself. Expressed friendly staff. The restaurant is only by the hour opened, however there is the bar, where one can get Snaks all day. With my next Rome journey I will again select this hotel. read more

The hotel, I would describe as being \'\'very traditional\'\'in style. There are some wonderful antiques and tapestries in the lounge are which all add to the very welcoming feel. Indeed, you feel at home as soon as you enter the reception area. One of the first things that struck us, was how clean the hotel is. The lounge, bar and restaurants are absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean and tidy. Our room, which was on the second floor, was huge with a double bed and a sparate sitting area. The bed was comfortable and beautifully made up with immaculate crisp, clean sheets. ... Very important! Breakfast is of the usual continental buffet style with the option of a cooked breakfast for a small supplement, although I must say we found the buffet more than adequate. The breakfast service is also excellent. read more
