Hotel seemed from the outside and in the lobby still very friendly, but you enter the hallway as well as looks the world unfortunately alarmingly different. Very dirty carpets and walls, the buzzing with wear now gray-black instead of white are.

The intercityhotel Altona has' direct junction ' and is next to the train station.
The building dates from around the year 2000 (built in the elevators). The rooms are for two persons too small, for a rich you, if you don't to size have expectations.
The reception was very nice and friendly.
Criticism: wlan 60 Euro the week is not up-to-date anymore. For a city center hotel with 3 stars should be the standard. (for a group Steigenberger anyway). read more

Small hotel right at the train station location, which is also the noise level of a train station has.

Ideal hotel for tourists with the train journeys. It is located directly at the train station Altona. The hotel is normally equipped, typical city hotel. The breakfast is ok, the cleaning of the rooms could be better. A large plus point is, that you with the room key have tickets for the public transport for the duration of stay get. read more

The modern hotel is directly on hamburg train station Altona. For railway fans interesting is, that the rooms the west side to the tracks views. Thanks to the schallschutzdämmung is the traction in the rooms nothing to be heard. Only the gongtöne, a bahnhofsdurchsage advertise, penetrate through the closed window.
The rooms (approximately 5 meters times 4 meters) are comfortably equipped with desk, safe, flat -tv and mini bar designed. The furniture in the room has a modern business ambience. Plenty of space for hanging clothes the installation of cabinets. The pleasant equipped bathroom is modern, with a walk-in shower ..., hair dryer and plenty of towels (daily change).
The breakfast buffet is varied sausage and cheese, as well as fruits and jams. Muesli, quark and yoghurt as a large selection. Coffee, espresso or Latte Macchiato you can at the automat prepare. For tea drinkers are various sorts of tea to choose from. Only the selection of rolls ( rundstücke in hh syndromal). Is manageable. In view of the abundance of breakfast buffet however not a problem.
Altogether a recommendable hotel, not only because of the location to the train station Altona, but also with plenty of shops in the immediate environment. read more

A very good hotel for a towns trip to Hamburg. Very good connections at the public transport.
Very pleasant, if the boss the service for breakfast vorlebt! I was 3 time there and enjoy the service and I hope, that during the next visit the hsv wins! :-)
For football fans particularly the free sky program in the room and in the lounge recommendable! :-)

The to the train station side of the hotel is incomprehensibly loud. From 4:30 a. m. morning blare the announcements. The quiet side advise is not rooms are more expensive, which in the reports but not explicitly states. A premature are charged the bill before the departure day, the unfriendly staff making insoluble problems. Zero flexibility with other requests, pampigkeit as in a youth hostel. read more

This hotel is for city trips very recommendable, since the transport in every direction here starts. Just the car and Hamburg by bus or train discover! Although one right next to Track lives, is with the window closed ( air conditioning) no noise to hear. Functional with flat -tv, mini bar. If you want to complain about-it is the bathroom a bit too small side. At the breakfast buffet was missing to us absolutely nothing. The staff/ waitresses were very friendly and skilled. read more

Like the name of the hotel suggests, it is right at the train station HH -Altona. This is, of course, a little commotion with itself, but if you the hotel only for sleeping needs, is here ideal conditions with. All sights from Hamburg are comfortable with the S-Bahn or subway to reach. The ticket for the public transport is in Zimmerpresi included. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the rooms were always clean and prepared. read more

Hotel is completely okay, however nothing special. Is right at the train station Altona. Everything clean and tidy. Room is not large, but absolutely sufficient. The bathroom was probably so a strange plastikbox, to issue, but tiled.
Plus point: you get a free Vahrkarte for the public transport.
Breakfast is good. read more

The Inter City Hotel Hamburg-Altona in addition to the central location enough big room with a tv, minibar and somewhat small bath. But for the stay really alright. The room was during the stay very clean. The breakfast was hearty and was always quickly refilled! read more

Hotel very centrally located, very good connections the S-, water-, and long-distance traffic. Friendliness at reception and in the service outstanding, but what you from the cleaning staff can't say. Rooms were unclean, in the bathroom were in the shower and in the washbasin the drains blocked (with hair), which a charwoman would have noticed must. After complaint at the front desk it was however fast fixed. Toilet and bath then the whole time our stay just seen a cleaning cloth. Also the cleaning of the room. We are not people, the because of any detail upset, but this must ... be nevertheless be said, because this really is an impertinence. Despite all we can recommend this hotel. You have to stop some Abstrichte make, and even the RAG into your hand take. read more

After a cruise with the ' Queen Elizabeth' we could already in the morning the room refer = great. In addition: location brilliant, traffic connection super, free use the HVV class, very friendly staff ( representatively Mrs Janine Schorradt at the front desk) and room- and bathroom-size adequate. What we noticed: we missed a make-up mirror and a renovation ( Unroll the walls and ceilings) is to be envisaged-the cloud but not the good full picture of the hotel. Clean, but not big room. A good breakfast and friendly service.

We stayed at the Hafengeburtstag in intercity hotel, the entrance area was perfect and I really on the hotel looking forward, especially because of the great location. But when we on the first floor from the lift traffic, came already a musty odor contrary to, and the like not at all. Then arrived at the room, there were separate beds and the room with a carpet ( in bad condition) equipped. In the bathroom I wanted only not at all internal fitouts (I'm a bit sensitive), I then nevertheless dared and must say thus showers I wouldn't want to, the ... Washing area and the toilets were okay. Toilet could have been better, but oh well. The breakfast buffet was very well arranged and the scrambled eggs were not so great. Sweet things were plentiful and good available. Which US very good pleased, you could for breakfast Slat and so on everything from a vending machine service and juice was good available.
In any case we were happy, the Hafengeburtstag and of course Aida Baptism was, so we all had in the hotel had to stay.
What in any case was very good, is the super good location. read more
