Emin Hotel^{(3 stars)}

the rooms are small, but absolutely sufficient. In the rooms there is a small fridge ( no mini bar!), telephone and TV. The fridge and the TV are free of charge. the cleanliness was great, every day there was fresh bed sheets and the rooms were cleaned. the condition is' ethnic ', of course in Germany Lines differently shifted and different wallpapers. Instead you paid in Germany clearly more and in the room stops one anyway hardly is on. In Istanbul interested the city and not the hotel room. The rooms are at least have been modernised in good condition. even if the rooms small are, they are in any case clean. And I think, is the most important!

The food was so extensive, that we had failed. the restaurant was very comfortable, even if the tables and chairs were not new. In a corner there was an Oriental lounge on pillows.

the staff are polite, relaxed and very helpful. Through the multicultural composition (Tajikistan, Croatia) are already some languages covered, English speaks also some. German is one small downside, but also here is the staff eager to learn. the cleaning of the rooms I had already described, daily inclusive beds. Over additional services and the dealing with complaints I cannot say anything, since this did not occur. At our arrival was a sheet no completely clean, that was changed immediately.

the hotel has 24 rooms, so it is not very large. As a result there is a friendly, almost informal atmosphere. The rooms spread over the floors 1-3, on the ground floor is the small Lobby. we had the hotel with breakfast booked. This was good, there were three different juices and tea. The bread was jams, Honey, nutella, cheese and cold cuts offered. the composition of the guest structure was a mix of cultures, as well as the staff.

the hotel lies fantastic, very centrally located in a quiet lateral road. We have never in a hotel stayed overnight, so a great location. The hotel Emin is located just 500 meters from the Grand bazaar and the port away. The topkapi Palace, the blue and the new (Yeni) mosque and Haya Sofia is it just as far. The world-famous cistern, the galatabrücke and the Egyptian Bazaar are in less than 1 kilometer away. We are from the hotel to the port, across the galatabrücke to the tunnel (gilbreths tube of world) gone. Then continue from the Tünelhaltestelle by the street the independence to the Taksim square. This way I would with 3 kilometer estimate, is however easily manageable.
