The hotel is with much feeling and more taste bland and stylishly renovated. The lots of small details make it from and demonstrate the love of the family schmid to the hotel. The breakfast buffet had everything you wanted, included cüpli. The staff were very attentive and all very quickly refilled. Great the hotel has a own parking garage! read more

    Large, clean, stylish room. In the bathroom everything you need is available included badtuchwärmer. We had rarely a so good working air conditioning, about what we were very glad, because it was very hot outside. The only thing we a little missed, is a mini bar in the room. A safe and telephone were available. The room and the bathroom were cleaned perfectly.

    The staff are very friendly and more than willing to help, they speak several foreign languages. There was absolutely no complaints and we are very 'critical'.

Lakeside wonderful view, but unfortunately very loud, thanks to the friendly Receptionist we then a different room on the garden side are. A great shame, that such a busy street the city from the lake is. read more

The hotel lies at the end via nassa, the top shopping district of Lugano, more or less directly on the lake, only by the road separated. You the hotel can well reachable on foot, if you arrive by train. You can take the funicular from the train station to the center and from there the pedestrian precinct via Nassa along, approximately 300 meters, thus with small luggage / suitcase possible. The building is some years old, yet has a lot of flair of past times. There are rooms in various categories and sizes. Since we only 1 night were there ..., we had a standard room booked, which was not very big, but enough was. On the back of the hotel there are 2 terraces in 2 level and a pool. There you can if the weather is nice after a tour in the town lovely relaxation and the peace and quiet enjoy. The breakfast was okay, both which the selection, as well as the quality corresponds. We can this hotel recommend. read more

Ideally located hotel on the lake. Easily accessible by car or train. For lovers of houses with history. The terrace and the pool are a lovely green oasis in the middle of the city. The staff was very helpful, because of the large crush at breakfast but easily overstrained. We can easily imagine, here longer than a weekend stay. read more

We stayed on the trip to Italy a one-night stopover made in Lugano. By chance we found this hotel. It is very centrally located and is only a few minutes walk from the lake away. The hotel is very expensive, as all hotel in Switzerland. The food was tasty, but the dining room looked like a canteen with mass processing. The food and drinks had a steep price of course. All in all were we very zufr beach chairs. read more

From the minute of check-in to rooms, underground parking, breakfast, pool area and hotel Ambiente was our stay was very nice and was a perfect price/performance ratio. The staff were very friendly and dealt with our request for a room change efficiently and accommodating. Our traveling companions first mother was assigned a little dark single room without balcony in a five floor. You could do that after a short request within the booked category in a great room with a balcony and Lake View to be changed. Top. read more

A wonderful hotel with great staff and wonderful and Charme. I felt extremely comfortable, once again a big thank you to all! This hotel is really what many others only promise: you feel very welcome and as a guest. And the friendliness is honest and not fake. The hotel was built in 1906 and Charme has given time. The rooms are appropriately equipped. The bathroom has seen better times. The room was very clean. The breakfast is rather basic but okay. For those arriving by car definitely need a garage as there is no parking spaces are. read more

The hotel is run by a family in an old Swiss tradition. Friendliness is large. The only drawback is the almost Italian Breakfast. The choice may be a little bit bigger. When it comes to the rooms should, if you want to have peace and quiet, the choice of a room fall to the inner courtyard. read more

We only stayed 1 night there, could envisage a longer stay but very good. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of the city, right on the lake. The old building flows very sophisticated, but not sterile atmosphere. Such a swimming pool with beautiful sunbathing area and scenic views you do not expect, if one stood before the hotel... A pleasant surprise. The service was very friendly, the breakfast buffet very good with plenty of choice. read more
