The vertigo is a rather small hotel on the sutter street, which is a familiar treatment guaranteed and no mass treatment. The hotel know a good condition-it is always looked, that everything sparkles. Wifi is in the price free of charge. read more

    The rooms are clean and in terms of size okay. There are departures for the size of the bathroom, as well as for the paper thin walls: if the neighbor in the room next door at night moves, you, that in your own room is - that was a real pity and on duration annoying! A plus is the walk-in closet.

    Top! The staff is very friendly and always very helpful - no matter wether it concerned questions to of the city or around the hotel directly went: one always tried very hard, to find an answer. Also the cleaning of the rooms was very satisfied satisfactory!

    The hotel is 4 blocks from the bus stop in the direction wharf (journey time: 20 minutes, simple drive : 2 Dollar) and 4 blocks fußdistanz from the Union Square away. In next area there was a a few restaurants and bars, but if you a larger selection preferred, should 10 minutes towards the Union Square walk.

- the hotel has a very good location as a starting point, to explore San Francisco ( to the Union Square circa 10 minutes walk) Check in was very impersonal and cold. For our stay there was against our expectations no breakfast, also no luncht��te, but only coffee and tea. - rooms are very noisy! You can park on the best in the Buttericks garage ( a few doors down, costs 25 Dollar per night) worked very well for us considerably cheaper as the valet parking of the hotel (35 to 40 Dollar plus tax) In this hotel some scenes ... of the movie 'vertigo' rotated, time, it was said still hotel york, in the lobby the movie also in the pool. read more

Hotel with circa 80 modernly furnished rooms on 7 floors. Very nice lobby with internet computers, small fitness room, only one elevator. The hotel is, like almost every other hotel in Amerika also, quite noisy. Our room was however on the 6. floor and toward the backyard, this is why we have actually no large noise level had. Valet parking costs flat including taxes 39,90. For us with 3 nights but nevertheless worth it, since in public garages around 25 Dollar and tax a night is required. You really need no car in sf, but as we passing through ... were, we had it already. read more

    The rooms are although not very big, but nice and decorated up to date. The armchair in orange eingesticktem vertigo branded logo looks really good from. Bathroom was renovated not too long ago, the mountings seemed very new. The volume the shower is a little bit special. Only turn on the tap, only the temperature but not water regulates. The was always the same. Then the bottom part of the dropping for the bathtub down, then the water from the shower. But then shower and tap the water about 50:50.

    Location very central and any public transportation shortly easy to reach on foot. Cable car either two blocks up or four blocks to the left. Two bus routes directly in front of the house. The muni pass gives also in the small grocery store around the corner, but often sold out. We booked it directly at the tourist information bought. Also 4 blocks to the left and then turn right onto mason street. Only the way to the pier took approximately 30 to 45 minutes, since in until twice with the public must be transferred. Alternative would be by taxi.

Well situated and clean hotel. In the area there are a lot of bars and restaurants. Han's next door is very recommendable there is great breakfast! Unfortunately is the valet parking of the hotel quite expensive. Between 35 and 44$plus tax you have to expect! read more

Vertigo is a relatively centrally located posh hotel in downtown. In a few minutes you can reach the Union Square, Chinatown eTC. On foot. The rooms are very modern decorated and everything looks, as here in lots of pictures already shown. To the harbor it is a about 30 one minute hike, to consider was the mountainous nature of the city. The rooms and the bath were rather small, but still enough for a few days sightseeing. The furnishings can see: clock radio with iPod station, iron & -board, hair dryer, coffee machine, Bathrobes, fridge, free Wi-Fi. Whereas there is ... no balcony yet pool, the need in SF however also not. Despite all luxury facilities and new decor was our tub had dirty grime scratched, dirty and full of holes. And unfortunately was our safe broken. Although the nice Caretaker Carl extremely hard, immediately to fix it, a different room we were nevertheless not offered. The review for friendliness & willingness to help resembles the caretaker from, because the female staff at the reception is extremely unfriendly, greets and smiles not. The parking with hotel service is very expensive. In the area, you can also for 'only' $25/day rental car in garages is available. Look Elsewhere is worthwhile! With the shower we had our problem. We seem not the first have to be:in demand at the front desk you had a model of the fittings to the explanation. Funny or frightening. read more

The hotel and the rooms are very modern decor. The hotel is very central and inexpensive for different San Francisco explorations. There are some small supermarkets in direct environment. The best the muni buy pass, with the you with all buses, Trams and the cable car can (there are for example at the cable car station is not included in the bus to buy!) The romos and the bathroom are rather small. Is probably the most affordable hotels in San Francisco sunday The showers are bit special, so that at the front desk even a original Beispielarmatur is. During the ... check in it will however not considered necessary, the 5 seconds to take for a short Briefing. Instead you had to wait to the guest in the morning to the front desk traipses around to learn as the shower works. In the coming to the hotel you will be ignored and gives also no greeting. Instead converses the staff better together and gives only a short view of the entrance to see who is the hotel door. It is the black Technician Came very friendly and obliging. He gave us even from asked, if we know how the shower worked, than we it in the elevator met. Us was the toothpaste from, as we last day in the USA were. On request there was free toothpaste at the front desk. The three stars at friendliness & willingness to help are also only because of the Haustechnikers & the toothpaste so 'high'. The technician was 6 star and the front desk at best 1! Good about the hotel is the room decor: LCD tv, safe, fridge, Clock radios with iPod station, coffee machine & tea, iron & -board, hair dryer, free Wi-Fi In the morning there was next to the reception free coffee & tea. read more

I was 5 days in SFO and with the hotel from satisfied. Size of the room& equipment sufficiently, bathroom big, Bathrobes available. Large Dressing room with a safe. Computers in lobby freely usable. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room & lobby adequate. Cafes & shops right nearby. Central location & public. Transport with Tagespaß and on foot for San Francisco ideal. read more

The Hotel Vertigo is good and is good with public transportation ( bus) to reach. For the trip there and back to the airport we have the Lorrie's shuttle bus service used. What a fast and Punctually to and from to the airport brings. Very it is nice that a small stereo with iPod or Iphone Dockanschluss returns. WiFi is Usatypisch for free. Only points of criticism is, that there was no real breakfast gives, however rather a lunch box, which a joke is. The heater respectively the heater took hours to the room on a pleasant temperature to warm ... up and was quite noisy. We would during the next visit to San Francisco probably another hotel select, since we a real breakfast attach great importance to it. read more

A beautiful hotel nearby of union Square, the on foot in about 10 minutes to reach is. From the airport one drives with the beard about 25 minutes. The stop ( Civic center) is however not right on the hotel, special around 15 minutes away on foot. The staff are friendly, complaints are dealt with immediately. Negative notice, that one only at 15 o'clock check in, which definitely is too late. We had in any hotel experienced. The rooms are by the size adequate, modern decor and very clean. The bed is extremely comfortable and a great tv and safe ... are also available. What was missing was a hair dryer. Breakfast we did not book, but there is free coffee in the lobby, as far as we noticed, there is an breakfast anyway only a small lunch box, is worthwhile so not really. Here you can wohlfühlend, the majority are anyway only for sleeping there. read more

A chic hotel in the Sutter street design. In the area there were different coffee shops, restaurants and shopping possibilities. A bus station is in the immediate vicinity, the cable car runs four blocks from the hotel (Powell street) the hotel made a good impression, however, the wireless Internet is available in the evening not reachable. The statement of the staff at the front desk 'because you can make nothing' is in today's time not comprehensible. Is unnatural the evening many people want to access the net news, streams, etc. to see. The breakfast is served in the form of ... a lunch box, an old apple includes, a packaged 'cookies', yogurt, as well as a fruit juice. Coffee is offered separately. read more

A very old hotel, with some new furniture tried to conceal the hotel age. The bathroom could be renovated again. To sum up, really a very good hotel. I would not want to stay there again. read more

This hotel is one the breakfast in a lunch box received. You could eat breakfast only at the front desk or in the room. The coffee and newspapers were complimentary. there was no restaurant, but many in the area. the hotel has been recently renovated. Transportation to and from the hotel is OK. read more

    the room was big, great I found the walk-in closet, the was very spacious. Otherwise everything was there, the beds were good and it was clean cleaned. the bathroom there is a secret. We have not achieved it, the shower set (upgrade bath tub on shower ) and had to front desk ask (probably were them so abrupt because the every day 120 times explain! ) for sensitive: we were right next to the elevator, every floor with a 'ping' commented. It didn't bother us.

    the area offers some, also small supermarkets for the coerced. the breakfast consists of a box with delicious orange juice, a fresh apple and a sweet Scrap rather questionable consistency. ☺ in the lobby there are good coffee, so we arrived.

    beautiful small city hotel furthermore with his name very good for city... Here was partly homonymous Hitchcock-movie rotated. Particularly the old staircase I liked it. ☺

    the hotel lies quite conveniently located and close to the marketstreet. And cablecar line 'California'. at night I would however so as a woman alone careful when the transverse down for marketstreet. A few dark designed one meets already. The Sutter longitudinal cross-country skiing.
