My wife and i (25 and 30) were for one night here Salzburg to visit. The hotel has a certain jugendherbergscharm, but there was no negative is. It is clean and furnished nicely. We have 61, -plus 80 cents nächtigungsgebühr for the cheapest double room per night. The room was surprisingly large and absolutely clean. It was great equipped, private bathroom, a relatively large flat screen tv, microwave and refrigerator. It even had a built in cot with bars. Also positively mentioned should be is, one may the dishes from the cafeteria downstairs with to the room take. The beds ... are two single beds which one however easily be pushed together. Now comes the big thick but. The beds squeak and creak so loud with every movement which we constantly woke up of it if you can get yourself or the other to move. We were therefore ready in the morning, with back pain since the beds also a bit hard. When we the problem with the checkoit mentioned, we had rather the feeling but reaction to be. Unfortunate the beds are unfortunately for us a knock-out criterion since you're on vacation wanted to relax. Sad since everything else about the hotel really is great. Perhaps it is the in other rooms different. We were in 130. i recommend the hotel nevertheless times in the hope that not all beds this problem. read more

Ok for a hostel. Downside 1: price 91 Euro for a double room way too high for the youth style. Disadvantage 2: housekeeping with abreisereinigung the window unfulfilled. Spacious lobby to stay a while with a coffee; also in the dining room (with a view of the castle) there are sufficient space. Nice for children until about 5 years: the kleinkindspielbereich with kriechtunnel, hüpfball etc. For larger children are board games available. We were very satisfied, just what i at the front desk forget have to say was, in other words that the room key on all rooms fit, we stayed in room b3 and i am at night in room B2 landed i came without any problems with my key (card) in both rooms. To us as a family best suitable hotel for a city trip. Great view from the room, dining room and of the lobby to the fortress. Could not great are. Also best port with the public transport links (bus number 3 and 5) in the direction city-but also on foot pub very easy to reach - because we only booked breakfast had.
