The Lux grand gaube has a manageable number of rooms, the complex itself is quite spacious. The guest structure puts mostly from italians, french, british and travellers from the german-speaking area together. Mostly it is for couples or families between 30 and 50 years. read more

    At first we had a super iour and later a deluxe room, both of facilities and location nothing to be desired let. However is clear, that on the hotel, the now is already older, in the next years a considerable renovation to play. So in particular the balconies and also the furniture ageing.

    There was a main restaurant, in the breakfast and dinner in buffet form to be taken. This is atmospherically very beautifully designed and clean. The a la carte restaurants we didn't use. Compared to the last year has the quality of the dishes decreased significantly, the selection was clearly limited. This corresponds the gastronomy not currently the standard or the classification.

    The entire staff is very friendly and tried hard. All speak english and french. At the room cleaning could hardly be faulted. Complaints were immediately reacted.

    The beach is wonderful, the water sports are almost all free of charge and the staff there are very professional and friendly. If the hotel good is, however, the loungers on the main sea front about. Also, they should in the next years be exchanged, since they were are somewhat outdated.

Very nice hotel however the rooms are unfortunately not in top condition. For example curtains with stains, in the bathroom the joints partly. Moldy, when rain drips esim vestibule from above of the airconditioning. read more

Very nice feng shui hotel, gorgeous scenery, staff are very friendly, helpful, always being cleaned, Holy evening was wonderful hosts, what more could you not offer. There was nothing to complain about. read more

The Lux grand gaube is the most beautiful hotel i have ever seen. The complex is simple fantastic and you feel in good hands on the complex. All employees are always very friendly and relaxed. The perfect atmosphere for a great vacation to 2. Everything looks in reality nor beautiful as in the catalog /internet i was after our arrival just speechless and am still with the view of the photos. It is worthwhile here all inclusive additionally booked there the price of drinks but are quite high. Great hotel in a paradise. Great location in a beautiful bay. Superior room very recommendable. Kitchen excellent both buffet as well as à la carte possible. Excellent water sports. Free sailing Glass bottom boat trip water skiing possible. We had booked all inclusive and this absolutely recommend. Beautiful hotel with great service. Ideal for a wonderful vacation. read more

Never again... If the hotel 5 stars, i rate the kennel my dog with 10 stars. Fail to understand how this reviews here come, but bathroom dirty, toilet a no-go, mattresses under the sheets totally dirty and with massive holes, balcony was not even swept or cleaned. Furniture the fall apart if you want to use, peeling paint everywhere from, nee so what is not nice. The knives could also times be strengthened in the dining room! read more

The hotel was first class. The complex is very clean and super nice. While we were there, there were the majority of the guests probably around 30 years (many, as we also at the hotel) in the last days of our vacation came more and more guests with small children and guests in the age between and. The nationalities were mixed between English, Italian, German and a few from other countries like for instance India. read more

    That is the only, we had to complain about. It is absolutely clean and the open bathroom with open bath tub to the room is absolutely brilliant. However you are not allowed look into the corners, the here already little mold out. And I believe, that such a thing in such a perfect and clean hotel, must not be allowed to happen. But one can over some see, since everything else absolutely was perfect.

    There are 3 restaurants and 1 bar. In 2 restaurants you can a la carte food. Simply outstanding. It has us super well fallen, as we were always only at the buffet the dinner to go. Breakfast and dinner buffet were in one of the 3 listed restaurants. In the bar there was at noon also a ' la carte food. So here just nothing to be desired. The food is always fresh and very delicious. I would recommend to anyone, all inclusive to book, since the prices food and also the beverages are quite high. And who wants to on vacation constantly on the price look...

    There are 2 pools. The one is directly at the bar. If you a little quiet like, should the pool at the back from the hotel use. But these are both absolutely clean. Luckily there is no annoying animations. If you want something for his figure want to do, has plenty of sports, like for instance fitness room, tennis and plenty of water sports activities. The beach is very clean and since two beach sections there, one can always find a quiet spot.

    The hotel lies bit outside of town. On foot one needs about 10 minutes. Therefore shops not directly right next to hotel. It is but also from the hotel many possibilities given, into town to arrive. From the airport to the hotel you need good one and a half hour.

The complex the total is nice and good! The rooms are massive! And a ocean view room is worthwhile here definitely! The restaurants were great! Both the breakfast, as well as the dinner - a sensation for the geschmackssinne! Also here is the concept of Lux resort put into practice! The only thing which I am not pleased is the beach / the water. The bathing area is only very small and you are not really deep in the water. Swimming is a bit tricky so. Otherwise the bay was apparently many a time with seaweed to, so that a ... relaxed swim is difficult. I would have 14 days vacation there, I would be grossly from the beach / water disappointed been. However the complex itself - super nice! Quite class and particularly to mention the spa! A real oasis of wellbeing!-) read more

Our expectations were high, we weren't disappointed. It expected a wonderful hotel at two lagoons. The staff has such an incredible friendliness and warmth and las us the wishes almost from the eyes. If you're looking for action is in the wrong place here. Peace, relaxation, spa, water sports or a brilliant food, as well as a good glass of wine, the things, in the Lux find and enjoy. A problem they immediately and without much federlesen to make through the management to the complete satisfaction quickly sorted out. Internet and the telephoning from the red telephone box are free ... of charge. Nice evening entertainment with changing program. The entertainment for kids is in french. read more

    The room was brilliant, the bathroom is open to the bedroom and really nice and very spacious. Separate toilet. The furniture could do with a revision stand, were altogether very tastefully. The bed has a pleasant height and hardness. For our daughter there was a sofa bed open daily for breakfast and evenings and opened up. Through our move in the upper floor we came into the benefit, from the jacuzzi from the sunset to follow. The has what! Television in french and English, apart from that only ZDF. The mini bar is in all-inclusive also, which is very convenient. These were looted and refilled. Very nice were the always fresh flowers and flowers in the room.

    One yearneth formal times after 10 days a portion fries with all the delicious food. Breakfast is in buffet form with all, what your heart desires. You could eat lunch in 3 restaurants À-la-carte food. There is however also meals, the all inclusive not included. So you just have to have good look. There was a massive choice in the various restaurants, everything is always fresh and in small, pleasant portions prepared and best offers. The afternoon there was also a quick bite, we have however never used them. Evenings there were 2 times per week themed buffet, it is worthwhile ask, whether the food spicy, if you with children on the way, or if you even sensitive. Apart from that à la carte with appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. Also here again a lot all inclusive, so good look, otherwise costs main course 900 rupees, about 26 €.

    Daily room service twice. Fresh towels for shower and beach with daily change. The service in the restaurants is unique. The service is extremely friendly and was always to be had for a joke, if our daughter (10 years) was there. Ricardo and divas speak really good German, apart from that English or french. Not to forget the team was in the kitchen area, in particular for breakfast. Particularly the young woman in the healthy corner, we got through your exciting nature and naturalness in our hearts. On extra wishes was always cared for.

    4 tennis courts, very nice golf course, massive water sports. Kayaking and pedal boats we used them every day. Glass boat to ( unfortunately dead) reef is also a beautiful variety. At high tide water skiing and tube riding, the fun you should definitely allow ( about 12 €for 10 minutes). Fitness room and table tennis are a good alternative when it rains. The bicycles to lend looked very good (car seats, helmets were available). The main pool was tiptop, however unexpectedly fresh), the back pool we did not use. Loungers there were enough. The border is achieved, if the hotel to 75% is busy, so about 300 guests. Then it was in the main area.

    The Lux is located in the north the island. The complex is nearby grand gaube. Details you can get in a shop in the place buy, pub in vain. Taxis and bus are directly in front of the hotel. Shopping in goodlands ( market at the friday!) or grand bay (expensive).

Beautiful and harmonious hotel area with very friendly staff and friendly and great evening entertainment. Dream beach to relax, but not for swimming. At low tide, shallow and silty. If you are looking for peace and quiet is very well taken care off in this hotel! Particularly to highlight was the extremely friendly staff, which with immerwährendem smile the wishes of the guests fulfilled! Somewhat disappointing is the sea, rather cloudy and the man-made lagoon invites hardly for snorkelling a! Otherwise we would this hotel immediately again, only again the excellent seafood platter, which we surprisingly at the beach under palm trees was served, to enjoy! read more

Took us a long time to decide, if it gives to complain anything at all and found nothing. The only drawback for us was the underwater world than 'okay'. We have been to the Maldives and our claim was therefore a bit too high. However, other guests were fascinated by the fish world. Otherwise, we can only express scrapheap with stars, starting from the room about the food and the service. Definitely try: fresh sliced pineapples with chili powder (caution wing). Water sports are right in front of the hotel free of charge usable, but not disturbing at the relaxing ... on the beach chair on the beach. read more

For us it was a very nice hotel. Very large hotel complex with many possibilities, even if we do not all of them took advantage of. In Mauritius, you should keep already with anfderen rain expected (at least in August), but this is easy, since it never gets cool. If we go back to Mauritius, we will probably stay in the same hotel. read more

A dream hotel with excellent restaurants-the food is a menu and buffet in high quality. Through the relatively high extra charges is all inclusive recommendable. The hotel is located in a small bay behind a coral reef. Because of high and low tide the water quality is temporarily restricted. read more

A beautiful hotel, one feels not as a guest, but as a 'guest', the staff is super friendly and very nice! Especially to children (we were with our five year old daughter) is in the hotel a very good condition and clean! A very nice garden area (very clean) and a beautiful pool with sea view. The beach is also very beautiful, small drawback: the water is not so clear and it is a lot of seaweed available, so what not beautiful to walk is. The food is excellent in all the restaurants very good. It is also many Spor ... opportunities. It was for us a real dream vacation, we actually the tamassa Bel Ombre because in have booked (the first week was overbooked) have we then also still this hotel met, but the legend no comparison! read more

We can recommend this hotel really only. A great beach hotel with aisatischem flair. The food in the ginger restaurant could more seasoned, the food in the restaurants were very, very tasty. From our point of view not worth all inclusive (extra charge per person/day 100, -euro). Our ancillary on 450, overall, -EURO (drinks during the day and the food always a good bottle of wine!). Exactly the right hotel to the stress of everyday life to leave, lots and lots of strength and energy for the rays home to! read more

We had booked for a week the Junior suite and the room was what it promised! We were impressed by the hospitality and the service of the house! Disappointed the us has something granular sandy beach and the sea grass 'in the bay. All in all it was but a holiday with our expectations and highly recommend to! read more
