The rooms are from the size and the decor is very nice, friendly furnished and are regularly by the very friendly cleaning staff cleaned. In the lobby has wireless internet and also sometimes in the adjacent areas (bar). The average age is queer throughout and nationalitätensind german, russian and romanian. read hotel review

    The staff is friendly and the cleaning ladies are very friendly. The room cleaning was always perfect and you can't complain about. Care of children gives it in the morning and afternoon in the miniclub. As you with complaints i can not answer, since it for us everything was perfect. We had the hotel actually like 5. star awarded.

    To the beach it is only five minutes through the basarpassache from the airport to the hotel and the transfer took 45 minutes. Party, good restaurants there are in every corner. If you are too lazy to walk just take the shuttle.

We've just came back from a 7 night stay at this hotel. About the hotel I can say the rooms are large, clean, food was good, the stuff friendly. If tehere is anything to complain about this hotel, there will be the AC too strong in the lobby and restaurants and the fact that wifi didin't work in the rooms. Otherwise, everything is great there ! Go for it ! See you next time, Astera ! read hotel review

    there were 2 restaurants, very clean, but AC was too strong sometimes. I didn't like the fact they didn't let anyone get out of the restaurant with food...for ex a lady wanted to bring a sandwitch in the room for her boy who was ill and couldn;t come to breakfast, and the guy at the door didn't allowed her to do this. The cuisine was good, varieted.

    Very good gym , entertainment ... The animation team was great, they made our vacation worth iy ! Everybody on the team was nice, communicative, kind, taking care for all of us have a great vacation ! Mr Fatih is a very very nice person, very good showman, he's joyfull, smiles all the time, he's in a very good shape anytime...never tired, never bored... he is born to be an entertainer ! The shows were awsome...he danced different styles...Michael jackson, Spanish ...he sang live a very beautiful song, made fire show... In a word : thank you so much Mr Fatih and all team ..Peter, Marto.... I would love to see you again next year ... or maybe sooner !

After the opening of the 9-story anbaues with own two elevators the hotel is for me crowded. The former dining room was around 90 degrees rotated, the initial broadside is now the long side. Food and drink you can in this dining room 'rustic' in a kind of alcove get, the enhanced by pillars cramped is. Behind the front desk is in the former casino a larger dining room named aqua with lower ceiling and therefore very noisy. This is a new huge toilet with much mirror glass and completely without seclusion, so for both male and female! Both dining ... rooms are close with furniture ordered. Very unfortunate is the dining room 'rustic', that no passage on the small outdoor patio longer exists. There is now a foreign accessible billiard room. The only open-air area is now on the terrace, on the but also chairs and tables are missing. The fountain at the front of the left has disappeared. The casino was abandoned and a huge lobby (see photos) installed. The old small lobby bar on the 1. floor is still. There and in the entire ground floor very good wi-fi reception 'astera free' without login. From the ground floor, there is also a escalator zur alten lobby bar. - the german guests are become rare, it far outweigh Eastern Europe and south-east europe. A shame, it suffers the whole hotel culture. On the weekend in addition, tourists, the by car drive, in addition, so that it quite cramped. Crowd has earlier in the astera never given. Now however.     Our room was very nice furnished and always clean. If you leave a tip on the bed, the charwoman very hard. The free drinks in the minibar (water and soft drinks) were refilled daily. The balcony was beautifully large and one had a great view on the sea. The bathroom had a bathtub, which even with german standard is not self-evident. Air conditioning system functioned perfectly. In the pre-season it was very quiet outside, so we always slept with open balcony door.

    There were two restaurants, both very nicely furnished and in which there is a good choice of meals there was. The food was always fresh and tasted very good.     The pool was absolutely sufficient. Especially during our travels (end may) were 90% of the loungers by the pool, as well as at the beach was not occupied.     The distance to the airport varna is about 20 kilometer. for a shoppingtrip there with the taxi we on the way 15 leva and for the return trip 10 leva per person paid (always with the taxi a fixed price negotiate and not hours drive). By bus (but much longer runs) you paid circa 6 leva after varna. To the airport Burgas (Sonnenstrand) it was about 150 kilometer. i mention this, because our flight was due to an unfortunate accident at the airport varna in the Burgas be redirected to. From there organised TUI coaches, we gold beach brought. It took us 3 hours. The hotel is directly at the beach. The hotel's own, very clean beach section there is also only a few meters. Directly on-site there are lots of small stores, the fake goods offer (longchamp, hollister, Adidas, Camp David, ray ban...). Supermarkets are available. We didn't go on any excursions. We have a pub crawl (30 leva per person) joined in. We were there at 5 different locations (disco's and bars), in which we in each case a free beverage got. It was very funny. Of course you could also outside the hotel in the different restaurants for small money food. Since the gold beach a pure tourist mile is, there is no attractions.

My fifth stay at the Astera was absolutely great! For a four-star hotel is the service exceptionally good! So a little know otherwise only from five star hotels. So I look forward to my next visit! read hotel review

In the meantime I was already 4 time in the astera, and I loved it the top - location of the hotel and the fantastic service! For a four-star hotel exceptionally good! This service you knew only expensive five star hotels worldwide! Only drawback are small TV in the room! My in short: I would gladly come again in the astera! read hotel review

on the whole a great hotel, in more ideal location. Lots of bars and shops opposite. The hotel's own disco (free for hotel guests ) is the best on the whole town, where you whole night dance can. I would but no more in September fly, since very lots of pensioners in the hotel and location were. the salad buffet was perfect and delicious. The food was not so good. There was almost every day the same, although it every day a other Subject. Also the meals were partly cold and it was not more filled. But you always found ... something. the pool and the indoor pool very clean and recommendable nonetheless. The sauna and steam room was also great. read hotel review

I travel a lot with work and even in Germany during your stay in the hotel with at least four stars. It is clear, however, that now other standards prevail in Germany than elsewhere. For Bulgaria, I found this hotel quite good. What I didn't like about this hotel übereugt-good location-the sunbeds including (for gold beach unusual). There is a ' type mini bar on the beach. There is water, soft drinks and beer, as well as small snacks. Because I don't drink alcohol in the sun, I thought the selection was adequate-clean beach-modern facilities (partly with usage, but ... not too bad)-We really liked the food-International alcoholic beverages such as Jim Beam and martini. Even the native beverages.-Hotel-own disco (already mentioned several times in previous contributions) what was missing to me-toilet on the beach-pool for adults (for example or Tanzperformance singing). Every evening there was a program for children. Conclusion: The hotel is suitable for people, who like it and want to be right in the middle of it all, the hotel was very good. If you want to enjoy peace, was at the wrong place here. At night it is quite noisy. What I can't confirm, is the rudeness of the staff. If you like a anlächelst and a bittest, you get a smile back. Everything we asked, was taken care of immediately. So more smiles ☺ We did not regret our choice and had great holiday. read hotel review

I was on a business trip in the astera probelms. During this time, there were many older guests were in the hotel. What this reveals in the framework of the all-inclusive booking tidy the alcohol awarded. Now, I actually wanted just a decent room and a breakfast. The room and the furnishing with tv, telephone, mini bar was okay. However was an internet access was not available. The cleanliness was good. The friendliness of the staff was not on pig English. The breakfast was served in buffet form was good and plentiful. If you are looking for in the immediate ... vicinity of the hotel. No matter how many stars this review arise, I should not be more than three. The four stars at the entrance of the hotel are, in my opinion not justified. A recommendation from me only for people, which didn't have too high demands for a sophisticated atmosphere, and with a clear area of the hotel all other than quiet. read hotel review

The hotel Astera has 9 floors with altogether 203 rooms. Everything is modern furnished, it to European standards adhered. To cleanliness within the entire hotel range by the management one paid attention. The guests were a multicolored mixture from Europeans, Russians and Israeli. Since we traveled in the holidays off-season, were many young couples or families with very small children represent. The generation 50+ constituted about 30 per cent. read hotel review

    The rooms were coloured modern and very styleful furnished. One could book a safe at the reception (for one week about 20 EUR). Otherwise there was air conditioning system, free mini bar with water and shower and a bottle weisswein. In addition TVS with many German channels, foehn in the bath and a roomy balcony with beautiful furniture!

    The coworkers at the reception are very friendly and helpful. Everyone strives to speak German and with simple school English also always gets ahead one. As already mentions, one can use evening the various clubs and bars. Disco routes even organized are offered by the tour operator.     The hotel is in the middle because of a party mile. Hardly one left the hotel, has one bars, various purchase possibilities, entertainment possibilities and restaurants before itself. The distance to the hotel-own sand beach amounts to about 3-5 going minutes, thus super fast. In the proximity there is a pharmacy, a post office, supermarkets, banks and thus everything which one needs. The city next lain is Varna, which with the taxi/bus is attainable in about 20 minutes. We did not use that however, since it was missing to us at nothing.

We already visited many hotels in European Union countries, but as a hotel as the Astera, which neglects the nonsmoker protection in such a way, did not give it really yet.     Here I must evaluate unfortunately badly, since we could not participate in as already upper indicated an animation meeting, without risking the own health. There were 4 discotheques, these in this hotel we had once visited and after about 5 minutes had already again left. In three of these “premises” were the railways of our hearing very clearly crossed, so that we went also here due to the own health again. We did not want only at all to enter the fourth “spatialness”, had it however to be in order to arrive in the other “premises”, because we accepted in a Piepshow or something similar here. On the left of a large black leather sofa with very many young ladies mutually stroked itself, whereby I would now rather not like to report in detail. On the right side sat young on Ledersesseln and examined this driving. We dance to one did not see, from our view were not also the correct necessary place, in order to dance, how we would dance. Thus for us there was only one alternative about 15 minutes foot march along the seafront where live volume in a restaurant directly because of the hotel-own beach been a up-played. We had to wait still with the checking in to 14 o'clock, what correct was perfect, AI could use fully. However the “luggage boy” has the area planned for it up-closed and us with the suit-case stows away course-looked, instead of anzupacken. Of Al we the suit-case then in the room brought, he also only course-looked., However we had very large rooms with beautiful view in 6. Stick noise disturbance ..., about what one must realize oneself at the gold beach. It was not clean with us, the sheets in the week not even was changed, but the towels and bathrobes daily. + steam bath are inclusive of sauna - > super! Dining-hall was largely and very modern furnished. Meal was good. Waiters never answered and knew a smile also no German. External pool was beautiful, however the bar employee always made a genervten impression. One could see nearly nothing to lobby bar totally smoked and of the evening program received/.     The situation of the hotel is good. One must cross a road (however the much traveled is) and is in all the small business and to also jerk-twitch directly in the middle at the hotel-own couches, which are inclusive. That was already annoying! The coworkers at the reception are very friendly, can partially very well German. For about 20 €/week gave it an hire safe at the reception. Thus one had already a better feeling. There were many different nationalities. At most Russian, German, Israeli. That one could smoke nearly ... everywhere, I felt as a smoker rather pleasantly - in Germany one is meanwhile discriminated against nearly! The hotel-own disco is very modern and super geil.     The staff at that pool bar and that lobby bar was sometimes rather unfriendly. In the restaurant again always friendly and nicely. A smile and causes miracles thank-beautifully with those (those do not know probably; )) German, English and Russian are spoken of nearly all. The showering head had very much calcified with us in the room and disgustingly. We would not have showered in such a way. After short info. at the reception this was exchanged still on the same day! Great one!

    The hotel lies about 5 minute far away from the own hotel beach. Couches, sun screens and beverages at the beach including! Otherwise bars, taverns, are restaurant, Disco, Casino, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. of everything there along the promenade! Somewhat annoying are the people, those at the beach things turn (etc. make decoration, shells, fruits, fruit, photo) otherwise are very good from the hotel everything to reach!

The showering heads could have calmly times been renewed. The spa range was the inclusive sauna was good, the steam bath was however starting from at the beginning of of Octobers defectively and afterwards smelled it extremely after mould. read hotel review

    The rooms were nicely furnished and very clean. The chambermaid was super attentive, unfortunately the only one, each day fresh towels and three times new bedlinen. These were prepared also very often beautifully. Beverages were always refilled.

Friendly also the waiters were not real and also not endeavored. In addition, at the beginning the plates were cleared still constantly, this already left after three days. No more animation starting from October. One is treated like humans of second class. It is really unfortunate, the hotel has actually enough Potenzial. There was no more Fassbier, only beer from plastic bottles (Aldi lets greet) and that had partly already run off.

Afterwards conclusion and the maintenance were unfortunately consisted of it in that lobby bar sitting (there everything else was already closed) to bear and the dirty carpet and the extremely friendly operation. There was a Billardtisch where the balls was multicolored mixed, three old and dirty PCs by the staff was usually used and an old Dartscheibe. Here there was also a large television, on however always loud bulg.
