The hotel is for a few nights absolutely sufficient.
The rooms are modernly furnished and make a bright and clean impression.
Unfortunately are the rooms very noisy and the noise from the street is partly good to hear. But certainly in San Francisco could happen.
The valet service was friendly but the car was in 4 days definitely 3 times moved by. You should definitely after damage look, not as careful thereby am gone around. read more

We traveled with 7 persons and had 3 double rooms. The double room was big and had 2 large beds, to the inner courtyard. It was quiet, clean, with coffee-/ tea urn, pads were refilled, we had booked without breakfast, whereby breakfast in the hotel also not worth it:2 toast with butter and jams + 2 mugs coffee= 10 Dollar! It is just too expensive! Rather around the corner to subway go. At the weekend were a lot of gays couples in the hotel, but this didn't bother us. Some other German tourist were also in the hotel. read more

We like San Francisco looking forward to it and then came the hotel. We had it for 4 nights, after 3 straight away. Although the 4. night was. Guest parking is 30 Dollar on the day and the car was constantly knocked down.
No idea what that should be. read more

The hotel makes altogether a clean impression, however we had for the price we'd hoped for more. The town center is only few minutes on foot away (which the largest one advantage of the hotel and the key for the selection.) but we had a very loud room, we after check in wait very long and put off twice were. The employees are friendly, but the feeling, that organizational overburdened are. Twice we had to otherwise something new (coffee maker and towels).
Lack alternative you have to hotel parking use. Annoying, that the parking fees opposite the catalog in ... the meantime increased ( about $ 28 per day instead of $20), particularly the park-' service' overburdened was and you partly had to wait a long time.
An advantage is the spacious safe in the room. Wi-Fi without any problem. read more

The hotel is located south market, so in the poorer and not touristic area of sf. The one has noticed, that in the environment of the hotel a lot of homeless people life and night. One creates it thus hardly to the center without begging to be.
The hotel is a typical city hotel, so rather simple and not as comfortable as in the rural area. Parking spots are at the hotel available however you have a fee pay.
Us the hotel has not so much, there the rooms not comfortable and the location not the best. From our room ... we could directly on the wall of the house of the adjoining house look, more also not. The next time we'll probably spend a little more money and the fishermans wharf are.
Breakfast was not inclusive, so it is best, if one direction civic center, and a bit. read more

We stayed for one night at the hotel and we would not book here again. It was the whole night by very loud there. The location is not the best, you have to be careful in what roads you walk. We did not feel comfortable. read more

Nice city hotel in walking distance from Union square and the shopping area around Market street. Nice front desk, valet parking, key for the car must therefore be centrally stored. The size of the room was okay for a night, but since the rooms all go to an inner courtyard, very rough. Guests come home at night and in the courtyard, smack with the doors or return in the morning the cleaning the room. read more

I would say that this hotel is mainly for adults. The bar is lots of fun with locals that visit and hangout there. Also hotel is connected with a wonderful burger restaurant that is open early for breakfast and late night for those looking for a midnight snack. The best part of the hotel in my opinion are the common areas -- it seems lots of gays stay at this location. read more

Really beautiful, small hotel with very good transport links. We had wonderful days there and the staff what extremely friendly and could with questions regarding access to attractions very good help. The restaurant with the burgers the yourself could put together gave us really enjoyed and we will certainly, if we go back a trip to San Francisco plan, again there our stay plan. read more

For a longer stay we would this hotel do not book. But it lacks comfort. There is no private restaurant. From the hotel you come to the adjacent burger restaurant. The menu is rather sparse, but for a short snack should suffice. Also in things pool and interest the hotel has not lots to offer.
We recommend the hotel for stay of about 2 days. The location is good, subway and beard ( line directly to the airport) are in 5 minutes on foot reachable. Also to the center one comes on foot. Our comfortable walk took about 20 minutes. ... It is clean. The furniture looks you, that the hotel already a few years and the majority of of the guests probably only for a few days stay. Price-performance goes nevertheless reasonable.
At the end another tip: many travel guide recommended by sunset until sunrise to do, in the area go. Really one sees after sun down a lot of homeless people, like Hoollywood -movies their possessions in the cart around. Secluded from large streets are also quite unsavoury guys in the side streets. Not free to go at night very often the sirens. During the day are all the dark shape then again into their holes and one can go sauntering beautifully. read more

We have stayed during a trip three nights in this hotel.
The hotel is very stylishly renovated and pleased us very well.
We have a room with queen size bed caught, the relatively small was, but up on a fridge was available, what one needed. We have seen in the days but also, room so small that not all our we were. In the bathroom are bathtub/shower, sink is in the front. Otherwise it was an iPod alarm clock, a free safe, coffee maker, TV, free internet, iron and ironing board and iron.
The staff at the reception was very ... hard, we had two concerns and it was us immediately and very friendly help.
Since the parking at the hotel is very expensive, we have accommodated our car in a secure parking garage a side street away and ten per day paid. If you want to park in the hotel not, you should go there not only did on the parking lot, because we were asked by first, whether we with the car there, because they wanted to place us also the parking fee into account.
The location of the hotel is very centrally located-one is in a few minutes walk to the center and the tourist information-but as a few times already described, particularly not easy in the darkness. Since we but always on the way were to two, the was no problem at all.

Great Hotel in Retrostyle. Great Location! On the choice of room attention! We stayed in room 416 and was very quiet! Free Wi-Fi, tv in each room, Burger restaurant right in the hotel '. Parking is not included and costs $20 per day and tax. To The Airport
there are only 20 minutes and ten kilometer to the golden Gate (by car).
There is a shopping mall (10 minutes walk) around the corner, three blocks away.
We would stay there again in a heartbeat and stay longer.
The rooms were very clean and there is a safe in the room. ...
Subways is four houses and all the sights in the vicinity.
You can hop on a, hop-off bus tour book. 36 dollars per person
Or you can take for seven dollars per person a day ticket for the bus.
It is important to know, between 20:00 and the malls close 9:00 P.M.!
There are some people in the area, the a bit diagonally appear, but quite harmless.
The staff at the front desk was very nice and very helpful and very patient! read more

We had booked this hotel as a first stop on our us trip through the West. It is very stylish and the Retro look furnished. Also the staff matches the hip image of the hotel. The room was quite small but had everything you need: bath/WC, safe, tv, telephone, iron and ironing board and iron, kettle and complimentary coffee/tea in the room. A short walk you reach the Civic Center and one from met to a sloped shape, but as long as you don't go out at night, you have to believe I didn't have to worry. Parking is directly ... at the hotel, but proposes 20.00 USD per night plus tax will once again strongly to book. We will definitely stay at the end of the round trip time there and look forward to it. read more

The hotel is very centrally located. In ten minutes is one of the Union Square. Away there is the bit difficult, however. Sombre make, before all in the dark the walk there appear as an adventure. The staff at the hotel was really friendly and helpful. The room are almost all to the patio. Are sensitive to the room for people not to be recommended. You must have a sound sleeper or had ear plugs but have to get through to the night in your luggage. The parking fee of $22 a night is a rip off to describe. However ..., if you need a good location also no car. read more

The hotel was the first of our trip and we were in the hotel and room quality not disappointed. The often mentioned something gloomy surroundings of the hotel is us unfortunately also immediately noticed. We stayed at the BW in the context of a round trip for a couple of nights. The hotel is attractively decorated. The room has a tv, safe, Wi-Fi and fan. A fridge was missing. The rooms were big enough. A washing machine and a dryer for guests are available, as well as a fitness center with modern equipment. The hotel is a Burger restaurant and a bar.
The hotel offers parking for 20 USD the night. The hotel is the market street in about 300 meters away. Here, take the tram to the fishermen warf from Manns (line F ... for two USD one way). The hotel is located close to the metro station with immediate access to the airport (orange line for eight USB one way). Around the hotel very many homeless people. In accordance with the guide a tour begins at the corner booked the drugs area. In the evening was the walk to the hotel. We would not recommend this hotel. read more

Our stay at the hotel was really pleasant. The hotel was well visited with many international guests. This is a modern hip hotel in the Retro look. The hotel and the rooms were very well maintained. The walk from the hotel to the center was not far. However, the hotel is located in a very quiet area, which I alone would not cross. Many beggars on the streets and not a clean area. Three blocks away, it looked already better.

The best Western hotel americania is a stay in San Francisco really good. The rooms are clean and modern. On market street it is only 10 minutes footpath the Cabel car and station and the Westfield center are also within walking distance. However you have to have a piece by a 'dodgy' street walk, where you feel very uncomfortable. In the hotel stands free internet access in the lobby available. read more
