We spend already for years our short break in the hotel blackthorn and the 100% keep it up make! Family dünnebacke and the entire team are nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean an cozy. The food tastes super, is varied and everyone found something for his taste. The massages and wellness treatments are great - can only be recommended! Whether old or young, single, family or couple, all are friendly and accommodating treated. The hotel we have many of our friends recommended. read more

Gladly anytime again. Warm welcome. Very relaxing days spend. With blackforest card you can all public transportation use free. A shopping in Freiburg is therefore nothing in the way. A visit in the bathing paradise titisee you should not miss. 1,5 hours are free of charge (blackforest card). Pleasant spa facilities. Realistic prices. We look forward to next year. Great informally run wellness hotel on the edge the feldberg mountain. We were for hiking and relaxing in the black forest. On arrival we were with a welcome drink welcome. The hotel room was large, very well-kept and comfortable. In the wellness area there are two saunas and a steam room, a pool and lots of different relaxing loungers. The wellness area is very well maintained and attractive. Wellness treatments can you booked on site. The food is amazing. At lunch there was to coffee and tea a small mittagssnack ( for example soup) and homemade cakes. The kitchen attention ... to homemade and above all regional organic food. The staff were always of assistance and friendly. Around the hotel there are several hiking. The Feldberg one reaches in 5-10-minute drive. The badaparadies black forest is located in about 14 kilometer distance. From two nights to receive the black forest card free of charge in addition. We were very satisfied and come definitely again! read more

It is a family-run hotel, which in the course of the years again and again modernised and vergößert was. The rooms and vacation apartments are very homely and comfortable furnished, the bathroom very modern. Everything was very clean. We were with the food very satisfied. Except for the breakfast there was a small lunch/ snack in the afternoon with varying dish and cakes, in addition coffee, juices and water. Delicious. It were lots of guests middle age, partly mt children, there. Most came from Germany, but also the Switzerland was represented. read more

    We had a vacation apartment with 62 square meters size over 2 floors. She was very spacious and had a huge balcony. There were 2 bathroom, a kitchenette, a corner bench with a table and a coffee table with couch and armchairs. To the equipment belonged a flat screen tv, telephone, mp3 players, coffee machine, dishwasher and safe. Everything was in good condition and new.

    The hotel has a very comfortable, in the black forest style, equipped breakfast area and restaurant area. The breakfast buffet was varied, something for everyone. Because we breakfast and lunch booked, we only once in the restaurant to evening ate. Also here we were very accommodating served. The food, in this case, cheese spaetzle and a bauernpfanne, was very good.

    The owner and also the staff were very friendly and helpful. With the cleaning of the rooms we were satisfied. A lot was included in the price, for example a hiking backpack and a umbrella in the room, free phone to the German landlines, there was a games room and a drying room. Complaints were friendly received and dealt with immediately.

    The wellness area is very nice. It is a rather new swimming pool with integrated jacuzzi and massaging jets. Some relaxation rooms, including warmed up keramikliegen, a sunbathing lawn and a sauna area with finnish sauna, bio sauna and steam room. Otherwise there is a fitness room with lots of new fitness equipment.

    The hotel lies directly at the B 500, thus a very good access to lots of places and tourist attractions. We could directly from the hotel many hikes make, but also by car is you very quickly at the Feldberg, Titisee-Neustadt and st. Blasien. In the village of altglashütten there were some shops. Regarding the food, we were however in the hotel well looked after, only additional drinks were because of the heat necessary.

We are with our young daughter verrelst and had a vacation apartment. This was very spacious and nicely furnished. Except the kitchen, the a bit larger and better equipped, a auxiliary point would bring. The hotel is very beautiful, has atmosphere, is not too big. The spa and swimming area is great. The best is however, the service, the 4-course menu on the room/ apartment brings, parents with small child in peace can eat and not offspring in the restaurant afterwards run must. We have nowhere experienced. All in all great and recommendable. read more

We had a vacation apartment in the hotel with approximately 72 meters² and half board for 2 adults and 2 small children. The hotel lies at the black forest Elevated on 1010 meters on foot a wonderful Blumenbergs. A bit noise from the street comes from the street to the hotel. And the parking spaces at the hotel are a bit too few in retirement. Everything else was amazing good: the Eignerfamilie is very nice as well as the remaining staff. The food is excellent and the vacation apartment also very good. The indoor pool is great and the service ... is correct. The value for money is for the offered ratio was very good. We are spoiled customers, that means professionally I am occasionally in 5-5 + - hotels. This revamped than 4 + - hotel, in the overall assessment but also a 5 + - hotel in nothing. There we could have then only a garages service and a larger wellness area. The hotel Blackthorn is very recommendable. We will go there again. read more

The hotel is simply superb. In the hotel there are also vacation apartments, which of course for us as a family was optimal. We had a very, very nice vacation apartment ( lovingly decorated and above all everything very clean; Baby Phon available etc. ). In the house there are a pool, a wellness area, a fitness room and much more, so that at a rainy day also times the whole day with the whole family good in the hotel halt. The dinner in the hotel is a dream. In the morning you can find for breakfast the dinner gathering ..., for children there is obviously meals. Another highlight it is black forest-card, you in the hotel get. It will not in every hotel offered. With this' card ' for us were very many leisure offers free of charge ( for example new swimming pool in titisee -Neustadt, house of nature on Feldberg, Steinwasenpark, ski lifts etc. ). It was simply a super relaxing vacation for the whole family. The hotel is very recommendable. read more

the hotel is very beautiful and clean. We had a Berghüttensuite and was dreamlike & very large. Culinarily we much spoiled. There was something for everyone and the 'z' Middag' was heavenly, this fine cakes! The ski lift with a conveyor for kids was also very nearby and during the week were almost empty. Our junior could thus very good skiing learning. We will be back and shall the area gladly in the summer look at. read more

    Our apartment wasn't the youngest one anymore but it was all together adequate and well maintained. everything you need is available. The hotel room but mostly updated and very nice.

the hotel lies directly at the through road Feldberg-Waste cottages, a raised in the summer (slope) and mountain over the years'grown'. The hotel is located for years family owned/management. The hallmarks of family is everywhere recognisable. The front desk (unfortunately) is on the first floor; that is to say at the check in a bit hard to get used to. The reception was friendly-reserved ( black Foresttypical!?). Other than that, we found the service a bit 'rustic' handling. There were many regular tourists who for years gladly again anytime Schle hdorn to come. On average it had older guests or ... families Schle hdorn in. read more

    we had a country house unit (room 35) with two bedroom, once bathroom with shower and bathroom with bathtub and a large living room with studio kitchen over two floors. We stayed at apartment felt very comfortable and the view of the village, black forest and the waste cabins-ski slope we really enjoyed. In the apartment it:a TV a small Stereo area, a small Safety deposit box, Sofa, dining table. The kitchen consists of fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, Stove and dishwasher. The bedrooms from once double bed with closet and small balcony, once double bed and as the bed. Wide information: see photos

    The dinner/supper must in the morning-in the breakfast be selected. It can be selected: appetizer; or between a soup juice main course: from fish-, twice meatand even vegetarian dessert and/or cheese buffet the food was always very delicious and tastefully. The portions are not too big, that you fear, that you too much eat. the breakfast is typical of a 3a four star hotel, traditional Baden, mirror- scrambled eggs on request prepared. the afternoon sausse is basically a warm meal and a cakes. we had it in the back area of the restaurant (baden room) very good. There is another area of very simple and functional decoration is (style: youth hostel)

    As I already described; the service can be described as friendly- reserved = 'Baden-rustic'! Partly the service was staff in the restaurant clumsy and smart. Partly dressed the staff several activities, for example service in the restaurant and room service. The whole family (three generations). example (dedicated) of services: we had a dress and the iron was on the way to dinner-the hotel of the restaurant presented, with the comment; you can it is not longer save! So we had the dress itself back to the room and then for dinner.

    It has a swimming pool (about 10 meters long and about 4.5 meters wide), two saunas, once small Steam room, jacuzzi once( subject to a charge), fitness room, table tennis-, Billiard room, etc. the pool according brochure 30 degrees-we found the temperature was much colder -20 degrees the, therefore we were only once in the pool. The condition of the saunas is good, but unfortunately somewhat small (it could be, if the hotel is busy). In the small Turkish fit eventual 4-5 people. It has unfortunately only a shower in the field. it is the treatment area quite large and offers quite a lot of treatments/services. outdoor activities: about 10 kilometer away from the Feldberg, in visibility of the winter sports region Waste cabins (1 tow and 1 conveyor belt-hundred meters, three slopes of 150 m up 700 m, when we were there, there were only two runways open), the slopes are unfortunately North (that is shady/sun). The winter sports region is enough for a family in the afternoon or tomorrow with the really small-Beginners and/or tobogganing. There were several hiking trails

A very beautiful families leading hotel. In the immediate vicinity there are very many good opportunities for excursions ( use the high black forest card recommendable nonetheless). In the hotel even: pool, wellness area, Saunas, games room, computer, table tennis, pool, kickers, and so on A ski lift in the immediate proximity ( about 5 minutes path). For breakfast, there is something for everyone. During dinner you can choose between 4 or 5 choices( every day there is a wide variety of food). The children must even a bit like. The country house right nicely furnished and large. So all ... in all: great hotel! read more
