The 4 star the hotel has not deserved! The hotel is distributed on several houses, which several streets reachable are. However lack any guide on paths and streets. Furthermore you had to through the tiefgaragendschungel walk, to the main building to get. Here also without signs! The paths are also poorly lit, what a unfallgefähr represents.
The food is 0-8-15, little choice (2 main courses in the buffet!) And tasted nothing special. The hotel bar is simply understaffed, which had as a consequence that we always at least a half an hour on our drinks had to wait, the staff ... stressed and understandably overburdened was. The hotel with our group easily the double deserves, would be the staff available confessed.
In the course of of the evenings were the tables, on which the buffet presented, not cleaned. So we had to constantly the leftovers and dirty tables look at on the way to the toilet or to the exit. Although the staff constantly present was-blind or overburdened staff?
Also there was no information beforehand, that bathrobes at the front desk and towels by the pool are available. That would be check in very nice %blank%.
In the hotel was advertised, that guests pistenpässe cheaper to buy. On demand at the front desk there was the answer' they are unfortunately -but anyway only 1.50 or 3 Euro discount '. Nice hotel in a very good location, excellent child care, there were always the wishes and ideas of the children and the front of the background, that the children until 14 years even preisinklusive are. Great offer at the buffets in the morning and evening. The kids buffet always a great offer. Desirable more staff in the restaurant. Also would be a newer tv in the room well, with the most rooms with a flat screen facilities. We had unfortunately a older fernsehmodell. The division ' cosmetics ' is very recommendable, we had several offers with booked. read more

Very nice massive hotel with great rooms and beautiful view into the mountains.
Very good service, the hotel is on different buildings, the residences are generally beautiful and spacious as in the main building. But you have a on foot to the restaurant or to the spa in the hotel.
Gym is unfortunately pretty antiquated, only 1 treadmill and a kaaftturm, here would be improvement appropriate. There is a. Rggroße sauna and a inside and a in winter as well open outside pool
Also good for larger events, good tagungsrauemlichkeiten! read more

Only lots to say, we the 4. and last time there were.
The hotel has itself in all areas deteriorated. From the lack of service, closed bar in the pool area, no towels in the sauna area during lunch and at the weekend großreisegruppenabfertigung.
We had a room in the c area, this was very clean and up-to-date (only plus on this weekend). Actually, we had the sunday a massage with for offer, the we thankfully declined and are in the early morning left.

We are now already the 3. time in this hotel and with the offer still satisfied. You just have to accept, that this would be more of a seminar hotel is. We stayed in this hotel over new year's
The staff at the bars was with few guests already completely overstrained,
As well as the servers in the restaurants.
The breakfast was as far as completely reasonable.
The dinner in buffet form was not that great either in terms of selection and taste.
On new year's eve there was 3 different places in the hotel where a new year's eve buffet was offered.
We were very disappointed from the food offered and the layout of the buffets.
It was a crowd and crowd for the food get, because one the buffet ... obviously totally haphazard built.
Also was only an hour the buffet partly empty and was not enough.
The only positive thing was the kindness of the staff and especially mrs huber at the front desk.
Conclusion not again to this hotel, especially better for less money in the allgäu is. read more

Hotel has a huge number of rooms spread over several buildings. Reminds of a bunker. Everything is full with cars-in principle the area only one car park. For breakfast is somehow the underground car park (somehow, because in the house no comments are available where you should go).
The hotel is the opposite of what one of an atmospheric hotel in the allgäu
I had a single room for 150 Euro the night! Four star. The hotel has the charm of a motel on the highway with 1 star and 40 Euro including breakfast.
The room has no wi-fi, no ... mini bar, not even a glass of, not to mention a kettle.
Completely unacceptable in this category. Televison bother us, that this device not used.
After complaining at the front desk it was said to me, that i the lowest category would have booked. Thank you! For 150 Euro the night! - an isolence!
The front desk wanted to speak up-but it didn't!
There are certainly nicer rooms. But the breakfast is for all the same, and also there: a maximum of 1 star standard. read more

For families not really suitable. Few possibilities for playing available. Room was very big but unfortunately with carpet, the was very stained. Bathroom for very small. Staff in the restaurant was very friendly and hard-working but badly organized. The best in the week the food was( half board). Very varied, very nicely arranged, and very delicious. read more

Room decor ( tv) because of territorial realities not usable (didn't through the banister lentils). Bathroom for 'large' humans unsuitable. The staff at the hotel is always very friendly and very helpful. The in-house dining and the free time area ( sauna, swimming pool) are completely overloaded and overburdened by the number of tour groups and coach tours: the very attractive prepared buffet was always in the twinkling lehrgeräubert of tons of coach tours, the staff came not at all with the population-) in the dining room was a noise level as in a Großstadtbahnhof, both in the morning for breakfast, as well as evenings during dinner, at times it was simply impossible, to the buffet to arrive. An ... incredible imposition for all single -, couple- or Familiennreisenden. The spa area ( pool and sauna) was for thousands of people not at all laid out, a few showers in the sauna area you queue, the saunas were unbearably crowded, in the be any overfilled plates which landed saunas prevailing cackle simply intolerable and the rewarded wellness not conducive. Unfortunately was the night's sleep disturbed by constantly running§1, calling and noisy laughing groups.
The environment of the hotel is very nice. Unfortunately, that hotel management completely obvious take everything wants, as passengers and by the variety of coach tours and travel/conference guests the atmosphere ( families) from the view loses. Actually it would certainly have been possible, the massive Masses of overnight guests organize, that the single -, couple and Familienreisenden not so fall and the Rand down. A great shame! We have unfortunately a little relaxing weekend and now for the bad feeling, our money not spent. read more

The hotel is in my opinion too big has become, because it consists of several houses. However there is no connection without the building to leave. And a lot of steps, missing lifts. This is again bad for people who not are light on their feet. We had club excursions with a night/ half board. We had lots of people over 60 years. read more

Have since 1988 at least 30 times holiday at the allgäu stern made. Mostly with wife and son. Was also always satisfied, otherwise i would not so often returned. The last vacation 2012 was awful. Rotisserie -against an extra charge- booked., nevertheless some times to eat the 'panorama' asked, as rotisserie closed-reason not mentioned. Table i had to stock up on your own, because not enough staff and so on. My experiences immediately after the holiday in september in writing the hotel and to make a brief reply. This i-despite threefold fernm. Demand still don't get. I was only mitgetelt ..., that the hotel in the 'break' and that the staff be increased would. If i within the näcshten 4 weeks nothing more from the hotel hear, i will my vacation in future spend elsewhere. It is for these 'good' price certainly fancier, and honest hotels. Perhaps read my criticism, which is really still harmless was represented, a responsible person of the allgäu stern and gives me an answer. read more

Were now to the 2. Mal the allgäu stern and it was really every time worth the trip. Our son is pleased already before like crazy and is afterwards sad, if we go back to leave.
The Vorbeurteilern us unfriendliness of the staff we just couldn't confirm. No matter wether check in, service, Concierge or dining. Always one was served in a friendly manner and accommodating treated. No matter wether ask for excursions, Bycicle tour (with maps ), bathrobe for kids or ethernet cable ( internet is in the room), everything was promptly, quickly and friendly cared for.
Both times ... we had luck and it was relatively few going on, so that we often the pool- and wellness area completely for us. Our son the of course wholeheartedly use it. Would the a or other Silicone groove renewed and the underwater lighting was completely broken, however therefor it was clean and tastefully designed.
The from US-covered room was not direct view on the mountains, but sideways you could but see, but in view of the temperatures during the previous week the room was in the shade the truly better alternative. Our room, was as already in the spring very tastefully decorated in white and dark brown furniture. With flat screen, internet, fridge, safe, balcony, bathroom with bath tub and shower also very well equipped and of course really clean. There is nothing to fault.
We had the half board and could therefore in the morning and evenings the rich, varied and tasted good buffet enjoy. No matter wether in the morning with scrambled egg and ham, fruit, vegetables, various cheese, muesli, bread, rolls, juices, marmelade, everything was in sufficient quantities available, was always refilled and the staff were very accommodating. For lactose intolerance suitable we next hear ( extra rolls, Spreads amongst others). Evenings the same picture. Delicious food where one view. Hot and cold in rough Quantities, so that each something will find (OK our son nahm rollmops and dry rolls:-) ) delicious desserts, salads, meat dishes, pasta. Each evening changing dishes, so that it never boring or dull was.
All together we are next year definitely again the allgäu Stern hotel guests and are already looking forward to it. read more

We had a family room with 2 bedrooms and a large lounge and therefore sufficient space for 5 people. Super breakfast and varied dinner buffet and additionally twice brunch on the hut. For our kids were both a kids Club ( unfortunately only in the morning ), as well as soccer/ tennis, as well as a/games room available. Table tennis, a Freilandschach, as well as a Volleyballsandplatz is available. The playground is available, however nothing special well maintained. But were free-and indoor pool, as well as a generous sauna area available. The staff were too many child-friendly. We can really ... recommend the hotel and are definitely coming again, as it is very many excursions %BLANK%. read more

We had a beautiful, renovated room with a view on the mountains, only the bathroom is really tiny. Safe in the room available, very pleasant! The whole hotel exudes a little 80. Jahre -charm from. Basically was but everything okay and clean. For breakfast was the service a little unorganized. The selection at the buffet were both for breakfast, as well as during dinner reasonable, but nothing special. read more
