A massive hotel on the edge of sousse at the sea, but could be in the form everywhere on in the entire world is possible, our room was rather small, a view of the parking, very small balcony, bathroom and toilet separated, pool is ok, we look at us the fitness room at, the treadmill is extremely dangerous, because it stops suddenly in the middle of the run, the employee jerks but only with the shoulders, the dinner buffet is rich and also very good, drinks a bit more expensive as already in tunisia hotels experienced. read more

The hotel, as well as the complex were quite large, however was everything-really everything-in a completely worn out or even terrible condition. The room was the space was sufficient (, as well as the balcony with a view of the entrance), but very spartan. Feel good is different! Mold in the bathroom, in the toilet, in our first room was everything devices broken: tv, remote control, even the safe, the light, the telephone. After several hour unsuccessful waiting time on the 'technician' we asked for a new room, which we to have then also gotten. But also the: moldy, carpet ... very unclean, light broken and this time the flushing. The extended also by the whole area. Just dirty, worn and neglected! Thank god we had only half board, because the food was really not enjoyable, didn't taste good and with the cleanliness one has it also not so exactly taken had. There really was every day exactly the same. Guests with half board could only the front area of the restaurant use. The other guests were all Russian origin, we have only one further German couple seen. At the russians is from young to old everything was represented. read more

    The rooms were quite large and also the balcony was very spacious. However the furniture was very old, everything was broken (also cabinets, chairs, etc.) the bathroom was on the first glance quite prettily gefliest, unfortunately was moldy but in every corner and end. The mini bar not a only time during our stay refilled, the fridge worked anyway not. One had however German tv-channels, evenings was nothing animation etc. , there you had to the tv but time. The in the description promised maker was not available, the hair dryer was broken (so better take your own). The condition of the room was like in the entire hotel: old, worn and even 30 years ago never worth 5 stars!

    As already described didn't like it, the selection was too small and the à la carte restaurant during our week of vacation also the prices raised and it was therefore for lunch very expensive ( a hamburg 12 Dinar, without side dishes or drinks). Here was the chairs already in all parts and I had always a piece of chair upholstery on the thigh to stick, if I get up wanted ^^ for breakfast you could coffee and tea take, for dinner cost the beverages extra. However one may not also outside water buy and all shops of the hotel were closed. So you had to the bought water reinschummeln and the doorman avoid... In the restaurant had always Russian music:-) there was unfortunately no typical tunisian kitchen, but the standard fries. Long waiting periods if you don't at o'clock to eat would like.

    The only friendly people in this hotel were the maids, thanks to a generous tip also always clean did. Towels seem rarity to be, as the used mornings were collected and only in the late afternoon fresh towels were brought. The towels for the hotel- and pool area were so good as always forgive. If you are lucky, was just what from other guests and you'll then also immediately (yes, used!) get. At the beach you could chairs and covers once can, but if you the beach-boy no tip there, there are no applicators, but only the bone-hard couch. The waiters are always unfriendly, exactly like the receptionist. The geldumtauschen always a receipt, otherwise you can for example the kautionsgeld for the beach hand towels (setback 40 Dinar!) 't get a refund! On our complaints because of the room was as described not at all response, not in spite of demands. Also in the 2. Room our complaints ignored and we had no light and a broken conditioner. Foreign languages skills were only at the front desk sparse available, but even in German. Apart from that only french, rarely English. If the bellboys (the bellboys at the airport) no tip there, do not go away, and in the way and ask for 5 €.

    The pool was quite musty, with the hygiene, the tunisians it is not so much... Sport as described only by pub provider... The mini golf course was a joke :-) the water at the beach was very clear and clean, long walks on the beach were but unfortunately not so to enjoy, as it is very, very dirty, the whole coast along. Chairs were not sufficiently available, also here only against tip a beach chair and for extra tip the applicators. Showers for rinsing the leisure time facilities were bad were available. Apart from that you can still in the' garden' put... All shops inside of the hotel were already closed, animation there was also not. Merely a 'show-time' beschmaddertes sheets on garden exit should mood make^^

    Although you will find easy a lot of shops for tourists to schnökern and also the towns of sousse and port el kantaqui are cheap with the taxi to reach (both in each case 5 Dinar), but apart from that is everywhere built and it is really very, very dirty. You will find everywhere landfill sites, even apart from the beach section. The hotel beach was nevertheless relatively clean, but it was right next door it started with the dump... Entertainment from the hotel directly nothing, 1 times a day for an hour music and once a day water polo. However were possibilities to do water sports at the beach available separately. The excursions after sousse in the medina and in the small harbor town Port el Kantaoui well worth it. The distance to the airport is 50 minutes with the bus.

I did expected much cleaner hotel as I was visiting different hotels for past 5 months in Tunisia, from 2 star up to 5 star hotels. I can compare this hotel with 3 star hotels in many aspects except the price. I had only breakfast included. This visit was a weekend break with my girlfriend and few friends from the work. We all come from different country, Algeria, Greece, Serbia, Lebanon, India and Pakistan and age from 25 - 58. read more

    I had a problem with a breakfast. The breakfast is up to 10 AM. I was there around 9:30 and I was waiting for the scrambled eggs for 15 min. After that time I couldn't find coffee cup and most of the food was not available any more. Friend of my had bad experience with the stuff as she didn't get tray for a coffee and they was rude to her for that.

    The hotel is somewhere between Sousse and Port el Kantaoui so not a bad location if you want to go around. There are few shops around. Hotel is on the beach but the beach is small just 2-3 rows of sunbeds.

From the outside the hotel makes a impression the all great would be and leaves nothing to be desired. But the appearance deceives. We were 14 days and the conditions are simply catastrophic. The rooms were big enough but the damp rooms partly very moldy and the air conditioning so strong dripped so that, the water from the türzargen ran and everything around so strong was moldy go for a 5 star hotel also in Tunisia not. Despite several times criticized conditions, did absolutely nothing. Room were cleaned and the cleaners were also always friendly, but under cleanliness one understands ... yet something else. We had all-inclusive and the did not work without much tip. I think 100, -€ for fourteen days a bit excessive and despite all gave it after 3 days for further 9 days for all inclusive guests no Sprite and in between there were also times no Cola or no mineral water. Travel guide and manager found the completely normal, we are in Tunisia and not in Spain or Turkey. ( there is this hotel never arrive.) Long waiting periods were standard. Everywhere! Often missing for breakfast cups and coffee spoons there was no. Yoghurt and pudding you had to with the fork food. The food was not the best, always the same inclusive stomach cramps and diarrhea. Too many Russian guests the lowest layer, the additional the vacation spoiled. Consideration and behavior directly nothing. We have stayed in many vacation in southern countries and never review delivered however this is very close to our hearts so that other guests not a experience need to make. read more

    Number of restaurants 3 but only with vorabthermin open. Quality of the dishes not very good. Cleanliness and hygiene in the dining room was under all sow. Dropped leftovers were often from the day before on the floor and the seating was often from other guests damp, because with its wet swimsuits sit, although was not allowed. Interested also nobody, mainly the leichtbekleideten women ogle.

    Except for two or three waiter the whole area only friendliness with good tips. Languages a topic for itself, some said always very they Germany love, confusing but as something, because the money German said. But that was not all. A doctor there were in the hotel not, even if it marked on the walls beach. Dealing with complaints not really easy. You were very fast rude and stamped as if you always found something to complain about should have been. But why is that if you are not in the location is guests satisfied?

    Pool in darkness not lit. Security risk for children The pool was milky and dirty. The consequence was rash. Shopping in the hotel were not possible, because all shops for the entire stay were closed. Loungers at the beach for high tips from the staff at the beach saved, the higher the tips the better the places. Some were the whole day not occupied.

    Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable and our room maid (Fatoum) made special efforts to add nice decorative touches. Air conditioning was free and worked well. A safe was provided in the room and also cable TV. The fridge was stocked with bottled water each day. The large balcony overlooked well kept gardens.

    The food in the restaurant was exceptional with plenty of choice and variation - the Head Chef and his team do an exceptional job, we were always greated fondly by the Maitre'd and our waiters were absolutuly wonderful with special thank you to Tarek, Hassen and Farouque who made us feel so special and cared for us so well, so much so it was quite emotional to say goodbye.

    The staff were very warm and friendly and provided us with excellent service. Our room was well maintained and clean. In the bar we were looked after very well and special thanks have to go to Adel and especially to Yussef who is an absolute star, a real asset to the hotel and a pleasure to have met and spent time with. At the pool / garden / beach are we were looked after by the wonderful Jamal who went out if his way to make us comfortable and despite language difficulties we became friends. There were plenty of sun loungers with mattresses and tables provided.

    We were very impressed by the facilities and close proximity to the beautiful beach and water activities. Mustafa was brilliant in arranging activities for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tunisia - a beautiful country with a rich cultural heritage and lovely people, we felt enriched by our travels around the country. We would thoroughly recommend Tunisia, Sousse and especially the Orient Palace Hotel and definately plan to return.

A very nice hotel complex. Very friendly staff. We can only recommend this hotel. Really a great swimming vacation with all the bells and whistles! Well kept pool and Allgmeinzustand of the hotel. In June we were 2012 and it was nothing to fault. Big praise applies the front desk ( especially at Ali and Abdel K.) in this hotel, the US especially always friendly and accommodating were. Orient palace is a very good hotel for a good price. The rooms are hygienic and big, everything you need is there. Animation team does everything to enjoy the people. They perform different shows every night for everybody to understand, cause Alex knows his languages very well. The staff is kind, friendly and warm. We enjoyed our holiday very much. read more

The entire staff is waiting for before it tip a minimum level of service leaves leaves, although only about 80 guests were in the hotel. The beach is not worth the name, very small and very dirty (15 umbrellas). The pool area is OK. In the rooms is carpeting, this is very unsanitary. Transportation to and from the hotel was in a very good quality. The decor is quite clear-the best years are over and five stars is not worth it. Under ultra all inclusive you can expect a little more. read more

The hotel, as well as the complex is, like every year very clean. One noticed however that the turmoil in January serious damage caused to the country and the people left. The staff at all corners and ends slashed. However, the service was very satisfactory. The staff was very friendly and obliging (even without tips!). But the beach was in the first week was very, very strong verschumtzt, so you only once a piece of had to go to be able to swim in the Sea (the hotel pushed the cleaning of the beach of the town and the city ... pushed the cleaning of the hotel. you every day to put. typical Arabic just.). The food and drink was excellent (although not a great choice as in the years before it was present). The usual, from its offered ultra all inclusive has decreased. You have every morning on request an orange juice, so you had to pay extra this this year, the cleaning of clothing (1 bit per stay LT. Description free) was wider unsuprisingly fee. You could still so much more about ultra all inclusive in the last year were included, but then the remark will become even longer. But on the whole it was a very nice holiday and we will certainly return in October. read more

A nice holiday. Drink service at the pool for all inclusive guests unfortunately no longer available.-a shame. The food was OK, but unfortunately sometimes not so hot. The waiters are very nice and attentive. Otherwise everything was as always (we were already four times in this hotel). read more

This hotel was specified with five stars, but what I have experienced very disappointed me( 45 minutes wait at check-in because the rooms were not ready. The food in the restaurant was monotonous!!! the same food every day. To the dessert the quality and taste of the food The drinks were watered down!! absolutely not enjoyable and sugar for my taste! The cocktails you could forget. adulterated fruit juice, syrup and other stuff. And the in a small sparkling!!! The selection of drinks was poor free card and even though we " ultra all inclusive " had!! The beach ... is a joke. at the shortest two meters long and then the water, hurt with algae. The service of the waiters more than enough. Either one is ignored or if you prefered to be served quickly, abrubt and unfriendly. Without a tip you are in the hotel a fix. The wait only to the one which money!!!!! but I do not see why I had such bad service also give tip. Conclusion: more than below average hotel at least 75% all Russians and five star far away is!! in my opinion a three star middle class hotel!!! read more

In the restaurant we are at the beginning of a few tables/spaces have been driven out as soon you our 2 year old grandson was seen (klecker risk), the same at the beach (noise danger). Was better after the weights had my husband. Tip you have for every handshake. The people behind the bar were always friendly (even without tips). The so-called play area consisted of 3 swings and slides 2 (one of them was slightly broken). Children's pool was a joke. read more

The hotel was quite nice but the bad organization and friendliness of the staff spoil the holiday. The beach was much too small and the beach towel change didn't really work. Massages are used towels and the gym is also a bad joke. Have stayed here several times in Tunisia but for a five-star hotel is Thank God had never experienced. In the future, another country for our vacation to select. read more

In any case this hotel five stars. The service the bartender was just bad-there are long waiting times at the pool bar and you reprimanded is why so many drinks at once adopted (we had all inclusive). On the terrace is ignored for a while, the waiters never smile and you get the feeling there would be a nuisance to use. The beach is narrow and dirty and the food for a five-star hotel is not (except desserts). It was OK the rooms with air conditioning. read more
