Both from the outside, as well as from the inside the hotel has probably already better days. The carpets in the corridors etc. Spray probably typical canadian flair and remember at England. Also typical for Canada: on the hallway there is drinks- and (free) eiswürfelautomaten. The two centrally located in the hotel nearby lifts from the ground floor from actually always immediately ready for use, you had to wait in the floor, it may take a little while, however therefor there are enough stairs to descend. The hotel has a 2-story parking for a fee ( recommendable). read more

We had a room with queen size bed, which has a large double bed had, table with armchair, couch armchair, flat screen tv, coffee machine and what I still may have forgotten. The bed was large, very comfortable. The bathroom rather small/average and with the usual shower, in which the shower head neither decrease in the equivalent to adjust left, equipped. Although the hallway is very dark and old works, the room was very comfortable and seemed clean. We had however a room to the street out. From the traffic was it was actually bearable if you like it somewhat and at the weekend it may well be, that the youth on the street at night from the sleep waketh, if these go home.

You have a room to the street, so you can a sea view catch. The hotel lies only one minute's walk away from the beach from where you could get the stanley park explore can, in front of the hotel there are several bus and by car one is also relatively fast direction airport on the way. On the corner there is a Starbucks, opposite a Tim horton, the road up on the same side a small ' kreisler ' /' kiosk' and a bit further above (with private parking) a grocery store and drug store. Yet a bit further up (after the uphill -piece) is situated in a backyard (one comes on foot also to the street by) a laundrette. Convenient if you're a round trip power, private parking and the laundry service with dry and combining costs at least 15 cad and tax, apart from that one paid per kilo, if it more laundry is.

The location of the hotel is in many respects ideal. The bus station is in front of the door. For the DC keep the 'hop off/hop on' -buses also near the hotel. The hotel is located in one of the best area of the city. The 'English Bay' is located in front of the door. So what did someone want still? read more

The hotel was located directly on a busy street (lot) in Vancouver/downtown, so it is important for a comfortable stay, what room you get. We were given a room with view to the backyard (parking) so we also due to the old, thin windows slices of quiet sleep-so we had luck. The hotel: Comfortable, typically American/Canadian. The people at the front desk were properly dressed, friendly and approachable for questions, even if they are based on my knowledge had little ☺ The check-in process was not brand new, but when visiting always everything was clean, so we had nothing to ... complain about. Since we were on a coach trip through the Canadian West our first night there, we have already on this standard in the hotel pleased-which, unfortunately, didn't 'standard' turns. In Canada in this 'STAR segment ' satisfied with the facilities. Our double room was equipped with: flat screen tv, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and air-conditioning. A small table and two chairs, two chairs, as well as luggage, small clothes were also to be found. The hotel has no pool, etc. as far as we know. In the lobby there is a PC with Internet access, to the charges but I can't say anything, I used a free w-LAN. On the ground floor of the hotel is a comfortably furnished diner attached, in which our breakfast was taking place, hearty American there was all kinds of delicacies; taste a highlight of the hotel we visited. In the evening you can easily with pleasure a few drinks, watching the way and/or karaoke-every evening there is something going on, since the meeting point (evening pub) act. The staff were all polite and courteous. The location: On English bay is within walking distance, about 50 meters, the West of adjacent parks 'Stanley ' (which at the 400 ha in size and is at the best one with a borrowing-bike left) is so immediately. If you wanted to shop a is said that it was on the same side of the road (the Road) a huge supermarket is-the only problem is this as such from the outside to see ☺ Down the street around the corner you will find plenty of shops-but if you also the main shopping mile Vancouver want, in the Robson St '. Conclusion: On our trip one of the best hotels-we would visit again (if our room not on the street side would be, which took a few of our fellow travellers.) read more

The hotel does not look very nice. The inside is typical CANADIAN. With a lot of wood and reflective. The rooms are pleasantly large and very clean. The toilet was perfectly clean. The mattresses were good and we had a good night's sleep. read more

The rooms are a good size and very clean. The toilet was perfectly clean. Our room faced the street, so you could hear traffic during the night. The view was on the street side and looked at the rear of the sea. The mattresses were good and we had a good night's sleep. The room did not have a balcony and no safe. The safe could be rented at the reception.

The hotel was a restaurant and a bar. The Canadian breakfast was very good and the dinner (steak) was good and the plates well stocked. To-frontier price are still adds another 10 % tip. The atmosphere was typical CANADIAN.

The taxi from the airport costs approximately $30 . Vis-a-Vis from the hotel there was an bicycle rental, where it took only a few minutes to the Stanley Park cycling. In the surroundings there are many restaurants and the beach is only about 100 meters away. It also has many bicycle paths. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. In 10 minutes you are in Gastown.

The hotel is located a few steps from the English Bay - where you sit with the locals on tree-trunk tables and watching the sunset. The buses run right at the door and also the selection of the restaurant nearby is very large. You can walk from the hotel to explore the Vancouver and if you get a room without breakfast - no problem a Tim Hortens is just across the road. My room was very large and clean. Would stay here again on my next visit. read more
