Hotel Royal Kenz^{(4 stars)}

The room size normal and sufficient.. There are enough storage space. Desk, bedside tables and additionally still another small table with 2 small chairs. There is a huge wardrobe. Tv (ZDF and satellite. 1 as german television), an empty fridge, air conditioning-this is only if you in the room is, but from cooled very quickly. Balcony with a table and 2 chairs, mountings on the balcony for towels. Telephone available. The bathroom is equipped with a large mirror, sink with plenty of shelf space, a bathtub with a shower and toilet everything very clean! Above average for southern standards.

There was a main restaurant, an à la carte and snack bar at the beach. I have only used the main restaurant. The food was varied, varied and absolutely delicious. There was a tunisian issues area, the general buffebeireich, a pasta area, the salad buffet, a crepe station and more. As mentioned, delicious:-)

The service was absolutely great! I have not one unfriendly employees, all have understood german and partly also spoken. With english one is here but well served and always come away. The room was cleaned thoroughly. Always everything is great. There were no complaints.

Since i always on beautiful beach was, i can't say much, apart from the pool area very nice designed. There was always and at any time of the day enough chairs and the matching cushions inar also always very quickly. At the beach you can different wassersportmöglichen take advantage of. Enough umbrellas are also available.

Very nice peacefully located hotel, sure already somewhat older but in a very good condition, there were very many english, russian and french guests there, rather less german. But it was not a problem at all, all have perfectly behaved and the communication with each other was good. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. I had half board booked, i was also completely enough, breakfast and dinner were more than enough and delicious, you could get drinks everywhere very cheap about the pressurized card. And if one at noon time but hunger had gave it in the snack bar at the beach a bit.

The distance to the beach was approximately 300 meters and is not a problem. In the proximity there is a shopping center, several restaurants and bars. To the harbor to Port el Kantaoui one comes with the taxi for circa 3 Dinar in 5 minutes the way along the beach is very nice, takes about 30 minutes to sousse approximately 30 minutes by cab.

It is worked cleanly. The duvet and the towels are regularly changed. Class, keep it up!

Excluding German animator, the vacationers with sport fitness, yoga and jogging in the morning 7 hours motivated, as well as the security -staff in the spa area ( by the pool) and the cleaning ladies are friendly. Smooth 6-for the rest of the staff! Unqualified, bad tempered and grumpy staff. Hotel features: during our travels (5.9-15-9-12 ) the hotel was up to 930 guests completely booked. 90% English, rest serbs, German and russians. Age between and years. It is a big hotel with 2 pools in the outdoor area and 1 pool included jacuzzi in the spa area. You can excursions from the hotel book directly, as well as a gym and savings offering use. The staff are all together friendly and helpful. Tip is especially in the restaurant of course, but definitely not necessary (a friendly please and thanks does often) language with German and simple English well. Our room changing because ants was also easy and fast possible. With doctor and laundry service we didn't experience collected. The rooms and whose cleaning are ok been.

There are 2 pools, which enough of loungers surrounded are. In the area there was a construction site, which you however only of 2 lawns for sunbathing from and not included in the total pool area. ( most of the time there is apparently not.) it is about 250 meters to the beach. There you should however until o'clock his, to loungers to get. In the afternoon light the rows however quickly, then one finds also at o'clock at the beach a beach chair. The beach and the sea were mostly clean (occasionally you will find cigarette butts and once swam a plastic bag in the sea) The entertainment composed of the balancecoach and the animation team together. Everybody was always friendly and around entertainment for the guests hard, but never obtrusive.

Beautiful varied complex. The hotel is both inside, as in the outdoor area well-kept. The size of the room is ok, as usual. There are plenty of places to put things. Desk, bedside table and, in addition, a small table with 2 small armchairs. The closet is also very big with hangers. There is a tv ( ZDF and satellite. 1 as German television), an empty small fridge itself could fill (this is continuous at), climate this is only if you in the room is, but from these cooled very quickly. Balcony with a table and 2 chairs, also there is mounting brackets on balcony to your towels or similar to hang out the laundry. Telephone is in the room also available. Toilet is extra, in the bathroom is a large mirror, washbasin with plenty of shelf space available and a bath tub for showering. Everything very clean, it could have been for southern standards not thought. Even the shower head was almost not at all fossil and was quite new. General everything looks quite new and absolutely great clean! Above average for southern standards. Safe there are for a fee at the front desk. While there are many hallways and legs in the hotel to the rooms, however all room numbers very well written, for every branch. Itself with good reason to find also no problem.

There is the main restaurant with buffet food. Eat everything super, very large selection. Salad buffet with over 10 salads, extra gewürzne, dressings, dips, bread and so on every day there were for lunch and dinner something else. Daily fish and 2 sorts of meat (poultry and pork/beef). Also side dishes, as well as vegetables. There are 3 extra büfetteile you can fresh pizaschnitten get (spinach, margharita, salami, aubergine and so on), at the other there are freshly prepared spaghetti with the ingredients of their own choice and a grill where you extra be meat do, in case you at the buffet didn't find anything there. To the bedside table there is often freshly made creepes, always 4 different ice varieties and other creams, cakes and so on, fresh fruits and so on The food is often very German angehaucht ( Schnitzel, mashed potatoes, chopped meat, potatoes, fries and so on), but there were also Italian and other. Nevertheless everything was very good. By the 2 layers of the meal time the dining room is never completely occupied and it is very quiet for the food, also you must have no queue for the food get. The Italian à la carte restaurant had to our time of vacation unfortunately to. In our all inclusive vacation was instead of a visit even nun 2 visits to the french à la carte restaurant included. Drinks there one must however pay ( only exception), however very cheap -0.5 liter Fanta 1.50 Euro. In french restaurant you should appropriately dressed sien, since it was at the 5 star is, very Nobel, brilliant atmosphere and of course really great food. Although it is only a small map however wow! Bar in the hotel, as well as pool bar and beach bar also very good. Cocktails are ok. , naturally one may with German proportions comparisons. At the beach bar is in all-inclusive really everything with us. Apart from that costs no food more like 4 Euro. There is pizza, spaghetti, hamburgers, sandwiches and so on

The service in the hotel is very good. The lack in June/ July so poorly were immediately fixed. The waiters are very friendly and we were always served quickly. Also cleared in the restaurant always very fast. Tip we only at the end but the waiters were before nevertheless very friendly. Almost all of the staff spoke/understood German, even the maid. Apart from that with English one can itself in any case communicate. It was until now the best hotel where most of the staff understand German. Complaints we had no, but should it in them, I am convinced that these quickly remedied,. There is a laundry service. For children/ teens is nothing was offered, there is no family hotel, therefore very quiet. Room was always very clean. One may however no laundry or food lie about leave, as these will be charged ants attracts. We had once in the room a small ant road in the bathroom, the maids was immediately a question cared and afterwards was no ant more to see and we had also the entire vacation peace. There are no chemicals are used, because it smelled like the ameisenbeseitigung nothing.

For children/ teens, there is absolutely nothing, that is also well like that, because it is no family hotel and it should remain so. So you really your peace and you can absolutely relaxation. The animation is rather edzent held, but pleasant. There is evening agenda, from o'clock bingo and from o'clock always shows or quiz. There is beach volleyball, water polo, darts. jedochh no soccer. Tennis court is also available, not the newest rackets and so on but just for fun really ok, the hour costs 4 €and the place is off in the afternoon in the shade. Cleanliness on the whole hotel and at the beach great! At the beach there are however no showers. But even the toilets at the beach are very clean! Depending on the current you seaweed at the beach and in the water, but you should not vergessenn the sea is nature and against the hotel can't make. Otherwise really crystal clear water and you can really quite far into the sea walk in and it is not after a meters deep. Loungers and umbrella are at the beach and at the pool included. Very beautiful, peaceful hotel. Pleasant guests, usually only couple, also lots of guests from 50 years. Many british people. However really only quiet guests, no 'night life'. No family hotel. The hotel I recommend with all inclusive, here really everything was included, really all drinks at each bar (except for the american bar in the entrance area, but there is nothing especially, there are plenty of other encouraged in the hotel), breakfast, lunch and dinner anyway, as well as all snacks, also at the beach bar. Merely if you for example instead of the local whisky an original Jack Daniels or similar would like, should you pay, but otherwise all drinks, cocktails and so on included. There is also a dinner ( respectively we had in the low season even 2) in the french à la carte' Nobel' hotel's restaurant included. To the hotel has a small supermarket, where you can drinks buy, for the fridge in the room, very cheap ( bottle of water 0.50 Euro, a L anta/ Cola and so on 1.50 Euro).

From the airport approximately 20 to 30 minutes the hotel lies 2 ter row almost directly at the beach. To the beach you go approximately 2 to 3 minutes, this really is not a problem. One must not street cross or sunday In the area are mostly still other hotels. On the road directly in front of the hotel there are a few small markets (souvenirs and so on). C. a. 5 minutes on foot was a relatively large shopping mall ( clothes, souvenirs, food and so on). Apart from that there are on the road right not much. The rooms are modern and nicely decorated, however is not so especially much cleaned. The mirror the wardrobe are smeared, there are griffspuren the previous guests on the furniture. We were already in September 2011 for one week and recovered super and absolutely comfortable. At that time were 98% English with an average age of 50 to 80 years. Our room was very chic decor. Everywhere lights and glitzersteinchen ;-) Bath spacious and functional. Fridge, telephone and tv with 3 German channels. Our balcony faced the inside area of the hotel ( view of the sea), but you were the music didn't bother us. From midnight is the music silent made, so you in peace its beauty sleep can provide. Daily cleaning and fresh bedding, as well as towels are of course!

In the hotel there are several bars, which you all had to try! Mostly we sat outside. Music was decent in the background, it was but also live music offered. The holiday entertainers were not pushy and it gave at the back stage always something for the people, the not so fast are tired (bingo, dance, games, etc.). The buffet was more than enough and diverse. You could choose between hearty and sweet choose. Fresh salad were always offered, exactly the mandatory ice and cakes. The crêpes you're definitely try... Delicious!

On the day of arrival we were with a welcome cocktail. Everything was explained and described. Our room was still not ready and we were an equivalent as transition offered. Of al we our proper room move, we found a fruit plates, a bottle of water and a bottle of wine as an excuse for. The men at the front desk were always very informative, even if not all speak German have. With the normal English you always got along! The chambermaids make also a good job. Room were always to our satisfaction cleaned, beds every day changed and the decoration from our beds was great! Our waiter ezzeddine was the best on the whole restaurant! We carried it forward ;-). With 5 Euro tip at the beginning and at the end of our vacation we could the benefits of the maids and our waiter not complain!

Pools were clean, showers available, complex well maintained-very comfortable! The beach was in general clean, only the cigarette butts would not have to be... There were camel trips, catamaran turns, jet skiing and trips with a pirate ship is available. The camel tour we took part in and the time of our life! These tours are Josef -travel guide to it. Loungers you should, exactly like all other tourist, with the obligatory towel reserve. Chairs are free-editions cost 0,50 Euro per day.

Our revenues destination should the royal kenz in Tunisia his. We can negative reviews don't understand! The hotel has us super well fallen. The rooms are in the oriental style and equipped with bath, tv and balcony, respectively terrace more than enough. The hotel complex is very generous and with 2 pools equipped. Lots of palm trees and other locals plants smart in the full picture inserted. It, they paid attention, that the complex keep it up well maintained remains. Small ' schandfleckchen ' one can confidently ignoer. You are not allowed forget, in what country one is! We had, because of the lots of negative reviews, a queasy feeling and the worst ready made. But none of the negative descriptions applied. The royal kenz is mostly of English and french booked, a few German we have nevertheless met. In spite of the note, that children under 16 years are not allowed, the hotel was full of kids. This didn't really bother us, the complex is very big.

The way to the beach is about 250 meters. The beach section belongs to the hotel. At the beach there is a beach bar, which we diligently used. We had booked all inclusive and this also used. The food in the beach bar we didn't use. The port of Port el Kantaoui is very recommendable. We were 3 times, after we got in the next larger city sousse dared... Alone not recommendable, as it is very busy and noisy. At the port against you have lots of small shops, in which one his purchases active can. Souvenirs included. This could be reached on the best with a taxi for etwa 5 Dinar (2,50 Euro). Bargaining was obligatory!

Since we only had one budget room book, we have a better utility closet set. We booked, after we had found ( the hotel is very labyrinthine), very over the room looking forward to it. Toilet was separated from the bathroom. Big enough the room was, a small balcony we had ( with a view of the sea!). There was a lot of closet space in the room. The room was not yet been renovated, it had a carpet, the new rooms are tiled. The condition of the carpet but it was normal, not in devastating condition.

We really liked the food, as it always fish ( not so good, because it was too greasy ), meat and all possible side dishes was. The beef was excellent, as well as the crepes. At lunch you could relax baguettes or pizza get, if you don't go to the restaurant wanted. Was of course the restaurant full, but it was paid attention fast they quote, if it is not already happened. The waiters were easy overburdened, since very many tables edit had and often with special requests of the guests been confronted. We also have here to tip given, as our waiter very friendly and hard-working were.

One introdution, we didn't have any complaints, needed no doctor and nothing else, what from the hotel at additional services offered, so we can also comment. When we arrived, we were at the front desk addressed on German, which we were very surprised, since not a soul in the hotel allegedly spoke German. We felt however also always tried with the people french or to speak English. There were also enough waiter there, a few German, and with a speak German. What the tips regards, we gladly there the waiters a weekly wages of around 20 to 30€have, and the other staff certainly less. From time to time 2 Dinar make no arm, and you will be friendly treated, since one to use the benefits of the staff honored. The rooms were really good cleaned, as everywhere in other holiday countries.

The pools were very nice. Loungers we always without any problems ( with umbrella) received! We had that already completely different. The garden is very beautifully built and was great well-kept. Animation, evening agenda we didn't use, it was however a very pleasant and dedicated German animator on the complex. Who total variety used, should another complex search. We wanted to only relax, and this is more than adequate.

We just came from the vacation back and ask us, in which hotel all the negative reviewer were. Of course, not everything super good, but it is in Afrika and not in the five star hotel in Germany. The number of rooms was large and our room was far in the back, so we had a long way to go. A few ants we had also (5-10). There were mostly french guests and English there, so time is not the German ( like for instance in Spain) beside it behaved. We had booked all inclusive.

So little money as on this vacation we have never spent. Originally we had wanted to excursions book, but it was easy too hot, but there are plenty of excursions offered.

The rooms were normal size, the bathroom very generous ( with a bath, large sink, washbasin, toilet). Double beds, air conditioning, fridge, telephone, flat screen tv with three German programs ( satellite. 1, ZDF and super RTL). Terrace with seating possibility The rooms were very clean.

In the hotel area there is in the entrance hall 2 bars, one of them in the all inclusive-approach, the other goes extra ( we didn't use). There was a large dining room with buffet and a à la carte restaurant (1 time per week usable, but before at the front desk reserved/be booked); also here the beverages extra, as well as the beach bar ( only lunch possible; without reservation) There is for the food in the large dining room two service-times: 1.) breakfast 6:30 A. M. until: o'clock; lunch 12:30 A. M. until: o'clock; dinner 6:30 P. M. until: o'clock 2.) breakfast 8:30 A. M. until: o'clock; lunch 2:00 P. M. until: o'clock; dinner 8:30 P. M. until: o'clock We had the 1. Service and only 1 mark had breakfast, because the time definitely to was early. The breakfast we can therefore not rate. Lunch and dinner was-but it' mass processing' was, acceptable, one is full. In the evening there was even the possibility a pasta directly freshly prepare to leave or fresh crepes. The food was always enjoyable. The waiters have drinks brought, what you wanted ( soft drinks, beer, wine). The dirty dishes they have abetragen, as soon as you return to the buffet went. Also the beverages they were refilled. In the à la carte restaurant you can -course menu do-it-yourself. It was delicious. It was freshly prepared and the waiters were very accommodating. The atmosphere was also very pleasant and noble. We felt the food for the last night and didn't regret it.

The staff were always friendly and to ask about. The waiters were excited about a tip, the maid also. The staff speaks fluent in arabic, french and English. Often also a few phrases of German, the one more, the other less. It is however completely sufficiently in order to communicate, emergency help hands and feet. The rooms were always between 9:00 A. M. and 4:00 P. M. cleaned, here we have nothing to complain about. In the hotel there was a hairdresser and a spa center, this however against extra payment (however only who's uses). Complaints we had no.

There were two pools outside ( with chlorine-water) and a indoor pool ( with salt water; we didn't use). The a pool was next to a swimmer area A non-swimmer- respectively children's area and the other pool was rather for the adults ( continuous depth of one and a half meters). During the day you could by the pool in the aqua gym participate ( animator from Germany), otherwise various water games in the pool area. In the pool area were enough chairs and sun screens available ( cushions you had to extra pay with 1 Dinar on the day per edition = 0.50 Euro). Showers were also available and also available. There was also other leisure offers ( tennis, golf, etc.). But we couldn't say anything respectively write, because we did not use it. Access to the internet is also available for a fee - however we didn't make use of it. On the beach, there was also enough chairs, an edition also here 1 Dinar on the day = 0.50 Euro), as well as sun screens with shelf space. The entertainers also came now and then and asked, whether you volleyball want to play. The field was right next to the beach. At the beach bar were toilets available and shower facilities.

The hotel comprises 456 room and suites, mainly a all inclusive-hotel. One sees the hotel not, how old it is, here and there but the plaster crumbled from the walls, but the maid removed. The rooms and also the complexes are very tidy and clean. In the transaction is included in the all inclusive-concept the food ( breakfast, lunch, dinner), all drinks ( also alcoholic), the sunbeds at the pool and the beach, as well as a dinner in the à la carte restaurant. In this hotel are mainly british guests, a few but also tunisians, french and German. The average age was from young (babies) to old.

The distance to the beach is about 5 minutes on foot. The town port kantaoui is in about 5 to 10 minutes with the taxi. The airports are 35 kilometer (monastir) and 40 kilometer ( enfihda ) away. In the hotel complex there is a small kiosk, you can with water, Cola, cookies, sunscreen, floats, and so on setting. Apart from that are opposite the hotel still 3 shops, but not really inviting impression did. Excursions are offered many, but as we a beach vacation made, we have the excursions not taken into account.

We had a superior room with a balcony and with a view of the pool and the sea. The room was tiled, with a very large mirrored wardrobe. The air conditioning was very good. To the greetings were a fruit plates, a bottle of red wine and water available. Bathrobes were also available. The cleanliness was very good. No complaints.

There was a big restaurant where the meal times to be taken. Well close it is, but as we were early risers were, was very lots of space available also during dinner. Used the american bar. The food was rich and good, unfortunately no dishes typical of the country ( unfortunately) Twice the week there was from us tip (5 tnd) Cola and Fanta costs in the evening 3 tnd, beer ( bottle or glass 4 tnd) The tablecloth, as well as the dishes was always clean. No complaint.

We had very nice waiter, the jokes on the lips had. Some could German, apart from that you could get by with English well. Well against tip they almost went out :-) Our maid the room very clean kept. Every day fresh towels. No ants in the room:-) At the reception we were welcomed in a friendly manner and also spoken to in German. The only fault was, that there were no instruction as the safe is handled, but it was on demand immediately helped :-) Complaints we had no.

Animation we did not go through as we the entire day at the beach were. The evening entertainment was not so great. In the hotel area there are a small store where you some article can buy ( water sixpack of water easily fit inside 1 lt) The beach was so reasonably clean but could be better. Loungers and protection from the sun were enough available. Are missing but unfortunately showers \u263a The pool we didn't use.

The complex is very large but well arranged. There are so to the 400 room. The rooms beach chair complicated but you will find these very quickly. In the hotel itself was cleaned every day, also the toilets. We had consciously half board taken, since we have large eaters are :-) The average age from 12 to 70. Many british people, french, a handful of russians and little German.

To the beach it are really only 5 minutes depending on as fast one goes :-) There are shops directly opposite the hotel and on the height from the hotel left. ( shopping center) about 10 minutes the hawaii center. Excursions we didn't use it but were offered.

Size more than ok. Unfortunately already run-down. Furniture is nice and typical of the country. We had a room with a balcony and view of the sea in the main building. There was a small flat screen and a small fridge. Safe unfortunately only in a small chamber next to the reception.

As I have already mentioned. If you are looking for a friendly service, have to pay! Food& drinks are relatively good. Breakfast was not so good. Too much at English orientated. But is matter of taste. The lunch at the beach bar is up to few details subject to a charge! Different than in the hotel description mentioned.

Staff are unfortunately only at a charge friendly. You pay enough tip you will like a king served. Without unfortunately not at all attention! Somehow unfortunately. Room were also to payment of tip better cleaned. Staff could hardly speak German. For the wichtigsgten things but it was fine.

German animator very good. Pool also okay. Beach very clean & the hotel security, at the beach for peace for vendors. Loungers & umbrella free. Only editions at a charge. At the beach you can from external offerers from jet ski to paragliding everything at a charge flute.

For the price what we expected! All inclusive was pretty good, except for breakfast. It was relatively clean. Many young clientèle and hardly children. Hotel is already a bit outdated and partly run-down. Repairs only poorly made.

Distance to the hotel's own beach approximately 200 meters. Shops in both directions directly on the street if you exit the hotel. Beware! Price in the hotel own market often considerably cheaper as with the surrounding shops. Who peace before the partial brazen and pushy vendors in the area to have wants, the in the stores where outside ' fixed prices' tin. Price often nevertheless cheaper and your peace! Excursions were for our taste not much great for everyone. Camel riding was fun but also annoying. Locals respectively staff at the camel left no opportunity women anzugrabschen. Hotel & beach oK, outside you should not look around! A lot dirty and full of garbage & therefore also the odor.

Rooms are very nicely furnished. Tv receives 3 German channels (satellite. 1, ZDF, super RTL) Fridge and air conditioning are available. Air conditioning runs only if the key Safe should be paid separately. Size is for 2 persons enough. The rooms wise men signs of wear on, are but nevertheless yet in good condition.

In the restaurant you right on the first day an allocated table. There is a 1 and 2 layer. Who in the first layer is must early get up. But we have the service can exchange. To eat you will find there is always something. The choice is large and all nationalities are represented. For the food is always a waiter for a area divided the drinks top up and dishes aggressively wiping down earlier Drinks there are always and everywhere free (all inclusive) Hungry you will never, the times from food and in between there are snacks à la carte restaurant one must just on the first day reserve. There are 2 pools. Both very nice There is entertainment during the day and evenings. During the day there are fitness and fun games. Animation evenings is rather boring. It is for only the changed the actively participate. Otherwise attracts very, because at 5 languages will be made Kids club does not exist. The hotel is very beautiful and comfortably furnished. It has approximately 400 rooms, works but nevertheless not crowded. You always find a place in order to sit down. The hotel is very for couples suited. We have very many couples seen. It is very recommendable.

Hotel very nice, as soon as you enter the grounds left you are in the heart of the tunisian life. Everywhere rubbish, main street is past (you get in the hotel not with), bazaar and a shopping center is right outside, taxis parking in front of the entrance. To the beach you have 5 minutes walk, but the way is from the hotel beautified To the next town of sousse you need with the taxi circa 30 minute The landscape is very interesting and beautiful, unfortunately it will rather garbage and it smells also
