The hotel was very many rooms. In accordance with a note in the hotel there are all rooms renovated.

The Hotel Holiday Inn New York City midtown is already a bit dated. However should be 2013 one of the two hotel towers be renovated. The cleanliness was not european standards (but it seems in the USA to be normal), but was perfectly acceptable. The location of the hotel could hardly be better. The Columbus cycle is only five minutes on foot away, from there you can reach all New York City easily accessible by subway. read more

Hotel not 4 stars for this hotel price completely covered!
Bathroom an isolence, when we arrived 30 minutes wait could no reservation find, staff at the reception very unfriendly.
Bathroom dirty in the bathtub, as well as in the sink still plenty of hair from our predecessors.
The only plus is totally central, one is in 5 minutes to the Columbus-circle. read more

The advantages outweigh! favorable location, decent/ clean/ spacious rooms, coffee machine and hair dryer available, friendly waiters ( German however not at the front desk spoken), free Wi-Fi - also the new large flat screens passable, breakfast ( we have however not used), but also lunch and dinner is offered - the food in the bistro was very good, fitness room, pool on the roof - very nice.
Disadvantage: to the street very noisy, that means sleep only with oropax possible. No fridge/ mini bar. Little storage space (with occupancy of more than 2 persons in the room), no safety ... deposit box in the room - a small compartment for valuables is however free of charge at the front desk to get. In the hotel shop ( for souvenirs, postcards etc. Extremely unfriendly service! - but since one must definitely not shopping). read more

Very close to Central Park and Times Square, location good, area lobby etc. Also very nice, rooms okay, renovation the same is in the next months planned, would certainly have even more recommendable, Wi-Fi everywhere, for city breaks definitely recommendable read more

All together a good hotel in a central location. Only about 15 minutes to the Central Park and the Broadway. Verhungern one does definitely not, there everywhere possibilities there are something to eat. The subway-stop is directly on-site.
The breakfast buffet was quite expensive (32 Dollar for 2 people) for the offer. For this price we would have liked more choice expected. But it was OK. Have a day in the hotel breakfast, the other then outside.
What disturbed me, was that it was super noisy and I without ear plugs could not sleep. read more

A good hotel in a central location. Central Park and Times Square are the only around 15 minutes away on foot. Nearby are many good restaurants and subway stations. The service of the staff was perfect! Couldn't be better. We had and an important document Germany to the hotel chic leave, there was no problem taken and safe, until we picked up. Therefore is this hotel our absolute recommendation, since it was in the midfield play. read more

no real complaints location is for a city break nearly perfect,-P. p. on events, transport and tickets should you prefer to one of the tourist information at the time-square (or taxi drivers ask)-the switch in the hotel seemed to us overpriced. read more

For a city trip very suitable. One is to foot in about ten minutes away from the time square. Breakfast diner right diagonally across the street (good morning CAFE). The rooms are holiday inn pleasant spacious. Cleanliness was okay, the building is however as many people in a small little new York getting old, but had no negative impact on the hotel! Wiki is free in the entire hotel! read more

Holiday inn Manhattan is located in a great central location, underground station five minutes away, walking distance is about a ten minutes to the central park, 15 minutes footpath to fifth avenue. The rooms are for a hotel in the middle of the city great, the bathroom was a bit small, but who spends a lot of time in new York in the bathroom? The maid all special wishes fulfilled immediately (for example no entkoffenierten coffee for the coffee maker in the room refill, but only 'real' coffee), the room was always super clean. The Staff at the front desk ... are always willing to explain everything- great! Overall I would recommend this hotel, a good city hotel in the 'holiday inn look' (thus rather seventies style) read more

The holiday inn in the 57. Road is in a good location nearby the central park. The nearest subway can be reached in five minutes on foot, the nearest Starbucks for the morning breakfast. Our room was old and shabby, but very clean. Bed linen, towels and shower curtain were always tip top. We had no bugs in the form of animal roommates, mice, etc., as you well for more often in some hotels there. Our room was quite large and offered enough space for three people, seeing that we were only there to sleep anyway. The bathroom was already ... a bit ailing and the carpet in the room could use some renovation. The pool was already closed. October of course at the end of tv and dining we didn't used. Tip: to the beliebtetsten sights (top of the rocks, the Empire State building, Statue of Liberty, etc.) as early as possible overshoot, the queues are not so long. read more

One of the few hotels in New York, which really offers large rooms.
Highly recommended. Clean, bright and friendly rooms. Excellent access to subway and bus lines. read more

The hotel is more than in need of renovation!! It really have to be almost kernsaniert! Everywhere has plaster falling out of the walls and ceilings, now even from the moment you step into the lobby The elevators stink, the hallways smell, and the room anyway! A moldy smell from the staff tried to be covered, with several room freshner was overwhelming, but very little! The crowd is rather underclass, or Americans which do not a 'better' hotel can afford. We would have avoided not expected from a Holiday Inn. It is on par with MAX. 2 Stars, but never ... 4 stars!!! read more

the holiday Inn was amazing. Very near to the center location! (10 minutes on foot the Ti-mesquite/ 5 minutes to the central park and the underground station Columbus Circle)
we have fourth in a room with 2 queens size beds, which for the last one week fully OK. The room was sufficient large and we found little to nothing to fault-back on hangers.
A small tip: for dinner once left around the corner the 9th Ave along the 'route 66' (route66 café NYC. Com) very comfortable small restaurant with very delicious Burgers at fair ... prices!
we had in our day absolute Lucky with the weather! Sunshine! In the November with 21 C in the T-shirt by the centralpark-a dream!

In the large and all it what the cleanliness and the size of the room. The hotel or rather the floors where we were is in a strong Überholungsbedarf. What also partly made (in our floor they began the time). Breakfast we didn't use it, there are enough out to eat. read more

The cleanliness wasn't up to scratch! I don't know if all floors so were but our floor 9 was very moldy. They tried to make it "mask" but only with white paint the broken ACCIDENTLY however, easy with the suitcase. In the bathroom we had mold on the ceiling, which wasn't very good as my brother a Schimmelallergie. There wasn't a safe, what a pretty bad, as you could easily leave the doors (which I did not try the door, but you could not lock). The TV was in order. And the beds were very comfortable. A balcony there was ... and how in New York normal room windows also only a crack open; ). So for people who just need a Child Policy this is a good hotel, since it was very cheap. But people who want to feel at home, should stay at a different one. read more

Hotel rooms are for NewYorker standards very spacious and kept very clean. Fresh towels every day, clean sheets several times. Unfortunately the hallway was run down and in accordance with written signs at the elevators just before the renovation. This made our stay though. We were almost spend all day outside the rooms like mentioned top. Safe was included at the front desk. All staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast there is none. This is in NY hotels also unusual. Diners Club there is a block both toward Hudson down the street as well as the road up toward the ... subway. Breakfast and service on both very good. read more
