The appartment is perfect for two couples plus a child or a friend as there are 2 nice bedrooms + 2 bathrooms with a washing machine in one of them and one more small room with a single bed suitable for an adult. There are 2 TV-sets but we didn't find the channel of Val Gardena:( The kitchen is well equiped: has a 4-plate stove, dishwashing machine, a drip filter coffee machine, but don't forget to take dishwashing tabs, coffee filters and washing powder. read more

Both rooms have double beds, cupboards and commodes. One room has a TV and additional Internet socket.

Spar is 180m from the house + good kitchen = you can cook anything.

Internet is only by cable - 10 euro/week for a 5 m cable that we used in the kitchen.

Mar Dolomie - the swimming pool - is on the way to alpe di siusi - so can be reached by foot. It is better to go there at 19;30 - 2,5 hours before closing cost almost twice cheapper (5,9 euro/person). The veriety of water activities is quite poor there, so there's nothing to do more then 2 hours.

The ski lifts are not vwry close - the nearest is a children's slope that is NOT connected with alpe di siusi lift though the map sais the is a path. So you have to take off the skis anyway to get to the cabin lift. It is more easy to get to Seceda - by foot to the central square and then to the tunnel with escalator - the start of tunnel is 500 m from the house. If your ski boots are not very comfortable to walk in them - it's better to take a pair of walking shoes:) The car parking is not free on both lifts in Ortisei - 6 euro/day on alpe di siusi and 8 euro/day on seceda (19-26 of Jan, 2013).

The apartment is almost in the center of St. Ulrich. For two couples very good vacation apartment suitable, since two rooms and two bathrooms. For smokers is also ensured, since an easygoing ambience that attracts smoke on the level Earth nearby covered terrace. A separate small room is also still available and the camps be used. The kitchen is otherwise for a bit too cramped. Only one room has a TV, the second TV stands in the kitchen. The is very good, then you can in the morning already panorama of the Alps and on the day with. read more

2 x good size rooms with one smaller room, ideal for Grandma or 1 child Kitchen is a good size along with 2 x bathrooms. 2 x showers, shame there was no bath after a hard day on the piste. A small detail though!! . Plenty of parking, clean with good facilities on hand. No wifi or internet which is a shame for some maybe? read more

Good size. clean etc, bedding fine. TV worked but only German and italian. I didn't come for the TV, so not a issue.

The mountain food was good. If you love italian food and robusk mountain cuisine, you will be happy.

The family are super friendly, only issue being the owners are speaking German and Italian only. However the son is usually on hand and speaks perfect English. No issues encountered while we were there which needed us to complain.

Good skiing area, Alpe di Siusi is great for intermediates or families, although the first 3 lifts on the mountain just up from the resort need to be modernised. Old two manners, that are slow and with queues. However, once you get past these the lifts get a lot better. Alpe di Siusi would not be so challenging for experts but perfect for beginners and intermediates. For more advanced, take the cable car to Secada area and drop down to St Cristina and Selva Gardena, However the lifts here were quite busy - 10/15 mins to take the cable cars to Secada and from the bottom of Selva. It was half term, so I am sure, less busy at non-peak moment. Probably during peak moments like Christmas, Feb half term and Easter is 10/15 mins. For the Selva Gardena area, the pistes were good, steep etc, but I had no chance to get off piste, so cannot comment on this. A lot of people do the Selva Ronda (go round the mountain), I didn't do it as it looked like you are spending most of the time on 200 meter runs, then back on the lifts. As all the resorts in the Val Gardena area are linked and you can also take a dolomite super ski pass, there should be enough of different types of skiing for everyone, but maybe better to drive to the resort you want with the car/bus, rather than try to ski it..

Otesie is beautiful and the apartment is very close to the the centre of town. A 5 min walk to the lifts to the main pistes though, which is a pain with a young family. Its not doorstep skiing, like some resorts in France, but the beauty of the village makes up for this. Overall, not a big issue with children who can carry there own equipment for 5 mins. There are two ski-schools, One is 50 metres from the apartment, ideal young children just learning, however we took the other one which mean't the 5 min walk. Talk to the owners to recommend the closer one for small children, although we were very happy with the Saslong ski-school we chose.

We felt very comfortable in this condo. The host family is very welcoming and they will take care of all your needs. The statements regarding the gastronomy are of course related externally; the varied Culture, sports and offer at entertainment we will continue to do so as soon as possible used. Are the many opportunities for hiking trail, the one directly from the unit can be used. From the car or the chairlift systems wish we didn't have any to use. read more
