Hotel Antico Borgo Il Cardino^{(3 stars)}

Rooms are very small. About 8 square meter + bathroom. But a double bed, a closet, a 2. sofa and a table inside. The flat screen tv is raised on a shelf appropriate. Unfortunately. There is only the breakfast area-otherwise one can in the hotel expect nothing. The breakfast me personally very dissapointed. A few sausage and cheese, but there was for me nothing (for example the proscutto was extremely thick cut, i therefore have the omitted). Butter, jam, honey and Nutella were available plus a few yogurt cups, croissants and biscuits. Muesli, dosenobstsalat and a few 'frische' fruit. But why the gastronomy for me only with 2 stars is mainly the quality. The bread tasted nothing at all, the fruit was old and wrinkled, the fruit salad was from the can, the offered juice was sugared water from the windelstoff the package and the summit were the soft eggs cold and undercooked. With hands and feet we could explain, that our eggs would like gladly a little more cooked would have. So she took 2 of the eggs and she again to the warm water thrown. Also the alternative fried eggs isn't recommendable (greasy and the protein above still raw)

So all of the staff are extremely friendly. We have suspected, that under circumstances around the owner is. The man sits in the lobby; spoke very good english and helps gladly. The woman is for breakfast and cleaned the rooms - she really makes an effort and also very friendly - understood but a word of german or english. There is still another woman, dark hair and husky voice, despite their rough charisma as warm and made an effort. Sports and entertainment does not exist. However the pool was beautiful, therefore nevertheless 4 stars. The only fault - the hotel lies directly at the road. You can hear every car and every motorcycle, the winding roads up and down the drive.

The complex is tidy and obviously regularly cleaned (for example pool ) breakfast is included, but since you can not expect too much. The furnishing of the hotel was rather simple. A very small reception - no more than off the entrance-is located across the street from the breakfast area-also very small - a bit like a restaurant seems (closets where coffee is brewed). Infrastructure: The hotel itself offers nothing. There is no restaurant, no cafe, no small shop, not even the front desk is always manned. The complex is but nice and you can sit outside or to the pool planting. In the immediate area there is nothing. The only restaurant the sensible meals at reasonable (if it in tuscany is) offers is the pizzeria on the right side (approximately 10 minutes out). There are a Trattoria, but since you get hardly anything for quite a lot of money. Quality is however good and you can take a nice sit outside. There are no supermarkets or shops where one grundversorgen can (for example with water) in the immediate vicinity and also no café ' s.
