    There are two enough big pools and a baby pool. The location is great. One has everywhere this wonderful sea view. Crucial drawback at least in our travel time october : the pools are freezing.! Especially the larger pool is so cold, that you only under pain can go in. For children absolutely unsuitable! Our six-year daughter was completely refused in the cold to climb, our eight years of son is once swam and wanted then zähneklappernd really quick again out. Was the sea, also in october right was fresh, pleasantly warm. What you need to know: all pools had salt water. However that didn't bother us. The entertainment for kids is ok, however, a supervisor for more than 20 children far from enough! This may also our travel time from october located.     On the one hand is the location wonderful. Just above the sea with stunning views and beautiful sunsets. On the other hand, you are but really the ' ass the world'. Without car is one aufgeschmissen here. It runs only three times a day a bus at 9 o'clock 40, 13 and 18 hours. If one 9 hours 40 missed, see thus already gloomy. The bus goes only to San Antonio. If you want, you have to change. For a trip to the hippy market punta arabi we would have believe it or not four times need to change. Since we left to go left. There is no hotel-own beach. The closer to the beach cala codolar is nothing special nice and was also during our vacation completely infested with i already described! The further away the beach cala comte is however really exceptionally beautiful. However one walked here also good 20 minutes. The complex is see ' in german hands ', not only because of of the guests, but also, because the chef is german. Really bad and in need ... of improvement is the supply of internet/wi-fi. Only the hot spot at the front desk worked reasonably, at the bar he was constantly broken. Wi-fi just at a charge (is an anachronism), only 1 login at the same time, what annoying is, if 4 family members with their devices gladly times to the internet. Apartments are simple, but clean and spacious. Except a sink, i next to the refrigerator was missing (essential baby items in the bathroom cleaned) and the blankets usual in southern countries on the sheets there is nothing to complain about. We had full board, every evening different theme nights, and an incredible selection and very good food. Only the desserts left, except for the ice cream, much to be desired. The desserts were not very tasty. Exception even made kaiserschmarrn before the eyes of the guests and crepes, with cinnamon and sugar for breakfast there was.     The entertainment for kids was (in october) not the hit. A doctor was for around 25 to 30 children undelegated, all ages between 3 and 9 years! The fact that there no decent program can take place is clear. Furthermore, there is the kids disco (circa 20 minutes) every evening at 19:30 o'clock. Way too early, there the dinner officially only at 19 o'clock begins. We are therefore always at 18:45 o'clock eat out, still have looped, to our children to love the kids disco around half 8 to create.     Great view. With small children somewhat pedantically, there the bus only 3 times per day after elvissa or San Antonio drives, definitely too few. Especially the first bus at 9:40 o'clock (too early, not rush to have). The next first at 13 o'clock, then you are in the middle of the afternoon siesta in the cities and do not shoppen to go. The way to the great beach of cala conte is cumbersome with a small child (2), as one 20 minute walk (through the 'mountains', over stones). Buggy is not. All in all, it is very difficult from the hotel to get away. Rental car had to be reserved one day in advance, if one considered, a rental car to take, is not. An organized bus ride to the hippie market in the east should have 33 Euro per adult and 16,50 Euro per child cost, too expensive definitely. However by bus on your own you could 3 change must (4 different buses) and hour on the way. The bay, the close to the hotel is, was full of jellyfish and not nice. The pools are cold, but were in october extremely cold, especially the large pool was a disgrace.

The hotel is on a hill and with its lots of small bungalows like a small village. The children can super also alone on the complex move without that you have to be afraid. We were as a couple with our children, my mother and her friend and were all agreed that it was an absolutely great holiday was. The hotel is somewhat outdated has but nevertheless its own charm. The family rooms were rather dated. The toilet was on arrival not alright so that water for flushing and the whole bathroom underwater stood. But on the same day repaired. There are two beaches from the hotel walking distance, the one over stairs circa 102 steps, but we didn't as it is very stony and for children not so is well suited. The other about 25 minutes on a steinfad or the street( is however longer) to reach. The beach is also rather small, but it is a rough sandy beach.

The hotel originates from the 1970-years. The water supply is made through a 70 meters deep wells, the under sea level and slightly salty water promotes ( pool, bath tub, park, etc.), what for the guest however not a problem is (probably but for the art and the garden). The German hotel management does everything so that, the complex in good condition to hold. By the pueblo/ Finca style of the 'hoteldorf', and in particular the excellent location hotel terraces, the hotel an atmosphere of informal cosiness. The guests were as pleasant friendly, polite and discrete (mostly German and ... swiss families) like the staff. The swabian manager of the hotel is omnipresent and takes really continuously everything ( from breakfast till in the disco night). In the grünanlgea everything conceivable done, to the atmosphere to decorate, also the problem with ants was well in the grasp of the industrious gardener ( no ant in our Finca). The pool was a bit cold ( October, not heated), but that was not the end of the world. Especially we recommend in the hotel a rental car and for swimming in the nearby bays to drive. The hotel beach is about a few steps easy reachable (10 minutes over 100 steps, na and?), it has us however in October not much. Against is the cala compte (20 minutes on foot or 3 minutes car) an absolute dream. Nor beautiful is the Cala Bassa. Carribean like. If in the hotel and at the pool the strong north-wester blows, it is in Cala Bassa quite windstil, wonderful! As the hotel boss already from the start pointed out, what we are very grateful. We have our badeentscheidung so always depending on the wind direction like-) especially worth mentioning: through our mistake we were at night at 1:00 o'clock before we closed bathroom door. After 3 minutes was maintenance man as, and opened uncomplainingly the castle. We can the complex and their tireless staff was very good, although we only four star superior hotels book But in this three star hotel we did very well, simply, but by the attentive management very good. PS: in the kitchen work many germans/ swiss. It shows from breakfast till to midnight soup, for example 5 different types of bread, poppy and so on. Keep it up! read more

We are already several times in the Calimera Playa dolphin and go gladly anytime again back. Only what a 'weak' is, that no good wi-fi-offer is. Man must always in the front desk and also there it worked not really good. Also I think the Wi-Fi -offer it rather expensive. Otherwise, as mentioned, top and gladly again! read more

As already described above we were October 2012 the third time in the club complex. Flight / club complex / hired car was booked separately. You should in case of a booking always bear in mind that it is a 3 star or four star hotel ( club complex) after Spanish stars is. German Suppliers know it seemed to be not even how many it has. The club complex is extensive and the food is really great. Who plastic cup outside of the restaurant criticized, you should be aware, the pool nearby and children walk around. Splittergefahr. Unfortunately our room ... didn't work and we had a bungalow for our balcony had. A colony is in the closet on our clean clothes ripped off, also in front of the bed you had not stopped. After complaint at the information were small Köderdosen laid out. The number of ants went to a hand fully back. The beds are 2 single beds on wheels, and cover only a thin sheets with bedspread. I personally too few. A 2. Pillows I moved to get. The rooms are badly soundproofed, with strong wind whistled it was really through the cracks of the doors and window.     The family apartments are simple but nice. On a fully equipped as in 5 star hotels, you must do without- but also not at all there fit. In october is the ceiling fan. In the summer would be an airco definitely necessary. The bathrooms should however be renewed. Nevertheless, everything was clean and to be comfortable.

    An absolutely great and varied food. Also at the pool bars the food is more than enough. Can't starve there nobody - on the contrary. It is loosely 2-3 kilogram more with home, because you always want to try everything. The restaurant is clean and the staff very attentive.     The staff is absolutely friendly, attentive and helpful - no matter which department. The vorstellungsrunde /welcome makes the boss himself. The child care was very professional and elderly divided. Even the doctor (which we unfortunately several times have to go ) was very friendly.

    The hotel is in a dream-like location. Only one negative is the adjoining beach. The doesn't really pay off. As a starting point (especially with a car) is the location great. You can get everywhere very quickly (Ibiza is not large) and also in the immediate area there are great beaches, the on foot then but a little too far. But also for people who don't like go on excursions, worth it in the hotel complex to stay.

It was our first vacation in a Calimera hotel. Over location and interior we were through the internet well-informed and experienced so no surprises. Everything to our taste. Our apartment was clean, simply furnished, had a fridge and was quiet at the end the hotel located. All-inclusive was sufficient, the end of the season was the choice not so good anymore. I drink gladly coffee for breakfast. The coffee there out of the machines was unbearable. The hotel and the rooms were in general very clean, it was in the bathroom and also on the premises but often a disturbing ... sewage/sewer smell. read more
