Preparation/construction took almost 2 days. The event itself (presentation & music), which in the evening at 19:00 o'clock began, was in the hotel room to be heard clearly, but it ended before midnight.
The next morning everything was already cleared away. Many scandinavian families with plenty ... of children.
Conclusion: more of a family hotel than for those seeking peace. Great pool area. read more

We have 1 week in the Sheraton Hua Hin spent. In this week there was at 2 days an event.
For this reason the lawn to a large part of the expected group for the whole day locked. This meant, that all other guests on a small sunbathing area limit had. Thus were the loungers close to each other, it reminded of overcrowded pools.
The must on vacation not really ok.
The rooms are very spacious and furnished nicely, the breakfast is very extensive and of high quality. Also the pool area is very nice.
However, we noticed, that in ... the breakfast area very little staff was present and the few waiters therefore were completely overloaded.
Without this permanent events a beautiful hotel! read more

The hotel is-as here in the forum already in many places described outside of Hua Hin and already belongs to Cha Am. The complex as such is very nice, well maintained and promises a real dream vacation. Unfortunately, there is-at least if you a ruhesuchender europeans-the current management against. During our stay, there were several parties taking place. This meant, that all efforts of the hotel for these festivities bundled and you the feeling had, that the 'normal' operation for the package tourists only ran on low flame. One had almost the status of 'paying onlooker' and had the restrictions ... uncomplainingly accept. There but also the seeking europeans for accommodation and meals paid, it is not fair, if you are on the basis of the established sumptuous buffets an eye can get, which in the hotel everything is possible, for a even such options however not be ordered. A very large pool (about 400 yards almost uninterrupted swimming possible), large quantity of comfortable deckchairs, clean and green. Excellent hotel throughout with light and airy rooms, suites are particularly great value. Nice bar area near the beach, good food in restaurants. Ressort feels like a huge garden with lots of water. On the negative side: Far from town, so need shuttle service( offered for a fee at fixed times) or a cab. Beach is small, water often not clean (sometimes with stingers in the water), restaurants outside only from adjoining ressorts, no shops. read more

Our summary of the 2. vacation in Thailand is this time unfortunately not positive. For a 5 star hotel the starwood -chain as very expected much more. Unfortunately are the many details, with a star hotel this category lead, that this hotel rather than a 4 star hotel the lower category to rate would be (after european criteria).
It starts at the state of the hotel and the room at. On the first view the rooms are generously furnished. The 2. view shows however some faults on. So is mold and wasserablagerungen on of the airconditioning wide. Furthermore leafs so ... slow the plaster was peeling from the walls and signs of wear at furniture are clearly recognizable. For a 5 star hotel in this price range should be expected, that the complex, particularly the rooms in an immaculate state existence.
Unfortunately we had to also experience, even with a prestigious 5 stars service unfortunately permanent requests and reminders in our opinion are necessary, in order to smooth drain of booked services is feasible. At the hotel there is an extra counter for the limousine service we wanted. We booked a car transfers from the hotel to the airport for a proud price from 5.500 thb! Even with the order we noticed, the linguistic standard at the counter is very poor. Only after repeated inquire and retrys could one of the employees down, when we to the airport must leave. Our experiences especially with the asian mentality have sensitized and attentive made. We wanted on the final day before departure make sure, that the car also really booked. It came out, that has no booking has been made! Unfortunately stayed on our request, what with our last booking happened only the typical bland thailächeln for us. For the proud price such a transfer service can one h. e. a smooth drain expect!
The hotel is located a few kilometres from the city center Hua Hin away. The hotel offers for this hourly a shuttle service to the city. Cost per person per distance is 50 thb. Unfortunately we had to quickly recognise, that already hours before scheduled departure the shuttle bus was fully booked. For a hotel of this size it possesses only 2 minibuses with space for about 22 persons! This is local view far from enough especially, if the hotel in the high season is fully occupied! Generally should for a 5 star hotel such boob normally not happen. Also must one first specify, if you shuttle bus for the way back want to book. This is very inconvenient, as you so his visit in Hua Hin first plan plenary debates down must!
The obligatory reserve makes a star hotel not stop. On our first day we had painful experience, that at half nine almost exclusively all loungers were reserved! Near other hochklassigen hotels we have never experienced something like that! There is the staff and the guests first instructed, that this is not necessary! These missed a unfortunately already on the first day the holiday feeling and rest and relaxation is not to be thought, if one morning around half 8. initially quick the loungers reserve should!
As in the previous reviews already specified has the Sheraton no own beach. The hotel is on a hill and the loungers stand on a lawn with beautiful view of the sea. Unfortunately is however this view marred by the gardener only around 9/10 hours start, the lawns with stinky water watering (probably the water is with pesticides enriched, so it as kloakenwasser smells or it is sewage, to water to save). Itself famous the Sheraton-hotel as ecological hotel, what we also quite commendable and unterstützendswert find, however could this irrigation also early in the morning before arrival of the guests take place.
In our previous vacation in Thailand on the island koh phi phi we stayed in the 4 stars Phi Phi Island village spent. Of the service there could also the Sheraton some slices truncation. There was it for great service, that every day by the pool the guests with fresh fruit and cool water very good. Of which is missing in the Sheraton far and wide the track.
In short for us:it is missing to the Sheraton the flair and the standard of a renowned hochklassigen hotels. In my opinion you pay as a guest gladly more the vacation in particular, the certain extra and certain additional services to receive. The Sheraton is a good family-friendly middle class hotel. If you with its family and with its children a beach vacation spend is in the right place here. Who however that certain extra for his money are looking for and above all on rest and relaxation hopes, is here however wrong! The service is unfortunately somewhat to. The booked room type was not available, it was upgraded, good but nothing if you have a room on the 1. floor and also because of the peace and privacy to have wanted. Room requirements are unfortunately never taken into account, i know unfortunately not, if you cannot or do not want. The friendliness leaves unfortunately somewhat after, is in the high season probably harder. For breakfast it took very long until the plates were cleared away (even if not much going on is ), the staff seemed lazy and unmotivated. The placemat are ... frayed and are not more. That is not for a 5 star hotel. The pool on days cleaned and you have to constantly under hoses diving. The cleaning could also at night show where you don't feel it anoying. For an indian event is also at night worked. So well we were already very often in the Sheraton perhaps one must change. Because of the evaluations we knew that it occasionally indian weddings and this on the website are to be communicated. While we were there there was no announcements from the hotel, but 2 indian weddings (ever 3 days) and 2 thai company (ever %%leavebreak%%). Weddings always found at different places instead of, during the day but always outside and often also on the spaces for sunbeds close to the beach. The company is completely on the spaces for sunbeds instead of. That means of the 10 there spent days we had 8 days where the spaces for sunbeds very limited ... to use. Next to the partying - in which the basses to the rooms to hear-is as a guest also still on and abbaulärm affected. Twice there from the hotel the offer, that you another beach drive to the noise to be missed. However we booked not the Sheraton elsewhere to be, but to the peace and quiet and the beautiful pool to enjoy.
This was our 2. vacation in Sheraton (the hotel is apart from that very good) and i would recommend a 3 time just go there if this partying not more in this frequency is. read more

It was a dream. We (couple 50/52), as well as sister and brother of the wife (52-58); had dreamlike 14 days. At the pool is the largest (and most beautiful ) pool area from Thailand. The beach is not to lay down, however therefor there are 10 steps away the possibility. The rooms were always to the complete satisfaction cleaned. The staff were always friendly and always had a friendly 'swati kaa' on the lips. We had only booked breakfast, but the was great. Hot /cold; sweet/sour; hard/soft; soups, fresh baked waffles, fruits in various colors and shapes (but everything ... crazy great tasted ) milk (in all forms ), coffee, tea, Cappuccino, juice, freshly squeezed juices and so on in the hotel (ok 5 stars ) cost just a small beer 0,33 liter 4 euros, but three minutes walk away from the hotel has an older lady their business. Since costs 0.68 liter bottles about 1 Euro. German you can outside of the hotel forget. Basic english should available his. We had massive luck in the hotel. Here there was a very nice girl named penelope and a very nice employee with the name Anne. I can german guests recommend these two women to contact. A question or a problem did not even have my mouth leave, as was already everything i complete satisfaction done. Thanks again.
Events. As i urlaubsvorbereitung las, that disturbances by indian weddings give, i was skeptical. But, that one must have seen times. So much splendour for a wedding, would be in Germany priceless. Whether as the bridegroom with an elephant is, a kind of hochzeitsaltar in the pool from milionen of flowers to be built, and so on crazy. But except for the weddings was actually everyday something other on the complex go. Ok tourist, what many thousand miles on vacation flies, then by the pool to sleep, may the may be inconvenienced while that. We 4 had no problems so that. Also from the hotel was all guests a fallback procedure offered. With a shuttle bus for thakiab beach. Narrow beach section does not load for swimming a. Is however known.
The kids club was by our 6-year-old son love to visit.
Breakfast buffet very varied.
Room large and clean. Bathroom huge.
Wi-fi in the reception area, restaurant, beach restaurant free of charge.
The shuttle service worked well. Child free. Before reserve.

Contrary to some (we do not know why ) negative reviews: we had a wonderful relaxing vacation in Sheraton. There was nothing to complain about. Pleasant and helpful people, wonderful and versatile selection of dishes, cleanliness and a feeling, that you are welcome, we the 2 weeks just enjoy. Of course, if you are in the number of crumbs which ended searches...

Already in 2007 I was a guest in this hotel and returned now as a single person back to this resort. Again, I was blown away by the pool area. My concerns a pure beach vacation as a single person could be boring, were in the Sheraton Hua Hin swept away. Who peace, relaxation, relaxation, cleanliness, friendly staff, casual luxury etc. For will find them here.
The guest structure continued mainly asians, indians, arabs and some few from Europa ( Scandinavia and Germany) together. At any time of the day found in every corner of the resort has a free ... beach chair. The beach is as already mentioned often than bathing beach not usable. Public, water and sand is partly covered with garbage, as well as no chairs or umbrella.
I experienced one of these already often mentioned indian weddings. Two days before were from the hotel for friday and saturday half-day excursions with free transfer and catering available. The instruction the event was the day before. You were well informed what when separated and the music ran until 18:00 o'clock. These however very noisy with booming driven, however heard in the direction beach hardly hear. I felt at any time limited and it was interesting to see how other nationalities a wedding prepare and partying.
If you leave the hotel you can actually only in the opposite fn outletmall go. One may however no branded articles, and the offer is manageable. Restaurants I didn't find, but if you can, the can on the daily's market under plastic tarpaulins and holzgestellen good with delicious things supply. Apart from that is several times on the day the regular shuttle bus to Hua Hin recommendable. Some reviewers complained of, that this bus subject to a charge is, but I think if you in a Sheraton lives, of the 2,50 Euro for the now-and transportation make.
It could of course also I of a high standard whine. I this the hotel communicated. With many visits to Sheraton hotels in Asien I enjoyed two things the were missing here: a fruit plate to welcome in the room and after. By the pool cold towels, as well as small obsthappen. But this really only, if you definitely wanted to find something!
Apart from that I can Sheraton Hua Hin all peace searching pool lovers thoroughly recommend. I am already looking forward to a reunion with a really friendly and accommodating staff, that even with larger rush for breakfast a professional and good organized serotoninergic had. As already often described, a complex circa 10 kilometer outside of Hua Hin. The rooms are obviously recently renovated, it is always efficient cleaned. The two-storey building are horseshoe shaped around the walking around pool laid out.
The guests were during our stay mostly from asia, some british and German guests. Unfortunately was the beach restaurant because renovation closed. The breakfast is varied and actually quite everything available. read more

We felt very much at ease in Sheraton. The hotel and the rooms are very nicely furnished, well-kept and very clean. The staff ( no matter in which area: lobby, room service, gardener, fitness, restaurants.) and the hotel manager are extremely committed and very interested, that every guest comfortable!
What a great shame was, in our travel time July/August there was unfortunately very many quallen and so was swimming in the sea not possible. The sea is clean, however not with the crystal clear water of for example Koh Samui comparable. The combination from walk at the clean, long ... beach and wonderful pool area in the Sheraton the ' minus from the sea' however almost again.
Our 2 children ( 8 and 5 years), a children's club, the hotel complex and the nearby destinations Elephant riding, Affenberg, nature Reserve, night market. Very good. read more
